When Hashirama retaliates and begins overwhelming Madara, Izuna initially believes his brother cannot lose. He joins the battle only after Madara shows clear signs of fatigue, manifesting Susanoo alongside Madara and Yan to defeat Hashirama's Wood Human Technique 1.
