Power Progression

The following milestones track the organization’s systems and collective capabilities, rather than an individual cultivation realm.

Stage / Realm / Level Chapter Notes
All-Knowing Eye 315 337 A vast knowledge repository and predictive calculation system. Its model remains unreliable against gods, but can anticipate a New God’s movements.
Omnipotent Eye / Embryonic Heavenly Dao 336 337 373 Built upon the All-Knowing Eye using the Heaven Realm Core seized from the Abyss. Recorded knowledge is brought into an operational structure constructed through laws.
Expanded surveillance and wartime coverage 339 After its Heavenly Dao Plan is exposed, the Tower accelerates the Eye’s coverage and prepares for opposition from the entire world.
Truth Sorcery 361 364 The Eye gains consciousness-targeting attacks through Law Space. A mass purge kills 123 Evil Gods.
Plane consolidation / Black Tower Continent 367 377 Small and medium planes are fused into a primordial continent; large planes orbit it in rune-forming paths. The Eye suppresses destructive merger shockwaves.
Public Omnipotent Eye system 404 Talent assessment, personalized meditation methods, elemental conversion, and systematic education become broadly accessible, including to serfs and beggars.
Immortal Path model 417 Leo Bogado uses the Eye’s full computational power and tens of thousands of Void Wizards to complete a Law-sharing model in three days. Dao Lords surrender primary Law authority to the system.
Abolition of the Dao Lord system 418 Sixth-Ring wizards can seek Seventh-Ring advancement through shared Laws and Enlightenment Diagrams without becoming subordinate servants or undergoing Dao Strife.
False Ninth-Ring force 424 The Tower fields powerhouses whose strength depends on the Eye. Their personal Law models remain their own, and replacements can be cultivated after their deaths.
Third transformation of the Omnipotent Eye 426 Following its creation and the Elemental Plane’s integration, the Eye devours Heavenly Demon Realm Consciousness, becoming a weapon beyond Epochal Treasures.
Mass enlightenment and world containment 426 427 428 The Tower seeks to make every mortal at least half-extraordinary, mobilizes collective will, and directs 90% of extraordinary energy toward Black Tower Continent.

History

Early Protection and the White Moon Disaster

The Black Tower conducts crackdowns against Abyss Demons infiltrating the mortal world. It can detect demonic fluctuations on the Prime Material Plane; stronger demons provoke faster intervention, making even a brief Third-Ring incursion exceptionally dangerous 51 66.

Before the Alchemical Ruins catastrophe, the Tower and Warlock Alliance agree to divide the Flameburning Fire: the sparks are assigned to the Tower, while the Flameburning Fire belongs to the Alliance. Eternal Silence’s Remains rejects the agreement, retains Shadow Touch, destroys the ruins, and departs before the Tower’s wizards arrive 75 80.

Lady White Moon’s release turns the Lansya Region, Rodland Region, and parts of surrounding areas into lands of death. The Tower chooses negotiation and containment rather than direct confrontation, and places Eternal Silence’s Remains on its wanted list with a reward involving Sixth-Ring All-Knowing Eye authority 91.

Its containment work includes a Faceless Colossus and a barrier intended to seal the entire disaster area. Survivors still inside would be treated as part of the undead problem rather than rescued. The Tower also annexes the old Flame-Burners Association and takes the Underground City’s population and resources; it later abandons the cavern after the Flameburning Fire’s loss strips away its extraordinary infrastructure 91 95 111 202.

Investigating Undying Xuanming

Yin Ming’s indiscriminate soul harvesting attracts the Tower’s attention. Fourth-Ring investigators visit the Source Plane to determine whether Undying Xuanming threatens wizard civilization’s order. Yin Ming kills them, although their unexplained disappearance still provides information to their employers 297.

Yamalt subsequently uses the All-Knowing Eye’s calculations to intercept Yin Ming’s movements. Pursuit gives way to negotiation: Yin Ming lends three Fake Undying Xuanming Gods in exchange for the Tower’s newest decommissioned Rune Deconstruction Knowledge. Yamalt also offers a small plane, nominal membership, and removal of the Evil God designation, but Yin Ming regards assurances of safety as unreliable 315 318.

War with the Abyss

The Tower invades the Abyssal Core, where its eye totem confronts the Abyssal Will and two Ninth-Ring fluctuations are reported. It obtains a Heaven Realm Core, which becomes the crystal pupil of the Omnipotent Eye 322 329 336 373.

The conflict spreads across resource-bearing planes. The Kelk Plane, containing Black Tower adamantine mines, falls to a Seventh-Ring Demon God and becomes a dead zone. On the Ult Plane, the Tower ambushes the first invading group of mid-level demons; the Ou Plane suffers mass casualties from clashes between Seventh-Ring forces 330.

The Abyss exposes the Tower’s Heavenly Dao Plan and organizes an Evil God coalition against it. Tower leaders reject a public denial, seek support from the Warlock Alliance and Divine Kingdom, and prioritize expanding the Omnipotent Eye 339.

