Background / History

Tang Hao and his elder brother Tang Xiao were regarded as Clear Sky Sect's greatest talents in a century. Though Tang Xiao returned to the sect after their travels, Tang Hao continued journeying with Ah Yin, a transformed hundred-thousand-year Blue Silver Emperor. Spirit Hall had identified Ah Yin's nature and monitored the pair for more than eight years, repeatedly obstructing their attempts to return to Clear Sky Sect. 168 177

When Qian Xunji led a Spirit Hall force against them, Tang Hao refused to surrender Ah Yin. He detonated all eight of his soul rings and used the Great Sumeru Hammer in an attempt to break through a force led by a rank 96 Super Douluo and three rank 95 Title Douluo. The effort left him grievously wounded but could not overcome the difference in strength. 181

Qian Wuji stopped Ah Yin's attempted sacrifice and, on Qian Renheng's request, spared Tang Hao and Tang San. Instead, Qian Wuji destroyed Tang Hao's dantian, meridians, and martial soul. Ah Yin was captured by Spirit Hall, while Tang Hao escaped with his infant son. 181 183 184

Clear Sky Sect did not come to his aid; some of his distress signals were intercepted, while others reached the sect's senior members without producing a rescue effort. Disillusioned with the sect, Tang Hao settled in Holy Soul Village and survived as a blacksmith. 186 202 203
