Background

Zhuang Minghui transmigrated to the Douluo Continent and became the grandson of Elder Zhuang, a Sea God Pavilion elder and the pavilion's only healing-type Title Douluo. Despite being regarded as a healing-type soul master, Minghui consistently favors direct assault and front-line combat. 1 11

He enters Shrek Academy with arrangements already made by his grandfather. His extraordinary twin martial souls and aptitude cause both the Martial Soul Department and Soul Guidance Department to compete intensely for him. He ultimately chooses dual cultivation: Yan Shaozhe teaches him through the Martial Soul Department, while Xian Lin'er and Qian Duoduo oversee his Soul Guidance training. 6 10

Following a dispute between the departments, Xian Lin'er grants Minghui authority second only to her own within the Soul Guidance Department. He may use its resources and research rooms freely, control access to its facilities, and order expulsions. 11

He joins Tang Ya, Beibei, and Huo Yuhao in hunting a Datura Snake. He saves Beibei from poison, empowers Tang Ya with Elemental Sublimation, and helps her secure her third soul ring. 4 5

Upon arriving at Shrek, Minghui becomes the subject of a public recruitment struggle between the Martial Soul and Soul Guidance Departments. He chooses dual cultivation and obtains exceptional authority in the Soul Guidance Department. 7 10 11

Minghui shields Class One from Zhou Yi's attack while Gu Yue defeats her. He brings the injured Zhou Yi to the Soul Guidance Department, exposes her misconduct, and helps force her expulsion from Shrek. 20 21 22 23

Life Scepter Evolution

After obtaining the Spirit-Eating Carving Knife, Minghui purifies it with his life martial souls. Spirit Gold evolves into the Life Scepter, greatly amplifying his skills and granting access to undead summoning. 24

Using the Life Scepter's reconstruction ability, he creates the Class 4 Signal Axe. He later proposes that he and Gu Yue pursue entry into the inner academy through Inspection Corps missions. 25 27
