Background / History

Xiao Wu’s identity as a hundred-thousand-year soul beast in human form is exposed when Tang Si recognizes her upon arriving at Shrek Academy. The revelation leaves her terrified, as she had already feared Tang Si’s foresight would uncover her secret. 25

During Spirit Hall’s confrontation with Shrek, Xiao Wu reveals that Spirit Hall killed her mother. She openly expresses her desire for revenge, escalating her hostility toward Bibi Dong and Spirit Hall. 26

Tang San places himself between Xiao Wu and those seeking to harm her, declaring that they must step over his corpse first. Tang Hao later creates an escape route for Tang San and Xiao Wu by detonating his soul rings. 25 27