After fourteen years of stalemate, the Tower posts bounties inside the Evil Gods’ own information network, offering partial Eye authority for killing listed targets. Wuxiang Watson answers with a demonstration of Seal Formulas that bypass the Eye’s detection and destroy a protected small plane in under two minutes 355.

Purge and Consolidation

The God of Light’s allegiance gives the Tower access to Divine Kingdom planes and an operative capable of hunting Evil God avatars. Truth Sorcery then kills 123 Evil Gods, with deaths spreading through their connected followers and associates. The God of Light uses the purge as leverage to recruit other gods; only the Moon God and Goddess of Luck refuse 361 364 366.

Both the Tower and Abyss fortify their foundations instead of pursuing unrestricted destruction. The Tower merges planes into Black Tower Continent, while the Abyss contracts into a layered planet. Over the following twenty years, independent Evil Gods are hunted down and the Divine Kingdom and Warlock Alliance disappear as independent powers 367 377.

The Tower offers surviving Evil Gods amnesty, equal treatment as Seventh-Ring members, and a strand of Omnipotent Eye authority. Xu and Yuan later fight in an unseen realm; their injuries manifest as floods, earthquakes, droughts, and abnormal celestial phenomena across their territories. Even Seventh- and Eighth-Ring beings cannot directly comprehend the struggle 377 379.

Civilizational Reform

After three centuries of transformation, mortal kingdoms and Black Tower wizard schools are fully integrated. Abundant resources and public instruction replace the earlier culture of knowledge hoarding. Gene Newman, an escaped serf living as a beggar, receives an assessment of superior wizard talent and enters the Tower’s educational system 404.

Leo Bogado’s Immortal Path Plan centralizes Law authority in the Omnipotent Eye. The subsequent abolition of Dao Lords opens independent Seventh-Ring advancement to Sixth-Ring wizards, while higher power remains dependent on the Tower’s authorization system 417 418.

The reform also supplies a counterattack against Heavenly Demons: the Eye implants a reincarnation art in invading demons, turning their avatars into conduits that convert dark energy into elemental energy and drain the Dark Plane 418.

Response to the Ember World

The Ember World prevents Xu from safely completing his intended replacement of the Heavenly Dao. He responds by mobilizing the entire civilization: Seventh-Ring wizards split off spiritual avatars to command their subordinates, and the Tower begins elevating trillions of mortals into at least half-extraordinary beings 426.

Mother of All Snakes eliminates most Extraordinary Magic Beast races on Black Tower Continent using Bloodline Poison. Their extraordinary resources are redirected toward humanity, which is considered more suitable for incorporation into the Tower’s system 427.

The Omnipotent Eye also concentrates the Ember World’s devouring force into engineered disasters, killing tens of millions and presenting the calamities as evidence of Yin Ming’s threat. Collective hostility, extraordinary energy stored in living bodies, and the Eye’s continuous operation become the spiritual, energetic, and material layers of world containment 427.

Organization and Members

Leadership and Notable Personnel

Member Position / Tier Significance
Xu / Void Silence Ninth-Ring leader Commands the Eye’s authority and ultimately abandons his human body to merge with it. Recovered history identifies him as one of four beings created by True Rune Civilization 373 388 426.
Yamalt / Source of Flame Spirits Eighth-Ring wizard Pursues and negotiates with Yin Ming; participates in the Tower’s strategic council 318 339.
Source of Water Spirits Senior council participant Takes part in discussions following the exposure of the Heavenly Dao Plan 339.
Redbeard Sixth-Ring wizard Participates in the White Moon crisis meeting and later notices the unexplained energy drain caused by Yin Ming’s cultivation 91 218.
Lagg Vaca Sixth-Ring Shadow Crow School wizard Reaches the Sixth-Ring limit through a Wood Spirit inheritance, then remains blocked for three thousand years without a Law 307.
Leo Bogado Seventh-Ring Subordinate God; school leader Designs the Immortal Path Plan and later announces the world-destruction crisis to assembled wizards 412 417 426.
Feidier, the God of Light Former Divine Kingdom leader Brings the Divine Kingdom’s foundation into the Tower. His Eye authority is second only to Xu’s 366 420.
Mother of All Snakes Later wielder of a False Ninth-Ring Law model Former opponent who executes the bloodline extermination campaign with an Omnipotent Eye Totem 360 427.

Schools and Authority

  • Constituent schools: The Tower includes the Shadow Crow School, Thousand Leaves School, and numerous smaller schools operating local towers 307 404 420.
  • Seventh-Ring core access: Becoming a Seventh-Ring Void Wizard provides access to the organization’s true core—the Omnipotent Eye 412.
  • Contribution-based authority: Recruited Evil Gods receive an initial strand of authority and can earn more through service 377.
  • Centralized supremacy: Senior wizards understand that Xu will not permit a second independent Ninth-Ring being to threaten his position 416.
  • Collective computation: Wizards can be placed into slumber to supply processing power; Seventh-Ring members later combine analysis duties with command through split spiritual avatars 417 426.

