Spider-Man changed into the new gear Tony had given him while watching Lu Mingyu, who was staring blankly into space not far away. He thought, As expected of someone so gifted. I never thought he'd be this calm at a time like this.

Tony's training was usually brutal. He had the Iron Legion under his command, and Tony would responsibly send twenty Iron Man suits into the training ground, where they would collectively attack Spider-Man according to his programming. Spider-Man had to deal with all twenty suits while still conserving his stamina. It sounded simple, but these were all newly developed suits by Tony. Every suit represented a different ability, leaving Spider-Man utterly helpless.

Faced with so many suits with different abilities, Spider-Man was powerless. He failed to complete the mission every time and could only defeat one or two suits at most.

Spider-Man did not know when Lu Mingyu had arrived at Avengers Tower, so he had no idea whether Lu Mingyu had gone through training before. But thinking about it, Lu Mingyu should be able to complete the mission easily. Or perhaps he would knock the suits flat before they even activated.

"What's wrong?" Lu Mingyu sensed Spider-Man's gaze and asked curiously, "Why are you fully geared up?"

Spider-Man explained helplessly, "The training is really hard, especially after they increased the difficulty. I haven't completed it even once since I started. I've just been stuck at one stage. No matter how hard I try, I can never do it."

Lu Mingyu patted his chest and said, "It's fine. You have me this time. The two of us will definitely complete the mission."

Spider-Man was especially happy to see Lu Mingyu's confident smile. That was right—today, he had a teammate. Their abilities complemented each other, so they should be able to pass the test easily. But Tony had said today's training would be twice as difficult, so he had no idea what would happen.

Stark emerged from the laboratory and looked at the fully equipped Spider-Man. "Ready?"

"Ready, Mr. Stark." As he spoke, Spider-Man patted his chest.

Lu Mingyu looked at Tony, wanting to ask what he was supposed to do. After all, he was still wearing the pajamas he had changed into after entering Avengers Tower. He did not want to fight in pajamas; they would be far too inconvenient.

Tony looked at Lu Mingyu and said, "Come with me."

Encouraged by Spider-Man's gaze, Lu Mingyu left the room with Tony. Before leaving, Tony told Spider-Man, "Go wait at the training ground."

Clearly, Spider-Man and Lu Mingyu would be working together to complete the test this time. The thought alone made Spider-Man especially excited. Lu Mingyu's power was truly absurd.

Lu Mingyu and Tony walked through Avengers Tower for about ten minutes before reaching a relatively spacious laboratory. Many discarded suits were scattered around, making it clear that Tony had conducted countless experiments here.

With a smug expression, Stark said, "I specially created a new-generation suit for you. To make you run faster, I removed the entire weapons system and flight system. You could say that while this suit is more understated than the others, it's my crowning achievement. This armor has no other features. Its sole purpose is to keep you cool and accelerate you while you're moving at high speed. You could call it a cooling-and-acceleration effect. It should be very practical for you."

While making this suit, Tony had tried to install weapons and small lasers, but the results had always been poor. He had naively assumed that Lu Mingyu could attack while moving at high speed, but he had been wrong. Adding weapons would have an enormous effect on the suit—or rather, on Lu Mingyu's speed. It might even explode during high-speed movement due to unstable energy.

Those were all potential dangers, so Tony removed every other feature and maximized the suit's acceleration and cooling effects.

Looking at Tony's masterpiece, Lu Mingyu was so delighted that he did not know what to say. He had once imagined what it would be like to become Iron Man, but he had never imagined that he would own a suit of armor made exclusively for him. As Tony pulled away the white cloth, Lu Mingyu's expression grew exaggerated.

It was a dark red suit of armor. At the center of its chest was a small blue-violet lightning bolt. Though small, the light it contained was dazzling. Faint blue-violet light also shone from every seam in the armor. Those lights looked like lightning, but they were actually devices meant to reduce friction and heat. Such devices covered the entire suit, making it the safest possible armor for Lu Mingyu.

Several lightning emblems were set into the headpiece and boots. If Lu Mingyu was not mistaken, Tony had designed them based on the blue lightning around his body. Lu Mingyu liked them very much, though no matter how he looked at it, he felt that this armor had something in common with Spider-Man's new gear.

But the most eye-catching part was the eyes of the helmet. There was a blue-violet, visor-like pane there. Lu Mingyu knew that material was definitely not glass. Beneath it, the armor perfectly covered the nose and mouth.

Lu Mingyu truly loved it. Although this suit was completely different from Flash's, he still loved it. Because it was his own suit. Lu Mingyu excitedly thanked him, though he was even more eager to put the armor on. Tony smiled at Lu Mingyu. "This is a gift for you, and repayment for saving my life. Though I don't really want to admit that you saved me, without you, I truly wouldn't have survived until now."

"The issue we need to deal with in the future is Quicksilver. What do you know about him?" Stark asked.

Lu Mingyu thought for a moment before answering, "He runs fast."

"Isn't that obvious? Did you really need to think about it?" What left Tony most speechless was that Lu Mingyu had actually paused to think before saying Quicksilver ran fast. Was Quicksilver's ability really that hard for him to figure out?

Lu Mingyu scratched his head awkwardly. Strictly speaking, Quicksilver was indeed fast, but he had some other abilities as well. For example, Quicksilver could travel to the past or the future, though he could not replace anyone. As for that ability, the current Quicksilver did not have it—at least, the Quicksilver from the movies definitely did not.

He knew this world was entirely based on the movie universe's settings. Otherwise, Tony would not look like Robert Downey Jr. Moreover, the current timeline directly followed the events of Doctor Strange. Therefore, Lu Mingyu could clearly determine that, to him, the current Quicksilver was merely fast and nowhere near capable of threatening his life.

However, that dark blade was a troublesome matter.

Tony looked at Lu Mingyu. "Are you sure he's only fast?"

"Yeah. Right now, he can only seriously injure me. He can't kill me."

"I'm going to train you. I hope that one day, you'll be able to defeat him. You have to admit, a dead man coming back to life is pretty frightening."

Lu Mingyu's gaze turned especially serious. Looking at the armor before him, he asked, "Can I call this suit Barry Allen?"

"No."

"..."

"Why?"

"Because I want to commemorate someone I can't talk about."

Tony looked into Lu Mingyu's earnest eyes, sighed, and said, "Fine."
