Yuan Jie is one of Yuan Yan's Three-Selves Dao-body incarnations, born from the Primordial Gourd Vine through the lodgment of Yuan Yan's selves. Though their minds are linked at their origin, Yuan Jie acts independently and is entrusted with responsibilities suited to the World and Space-Time Great Daos. 28

After attaining Great Luo Golden Immortal, Yuan Jie explored Mount Buzhou separately from the other Dao bodies. His discoveries included the Yinyang Cauldron, Cosmos Pearl, Dream Millet, Bloodsoul Fruit Tree, and Taiyin Vase. Following the group's redistribution of resources, he received the World Cauldron and retained the Cosmos Pearl, which best suited his Dao. 19

Yuan Jie joined Yuan Yan, Yuan Lun, and Yuan Ling in cleansing the Three Clans Battlefields. He refined baleful qi, resentment, corpses, and residual Dao power into world power, then used it to mend shattered earth veins. Over thirty-six epochs, this work earned him substantial Heavenly Dao merit and advanced him to the middle stage of Great Luo Golden Immortal. 29 30

He was later ambushed by the perfected Great Luo Golden Immortal Netherworld Serpent Ancestor. Despite a two-stage cultivation disadvantage, Yuan Jie held his own for several hundred years using the World Cauldron, Cosmos Pearl, World Dao, and Space-Time Dao, while secretly summoning the other Three Yuans. Following the group’s later seclusion, Yuan Jie reached the late stage of Great Luo Golden Immortal and joined Yuan Lun and Yuan Ling in repairing the Western Continent. Yuan Jie and Yuan Lun subsequently returned to the Great Yan Blessed Land to guard the fusion of Treasure-Dropping Money with the two Yin-Yang Great Dao Furnaces. He prioritizes repairing damaged earth veins, improving formations for local conditions, and leaving avatars to oversee long-term projects. 50 51 He also takes a leading role in explaining the Western Continent’s condition and organizing the Four Yuans’ plans there. 44

Yuan Jie is highly cooperative with Yuan Yan, Yuan Lun, and Yuan Ling. He treats their collective resources, cultivation insights, and responsibilities as belonging to a shared foundation rather than competing for individual advantage. 19 190 208

Targeted for the World Cauldron and Cosmos Pearl, Yuan Jie fought a perfected Great Luo Golden Immortal for centuries. His resistance and secret coordination enabled the Four Yuans to set a killing formation and eliminate the attacker. 30 31 32 33 34

Western Continent Development

Alongside Yuan Lun and Yuan Ling, Yuan Jie established a foothold in the Supreme Awakening Range, repaired damaged leylines, and developed formations capable of continuously transforming chaos qi into resources for restoration. 43 44 45 46 49 50 51

His later work expanded this project into a continent-wide Earth Vein Network. He helped connect restored earth veins, stabilize the Heaven-Earth Origin-Returning Formation, distribute its authority among the Yingzhou leaders, and use its converted Origin Force to elevate the Western Continent beyond mere recovery. 147 152 167

The network's activation involved Yuan Jie, the other five leaders, their Corpse Dao Bodies, and the lineage's experts acting through assigned positions and numerous avatars. The accompanying formation reached Hunyuan Great Firmament Golden Immortal-level power, making the restoration infrastructure a major source of both cultivation resources and factional deterrence. 146 166

As the project neared completion, Yuan Yan planned to finish the remaining barren land within the formation's coverage while leaving Mount Sumeru and the other unrepaired Western areas to Jieyin. Western completion was to precede the conspicuous reconstruction of the Northern Continent's earth-vein network, reducing the risk of rival interference. 296

Purple Firmament Palace

Yuan Jie entered the Inner Chaos with the Four Yuans as a perfected Great Luo Golden Immortal. His World-Purifying White Lotus helped shield the group from chaos qi as they reached the Purple Firmament Palace. 64

Hongjun's lectures subsequently helped Yuan Jie and the other Yuans refine their foundations, comprehend the twelve-layer Great Firmament system, and advance toward the Hunyuan realm. Yuan Jie reached the Twelfth-Layer Great Firmament Golden Immortal realm before later entering the Primordial Golden Immortal realm. 70 71 104

