Nuwa was born from Innate Lesser Yin Qi, while her elder brother Fuxi was born from Innate Lesser Yang Qi. Their complementary origins gave them a natural affinity with Yuan Yan’s Yin-Yang origin when they first met on Mount Buzhou. 6 20 21

Before forging her Dao, Nuwa lived within a Primordial Formation at her birthplace with Fuxi. When Yuan Yan inadvertently discovered the formation, she correctly judged that his arrival was not a lethal threat but potentially a fortuitous karmic connection. She and Fuxi opened the formation and met him peacefully. 20

Yuan Yan’s subsequent Dao exposition enabled Nuwa to identify and forge her personal path: the Creation Dao. The exchange established a lasting karmic debt and friendship between Nuwa, Fuxi, and Yuan Yan. 22 23
