Background / History

Guan Yue was present when Yun Feng's second martial soul, the Silver Dragon Spear, awakened. He proposed that her two exceptionally powerful martial souls may have awakened separately because her young body could not withstand both at once. After personally handling her Golden Dragon Spear, he discovered that it drained both life energy and Soul Power, leading him to conclude that it had absorbed her millennium soul spirit. 4 5

Recognizing Yun Feng's potential, Guan Yue offered to accept her as a disciple. She refused out of loyalty to Nangong Yi and Jiang Zhanheng, the first people to guide her. Rather than take offense, Guan Yue respected her decision and arranged to instruct her whenever possible. 5
