Background

The God Realm began as Azure Cloud Master’s Dao Domain after he established the Divine Dao. Although it initially contained real mountains, waters, and Seven-Colored Divine Light, it was still too small to be considered a true heaven and earth. Azure Cloud Master recognized it as the prototype of a future realm comparable to the Immortal, Monster, Demon, and Ghost Realms. 618 619

The nascent realm was bound to Azure Cloud Master’s Dao Domain and natal magic treasure. Its growth depended on his Divine Dao comprehension, Merit, Vow Power, and Dao Heart; as a result, its transformations followed his will. 714 728

Azure Cloud Master opened the divine gates and elevated the God Realm into the Void. Gods gathered devoted living beings at their Invested Territories, bringing more than 200 million people into the ascending realm. The transition caused destructive Void Storms, but Azure Cloud Master and the seven True Gods stabilized the land. 925 936

After its ascension, Zhang Yang accepted responsibility for planning the God Realm’s development. He proposed that it depart from the single-Dao model of the older realms by assigning its continents to different Great Daos and encouraging migration, trade, and competition between their practitioners. 940 941 963

Divine Dao Foundation

Divine Power is formed by combining Vow Power with a Divine Dao Heart. Because Vow Power is born from living beings’ gratitude, worship, and faith, the realm’s power is closely linked to the beings protected by its Divine Spirits. 728 731

• A Divine Adept combines Divine Power into a Divine Physique, gaining exceptional offensive and defensive ability but lacking the ability to fly. 812
• A Divine Soldier can use the Laws of Heaven and Earth to ride the air briefly and develop stronger ultimate techniques. 812
• A Divine General possesses a fully developed Divine Physique, can truly fly, and can wield Divine Dao ultimate techniques. 812

The Divine Dao was deliberately withdrawn from the non-Divine continents so that other cultivation paths would not be assimilated into it. Immortal, Monster, Ghost, and Demon Dao practitioners could therefore cultivate their own paths within the same realm. 973

By the time of the First Realm era, the God Realm contained numerous Powers of the Great Dao and a complete Reincarnation system, making it a miniature version of heaven and earth. 1548

Reincarnation

The God Realm initially lacked Ghost Dao power and could not safely adopt the Ghost Realm’s Reincarnation directly, as doing so would clash with the Divine Dao and exceed the realm’s ability to withstand the conflict. 974

The Netherworld Ghost Emperor planted a Ghost Dao Flower in Ghost Continent. Its seed spread Ghost Dao power throughout the God Realm, granting the realm a preliminary Reincarnation function. Azure Cloud Master then severed the connection to the Ghost Realm, allowing newly dead ghosts to be drawn into the God Realm instead. 975

• Netherworld Ghost Emperor / Sovereign — Overseer of Ghost Continent and the God Realm’s Reincarnation. His later breakthrough to Ghost Sovereign strengthened both Ghost Dao and the realm’s foundation. 996 1458

Heaven-Earth Unified Grand Market

Zhang Yang planned the God Realm as a Heaven-Earth Unified Grand Market: a hub connecting realms for trade, travel, inheritance, and Dao exchanges. The first planned city facilities were an auction house, Teleportation Array, and bounty area. 964 1090

Visitors to the market are welcome to seek treasures, discuss the Dao, and conduct trade. Slaughter and plunder remain subject to consequences under First Realm rules. 2010

Defenses

• Divine Lord’s authority — Azure Cloud Master can suppress and stabilize the God Realm against Void Storms and hostile experts. 936 939
• Eternal Will phantoms — Before departing, the Divine Lord placed Eternal Will over each of the seven continents and the Heaven-Earth Unified Grand Market. These manifestations emerge when power exceeds the local limits of the rules. 1679

Later History

The God Realm became one of the constituent realms of the First Realm when Zhang Yang named the greater heaven and earth encompassing the Immortal Cultivation, Immortal, Monster, Demon, Ghost, and God Realms. 1808 1809

Its identity as a distinct realm persisted within the First Realm, but its ultimate role changed when Zhang Yang reorganized heaven and earth. The God Realm was dismantled along with the other realms and transformed into a star, while Azure Cloud Continent became the site of the Heavenly Court. 2066
