Background / History

Makoto was an upper-middle-class man in a cyberpunk world whose body was already in poor condition. Three days before YGGDRASIL shut down, he spent heavily on medical support, cash-shop items, equipment, mercenaries, and World-Class Items in preparation for a possible transmigration. He created an idealized avatar: a 185-centimeter white-haired, golden-eyed human man. 1 2

Under the player name Amon Nicola, Makoto exploited hidden game knowledge to clear the Field of Final Blood, obtain the Gospel of Judas, and unlock the path to the hidden Inverted God class. He purchased and assembled an immense stockpile of equipment, World-Class Items, NPCs, mercenaries, and a guild base named Novas Aetir. 3 10

At YGGDRASIL’s shutdown, Makoto used the Ring of the Eternal Serpent to raise his level cap. A planner error in experience calculations enabled him to reach Lv. 110 before Novas Aetir and its inhabitants were transferred into another world. 11 30

After the transfer, he initially acted as Amon Nicola, Supreme Being of Novas Aetir. He later adopted his original name, Higashino Makoto, and a black-haired, black-eyed disguise to move among humans without attracting attention from his YGGDRASIL identity. 12 13 36
