The restoration of earth veins is the central long-term undertaking of the Western Lands. Zhunti, Jieyin, Zhu Yin, the White Tiger Clan, Western Teaching disciples, and other western powers all contributed to this effort. 6 128

• The Twelve Earthly Branches established by the Ancestor Witches aided the recovery of the Western Lands' ley line spiritual essence. 44

Major Events

Establishment of the Western Teaching

Zhunti and Jieyin established the Western Teaching after declaring their intent to revive the Western Lands, enlighten living beings, and relieve suffering and tribulation. 70 Their twenty-four Great Vows were accepted by the Heavenly Dao, allowing both to attain Sagehood. 71

The resulting providence transformed the region: damaged earth veins recovered, spirit veins formed, and countless new Spirit Lands emerged. 71

Thirty-Six Heavens

Burning Lamp fused the Sea-Calming Divine Pearls with the Heaven and Earth Ruler to create thirty-six Minor Thousand Worlds. Each world merged into the Western Lands, expanding the region and strengthening the Primordial Wilderness' origin. 97

Burning Lamp's achievement also elevated Vulture Spirit Mountain and accelerated the recovery of western earth veins. 98

Shelter During Calamities

Zhu Yin ordered the gathering of spiritual roots, immortal herbs, and endangered races before the great calamities, intending to preserve their existence within the Western Lands. 108

The event restored balance between yin and yang and brought a surge of fortune to the region, causing other powers to reassess the West's growing strength. 113 115

Western Netherworld

Zhu Yin established the Western Netherworld and its Eighteen Levels of Hell after obtaining Lady Pingxin's acknowledgment. 141 The Western Netherworld expanded the Netherworld's capacity for judgment and punishment while benefiting the evolution of heaven and earth. 141 142
