Background / History

Qian Daoliu is Qian Wushuang’s son, Qian Xunji’s father, and the grandfather of Qian Renheng and Qian Renxue. He serves as the Grand Worship of Spirit Hall’s Worship Hall, leading the Six Great Worships—each a Super Douluo or stronger—and is himself a Peerless Douluo wielding a pure angel martial soul. 6 7

When Qian Renheng awakens the Death Angel and Life Angel martial souls, Qian Daoliu is deeply unsettled by the unprecedented mutation of the family’s Seraphim martial soul lineage. Though uncertain of its cause, he hopes Qian Renheng can forge his own path. 1

Qian Daoliu initially mistakes the resurrected Qian Wushuang for an evil spirit impersonating his father and attacks him alongside the Worship Hall. He recognizes Qian Wushuang only after seeing his pure angel martial soul, then apologizes for the misunderstanding. 6 7 Qian Wushuang’s return repeatedly overturns their family hierarchy: Qian Daoliu is publicly scolded, challenged, and even attacked by his revived father. 10 15 17

Following the revival of further ancestors, Qian Daoliu becomes one of the seven Peerless Douluo of Spirit Hall’s Supreme Elder Hall, holding the position of Supreme Sixth Elder. 177 He monitors Spirit Hall’s rapidly expanding combat strength and recognizes the extraordinary impact that Qian Renheng and Qian Renxue have had on the organization within less than a year. 144

He is deeply concerned with consequences and secrecy, particularly the political implications of Qian Wushuang’s resurrection and the exposure of another Peerless Douluo within Spirit Hall. 11 He also takes his grandchildren’s safety seriously, remaining by their side while they absorb dangerous spirit rings and planning to use Spirit Hall’s resources to strengthen their spiritual power. 23
