Background / History

Qian Wuji was a legendary Spirit Hall powerhouse and the younger brother of Qian Wushuang. During their era, the two Rank 99 Peerless Douluo brought Spirit Hall to a peak of glory; Qian Wuji believed that, excluding his father Qian Yanyan, even Qian Wushuang and Qian Daoliu together could not defeat him. 25 82

He died young after contracting an unidentified illness that continuously drained both his Soul Power and life force. Spirit Hall’s doctors and healing-type Soul Masters could neither diagnose nor cure it. 25 53 54

His burial was marked by eccentric instructions involving red roses. Much later, Qian Renheng used the Death Realm to restore Qian Wuji’s remains and resurrect him, though the effort exhausted Qian Renheng. 26 27

Following his revival, Qian Wuji struggled briefly with the passage of time and the generations of relatives now surrounding him. He soon accepted the new era, resumed his place within the Qian Clan, and revived his old ambitions concerning the continent’s power structure. 28 30

Personality

Qian Wuji is exuberant, proud, and intensely self-assured about his strength. He enjoys recounting tales of his former invincibility, including his claim that his ninth soul skill could control more than a dozen Titled Douluo. 79

He is also restless and indulgent, frequently seeking excuses to leave Spirit City, travel, or pursue treasure. His family openly regards him as unreliable when unsupervised, particularly after he led Qian Renheng and Qian Renxue on a prolonged trip that included repeated thefts from the Heaven Dou Imperial Palace. 45 99 111 118

Despite his antics, he is deeply protective of his younger relatives. He personally escorts Qian Renheng on dangerous soul-ring hunts, serves as a sparring partner for both siblings, and deliberately restrains himself so they can gain practical combat experience. 54 56 165 166
