Background / History

Xiao Wu enrolled at Notting Academy as a work-study student after already obtaining her first soul ring. She challenged Xiao Chenyu for the position of academy boss, intending to end the mistreatment of work-study students by his followers. Although Xiao Chenyu initially attempted a peaceful resolution, her pride led her to insist on a fight. 12 13

Xu Qianqian interrupted the duel before either side could escalate matters. She apologized on Xiao Chenyu's behalf with one hundred gold soul coins, which Xiao Wu accepted, and Tang San persuaded her to abandon the dispute over the boss position. 13

Xiao Wu later accompanied Tang San to the library to seek Xu Qianqian's advice on his planned soul-ring path.
