Overview

The Supreme Purity Domain is an inheritance secret realm originally known in the Cultivation World as the Lesser Spirit Realm. It later reveals itself as part of the legacy of the ancient Supreme Purity Sect, granting cultivation methods, access privileges, artifacts, and sect statuses to selected cultivators 70 171 172.

Although treated by cultivators as a vast world, it is not a true world. Qingxu reveals that the domain is an evolved world inside the True Spirit Pearl, a magical treasure created by Master Taiqing / Supreme Purity True Person 177.

History

Supreme Purity Sect’s Destruction

The domain survived the calamity that destroyed the Supreme Purity Sect. According to Senior Turtle, the Demon Race and Devil Race jointly launched a rapid surprise attack on the Supreme Purity Heaven Domain, destroying it and eradicating the sect. Supreme Purity True Person disappeared, while human reinforcements arrived only after the attackers had withdrawn. Qin Huaian suspects that human traitors may have delayed the response, but this is not confirmed 175 879.

Qingxu was sent away and charged with surviving rather than seeking revenge. Unable to cultivate as a transformed artifact spirit, he resolved to preserve his master’s inheritance through the surviving domain 176.

Lesser Spirit Realm Era

Before the inheritance appeared, the domain was known as the Lesser Spirit Realm. It opened once every thirty years and allowed human Qi Refining cultivators to enter and gather low-grade spirit herbs, with little else considered special 227.

The domain had existed in the Cultivation World for 5,000 years, yet cultivators never determined its full size or reached its borders 83.

Supreme Purity Hall Inheritance Opens

After cultivators climbed the Thousand-Step Staircase in the inheritance space, the Supreme Purity Hall announced regular inheritance openings:

This announcement marked the domain’s transformation from a resource-gathering secret realm into a major inheritance site 70 71.

The Lesser Spirit Realm was later renamed the Supreme Purity Domain, while the Spirit Realm Mountains were renamed Supreme Purity Mountain 76.

Subsequent openings did not follow a predictable schedule. The domain opened ahead of schedule again less than four years after a previous opening 148.

Foundation Establishment Trial and Attack

During the Foundation Establishment Realm inheritance trial, 10,800 cultivators from 108 worlds competed in the inheritance space 171. Rewards included the Supreme Purity Ascension Scripture, Heaven-grade methods, artifacts, disciple status, access rights, and Teaching Hall privileges 171 172.

The trial included combat against demonic beasts and Devil Race cultivators. Its rankings were displayed both inside the inheritance space and outside at Supreme Purity Mountain 150 151.

The domain was attacked while Qin Huaian was receiving his reward, causing cultivators in inheritance rooms to be forcibly teleported out 172 173. Qingxu believed the distant attacker was an enemy of the Supreme Purity Sect but did not know its identity 175.

Disappearance

After the attack, cultivators who had marks allowing entry could no longer sense the Supreme Purity Domain or teleport to it 179. Qingxu explains that he must take the domain into hiding; the previous time he hid it, nearly 30,000 years passed before it emerged again 175.

The disappearance caused an uproar among human sects because the domain had become a crucial source of inheritances, spirit herbs, and cultivation opportunities 179 227.

Legacy After Disappearance

Although the domain remained inaccessible, its inherited methods continued to spread. Qingxu gave Qin Huaian cultivation manuals and authorized him, as the sect’s only core disciple, to teach the Supreme Purity Ascension Scripture without the restrictions imposed on other recipients 177 178.

Qin Huaian later shared the scripture in the Violet Thorn Domain, Kun Yuan World, Spirit Rock Island, and the Luo River World. It eventually spread throughout the Violet Thorn Great World 409 412 641 768 902.

Access

Teleportation Marks

Cultivators who reached certain steps in the inheritance trials received willow-leaf-shaped marks on their wrists. These marks allowed them to teleport into the Supreme Purity Domain from anywhere 70 95.

The marks reflected different qualifications: Min Yingzhu received a green mark for her access reward, He Zhiping’s mark turned silver-white when he became a registered disciple, and Qin Huaian’s turned purple-gold when he became a core disciple 171 172. After Qingxu hid the domain, holders could no longer use their marks to reach it 177 179.

Cultivators brought in as guests can travel independently rather than remaining with their sponsor. During the earlier Qi Refinement inheritance arrangements, Tian Cuicui described a three-month stay for guests and said that, unlike mark holders, they could not leave early at will; the later Foundation Establishment rewards specify two-month guest stays 101 171 172.

The Supreme Purity Hall is the inheritance palace that appears after the Lesser Spirit Realm’s transformation. It contains the inheritance spaces and announces the rules for Qi Refinement and Foundation Establishment entrants 70 71.

The inheritance space can impose powerful restrictions: while Huang Kai was inside, his master’s remnant consciousness could not communicate with him from the Black Ring 174.

Teaching Hall

The Teaching Hall provides cultivation guidance to qualified disciples and is included among the benefits for Supreme Purity Sect disciples 103 171 172.

Tian Cuicui’s rise is partly linked to her support from the Teaching Hall, and other top disciples seek her guidance after obtaining the Supreme Purity Ascension Scripture 120.