Systems and Capabilities

All-Knowing Eye

A knowledge-and-calculation system whose name expresses the Tower’s ultimate pursuit of truth, rather than literal omniscience 337.

  • Uses accumulated information to predict behavior and identify likely future locations 315.
  • Its calculation model gets nine out of ten predictions wrong when targeting gods, though a single correct prediction can still enable an interception 315.
  • Supplies authority that can be offered as a reward, including Sixth-Ring access in the pursuit of Eternal Silence’s Remains 91.

Omnipotent Eye

The Tower’s central surveillance, cultivation, computational, and Law-authority system 373 404 417.

  • Knowledge processing: Organizes an ocean of recorded knowledge through laws, converting it into an active operational structure 373.
  • Cultivation assistance: Provides talent assessments, meditation methods, elemental conversion, and an upgradeable universal auxiliary sorcery 404.
  • Communication: Connects wizards to their towers’ spiritual spaces and broadcasts instructions directly into their minds 418 426.
  • Law authorization: Grants access to shared Laws and supports False Ninth-Ring power without permitting independent ownership of the entire system 417 424.
  • Assimilation risk: Its status as an embryonic Heavenly Dao creates powerful Dao assimilation; thought models help authorized users resist it 377.
  • Detection limits: Wuxiang Watson’s independent Seal Formula system initially bypasses its surveillance. Yin Ming’s lack of direct engagements also leaves major gaps in its information about him 355 374.

Truth Sorcery

A consciousness-targeting application of the Omnipotent Eye that operates through Law Space rather than conventional physical combat 361 364.

  • Uses aura-bearing avatar remains to reach a target’s consciousness 361.
  • Draws victims into a spiritual confrontation where submission can be exchanged for partial Eye authority 361.
  • Eliminates groups of structurally vulnerable Evil Gods instead of requiring separate battles against each one 364.
  • Can be resisted with advance restrictions and maintained clarity before entering Law Space, although Yin Ming warns that future versions may improve 366.

Plane Engineering

The Tower uses local Black Towers as anchors for the Eye and as infrastructure for moving, protecting, and integrating planes 367 373 380.

  • Grants wizards golden eyes that help them inscribe Sorcery Runes on World Crystal Walls 367.
  • Moves and merges small and medium planes into Black Tower Continent 367.
  • Arranges large planes into orbital paths forming runes and an eye-shaped structure 367.
  • Suppresses destructive shockwaves during integration, preserving ordinary life 367.
  • Depends on trained personnel: followers without Black Tower education refine an Eye-receiving tower much more slowly 369.

Knowledge and Resource Control

  • Early secrecy: Rune-construction knowledge beyond the most basic level is strictly restricted 141.
  • Controlled exports: Current core Rune Deconstruction Knowledge is reserved for core members; outsiders may obtain decommissioned versions 318.
  • Alchemical suppression: The Tower seals alchemical knowledge. Yin Ming interprets this as preservation of the ruling order rather than fear of alchemy 275.
  • Resource holdings: It controls deposits including the Kelk Plane’s adamantine mines and withdraws rare World Origin Crystals and Plane Force Crystals into Void Black Towers before anticipated invasions 330 344.
  • Later public education: Meditation methods become widely printed, systematic study becomes easy to enter, and Fourth-Ring wizards receive special Mental Domain access as reserve world analysts 428.

Relationships

  • Abyss / Yuan — Principal rival. The Tower raids its core, seizes the Heaven Realm Core, and contests planar control; Yuan and Xu eventually fight in the unseen realm 322 336 379.
  • Yin Ming / Undying Xuanming — Investigated threat, occasional trading partner, and later major opponent. He refuses assimilation into the Eye because it would permanently subordinate his knowledge and growth to Xu 297 318 377 427.
  • Warlock Alliance — Early negotiating partner over the Flameburning Fire. Later divided between Abyss supporters and Black Tower supporters, with opposing members destroying planes rather than surrendering them 75 80 380.
  • Divine Kingdom — Largely absorbed through the God of Light’s allegiance and coercive recruitment following the Evil God purge 366.
  • God of Light — Major ally and operative; expands Eye coverage, hunts avatar bodies, and eventually holds authority second only to Xu 361 366 420.
  • Evil Gods — Targets for bounties, Truth Sorcery, and subsequent recruitment. Survivors are offered amnesty and authority in exchange for participation in the Tower’s system 355 364 377.
  • Wuxiang Watson — Priority bounty target and innovator of a competing Seal Formula path that initially escapes Eye detection 355 360.
  • Flame-Burners Association — Its original organization and Underground City are annexed; some former members decline vassal status and relocate to Hell Valley 91 111 202.
  • Lady White Moon — Supernatural crisis requiring negotiation and regional containment after her release 91 95.
  • Heavenly Demon Realm — Rival consciousness system and resource source. The Tower develops anti-demon procedures, exploits invading demons through reincarnation, and ultimately has the Eye devour its consciousness 418 426.
  • Ember World — Existential adversary whose expansion blocks Xu’s Taiyi ambition and prompts the mass-enlightenment and triple-sealing campaigns 426 427.
