Background / History

The Reverse Birth Triple Layer was the Three One Sect's foremost cultivation art. Its practitioners sought to use it for ascension and immortality, but the technique was ultimately exposed as incapable of healing old wounds or granting true immortality. Zuo Ruotong's failed attempt to advance in his youth left him dependent on maintaining the technique continuously for decades. 12 13 15

Qiao Luo first acquired the First Layer through the inheritance of a chakra reincarnation body from the Under One Person World. That incarnation had trained under Zuo Ruotong, but died before reaching the Second Layer. Its accumulated qi cultivation experience fused seamlessly with Qiao Luo's chakra. 12 13

After returning to the Under One Person World, Qiao Luo healed Zuo Ruotong and received his master's personal instruction on the Second Layer's reconstruction process. He repeatedly transformed and rebuilt his own body, reaching the Second Layer in one night. 15 16

Qiao Luo completed the Third Layer by using the Sheep Talisman to emulate a Yang Spirit. This allowed his soul to guide a fully qi-transformed body back into physical form, bypassing the normal prerequisite of cultivating a true Yang Spirit. 18

Upon returning to the Three One Sect, Qiao Luo's white qi manifestation convinced many disciples that he had become an immortal. He later continued refining the technique's medical and absorptive applications before bringing it back to the ninja world. 17 18 35

Manifestation

When activated at a high level, Reverse Birth Triple Layer turns the user's body pale white and surrounds it with clouds of white qi. The user can disperse into qi, float in the air, and reform their body from the qi cloud. 16 17 19
