Background / History

During the decisive Senju–Uchiha battle, Tobirama attempted to assassinate Uchiha Izuna with Flying Thunder God Slash. Uchiha Yan intercepted the attack and kicked Tobirama through three trees, leaving him severely injured. His condition drove Hashirama into a reckless confrontation with Madara and the three Uchiha fighters. 1

Tobirama survived and attended the Senju–Uchiha council in a wheelchair only days later. He accepted the practical need for a joint village and proposed seeking resources from the daimyo in exchange for protection, but opposed Madara becoming the village's leader, arguing that Hashirama was stronger and should lead. 3

Following Konoha's founding, Tobirama repeatedly sought to preserve Senju influence in the new government. He attempted to secure offices for his clan under the Three Departments system, only to be reprimanded by Hashirama for prioritizing clan interests over Konoha. 5

As the Uchiha's political and military standing rose, Tobirama began secret human experiments in an effort to inherit Hashirama's power and uncover the secret of Wood Release.
