Background

Taiyi is a Top-Tier Innate Divine nurtured by the Sun Star and its co-lord with his elder brother, Di Jun. Before founding the Demon Clan, he traveled the Primordial World challenging powerful opponents, becoming known as the strongest Great Firmament Golden Immortal because the Chaos Bell made him nearly unbeatable among cultivators of the same realm 104.

His long conflict with the Twelve Ancestral Witches began before the Demon Clan’s formal establishment. The Witches repeatedly targeted the brothers as destined enemies, while Taiyi and Di Jun came to regard the Witch Clan as an obstacle that had to be overcome for their Dao paths to remain unblemished 78 250.

Personality

Taiyi is proud, direct, and intensely battle-driven. Repeated retreats from the Ancestral Witches deeply humiliate him; at his lowest point, he would rather die fighting and take enemies with him than endure further defeat 157.

Despite his impulsive temper, he accepts Di Jun’s long-term strategies when the situation demands restraint. Conflict with the Witch Clan

Taiyi and Di Jun are discovered and besieged on the Sun Star by the newly advanced Twelve Ancestral Witches. Although the brothers escape by trapping several Witches with the Primordial River-Luo Grand Formation, the encounter establishes the Witch Clan as their central enemy 124 127.

After Hongjun’s second lecture, Taiyi reaches the Primordial Golden Immortal realm, but the conflict escalates. His Benevolent Corpse Dao Body is almost destroyed by five Ancestral Witches, and Taiyi burns Primordial Origin to drive the Chaos Bell hard enough to rescue it and escape 134 142.

Demon Clan Establishment

Refusing to remain suppressed, Taiyi follows Di Jun’s plan to create hidden avatar-led factions throughout the Primordial World. Their avatars recruit or destroy smaller races to gather cultivators for the Primordial River-Luo Grand Formation, though this expansion quietly accumulates Bloodshed Karmic Force 158 160.

Taiyi and Di Jun later formally establish the Demon Clan, receiving immense heavenly Merit and Fortune. Taiyi advances to the Late-Stage Primordial Golden Immortal realm alongside Di Jun 214 217.

Defeat, Escape, and the Demon Realm

The Demon Clan’s formation cannot withstand the Pangu True Body manifested through the Twelve Heavenly Fiendish Gods Formation. Taiyi and his Dao Bodies burn their origins to strengthen the Primordial River-Luo Grand Formation, but its power still falls short of the Hunyuan realm 226.

When surrounded after the battle, Taiyi initially intends to sacrifice himself to cripple the Ancestral Witches. Di Jun refuses to leave him behind; the brothers instead use Merit to repair their Dao wounds, deceive their enemies with apparently unstable treasures, and escape together through the Chaos Bell 230 231.

Taiyi subsequently opens a Middle Great Thousand World in Inner Chaos. After five Epochs of refining its laws and origin, the world becomes the Demon Realm, giving the Demon Clan a hidden refuge from which to recover 246 247.

Rebuilding the Demon Clan

Taiyi helps reclaim scattered Demon Clan members, protects the Thirty-Three Heavens, and supports the clan’s territorial expansion into the Southern Continent. While Di Jun focuses on governance and the Zhou Tian Star Formation, Taiyi acts as the Demon Clan’s principal military force 254 255 266.

During Earth Court’s attack on the Immortal Court, Taiyi freezes space-time with the Eastern Emperor Bell and helps extract nearly half of the besieged Immortal Court forces. He sacrifices his Benevolent and Evil Corpse Dao Bodies to break the Earth Court blockade and escape with Di Jun and the rescued cultivators 285.