During the second lecture, he participated in refining the Three Corpses Reliance Method and rose to late-stage Primordial Golden Immortal. After the third lecture, he collected three batches of treasures from Treasure-Distribution Rock and remained with the group while Yuan Yan claimed the rock itself. 133 134 198 199

Creation Azure Lotus Conflict

When Yuan Yan sought the Twenty-Fourth-Rank Creation Azure Lotus on Mount Buzhou, Yuan Jie joined Yuan Lun and Yuan Ling in blocking the Three Pure Ones. Their Innate Three Powers Formation elevated their combined strength to the Early Primordial Golden Immortal level and forced the Three Pure Ones to withdraw. 82

Three Corpse Cultivation and Lineage Expansion

Yuan Jie severed his Obsession Corpse with the Chaos Gourd and assigned it to cultivate the Formation Dao. Together with the other Yuans, he helped refine the Three Corpses Reliance Method, train the Yingzhou Immortal Island Lineage, preach to its members, and produce cultivation resources. 102 111 133 144

Yingzhou Commerce Association

Yuan Jie was one of the principal hosts and founders involved in the establishment of the Yingzhou Commerce Association. The association circulated pills, formations, treasures, and cultivation resources throughout the Primordial World, substantially increasing the lineage's Fortune and influence. 169 173 176

He and his Dao Bodies assisted in the final preparations after completing their assigned work. The association's founding and the establishment of its currency system brought an approximately forty-percent increase in the leaders' and lineage's Fortune, as well as substantial cultivation gains without an immediate realm breakthrough. 168 176

Treasure Redistribution and Origin Dao Furnace

Yuan Jie joined the six leaders in pooling their treasures as shared family assets. The allocation gave him the Qiankun Cauldron and Cosmos World-Defining Sword, while the completed Primordial Five Directional Banners went to Yuan Lun. The group also established private and public treasury rules and agreed to lend one another important treasures for Dao comprehension. 208 209 210

Ten Thousand Immortals Formation Diagram Heist

During the fall of the Immortal Court, Yuan Jie secretly coordinated with Yuan Yan, Yuan Lun, and Yuan Ling to steal the original Ten Thousand Immortals Formation Diagram. His Evil Corpse's hidden Space-Time Dao created a reflection of the treasure, while layered formations and false traces of the Chaos Bell and Primordial River-Luo Grand Formation diverted the Three Pure Ones and Earth Court. 282 283

The real formation diagram was successfully concealed on Yingzhou Immortal Island, where its principles could be studied to improve Yuan Jie's Formation Dao and the Heaven-Earth Origin-Returning Formation. 286

Primordial Dao-Proving

Yuan Jie's debts to heaven and earth remained a consideration in Yuan Yan's later negotiations with Heavenly Dao Hongjun: repayment of those debts was one proposed form of compensation, alongside an innate supreme treasure or immense Merit and Fortune. Yuan Yan also sought access to the Jade Disc of Creation to accelerate the cultivation of Yuan Jie and the other leaders. 322

Later, the planned completion of the group's undertaking was expected to provide enough Merit and enlightenment for Yuan Jie, Yuan Lun, and Yuan Ling to cross into Primordial Daluo Golden Immortal. This remained an anticipated result until their eventual successful Dao-proving. 333 341

After completely fusing his Three Corpse Dao Bodies, Yuan Jie manifested his perfected Hunyuan Dao Fruit and Merit Golden Wheel, communed with heaven and earth, and repaid his karmic obligations. He publicly proclaimed his attainment of Primordial Daluo Golden Immortal, followed in succession by Yuan Lun and Yuan Ling. 341

Yuan Yan urged the newly advancing cultivators to prove their Daos without delay and then accompany him into the Inner Chaos, where abundant chaos qi could sustain their ongoing transformation. Yuan Jie accepted this course rather than remaining in the Primordial World to discuss their achievement. 341
