Background

Qian Renheng awakened the mutated Death Angel and Life Angel as twin martial souls. His Death Angel could reverse yin and yang to resurrect the dead, restoring their bodies, consciousness, and peak combat strength while binding the revived to him in absolute loyalty. Qian Wushuang considered this power greater than the inherited Six-Winged Angel martial soul. 4

From early on, Qian Renheng treated his abilities as strategic resources. He requested hundred-thousand-year spirit rings and spirit bones, and openly expressed his ambition to overthrow the two great empires and become emperor. 5 He later used the Life Realm’s accelerated cultivation to provide Spirit Hall with high-grade herbs and potential high-age plant-type soul beasts. 33 38

His resurrection ability became central to the Qian Clan’s revival. He resurrected Qian Yanyan, then later led the ritual that restored Qian Caidie.
