During Thursday's Potions.

"Boom!"

Callis was blasted away.

Blaise, his face blackened, leaped up and caught the unconscious Callis. The two of them had just been working together to brew a potion, but Callis, in her confusion, put the wrong ingredient in, causing the cauldron to explode.

"Callis! Callis! Wake up!" Blaise was still shouting.

"Let me do it, Blaise." Daphne took the unconscious Callis from Blaise's arms, and Kurama took the opportunity to jump off Daphne's shoulder, placing its little paws on Callis's forehead. After a while, Callis slowly woke up.

"Merlin's beard!"

"I feel like I had a nightmare!"

"I dreamt that we were in Potions, Blaise was brewing Potions next to me when suddenly it exploded! That was terrifying!"

"Darling, is it possible that it wasn't a dream?" Daphne looked away, revealing Blaise's dark complexion.

"So now it's...? My God, Blaise, your face is so dark!"

"Miss Selwyn, Mr. Zabini, you two come to my office after class! Also, Slytherin loses one point!" Professor Snape stared at them with a dark face.

What Harry found truly astonishing was that Neville hadn't made a single mistake in the lesson. You heard right, his composure was so remarkable that even the notoriously vengeful Professor Snape surprisingly awarded Gryffindor a point! Although it was only one point...

In the afternoon Defense Against the Dark Arts, many students lined up outside early to wait for class. Only Hermione and Su Yu Daphne arrived late, just before class started, and casually sat in the back row, waiting for the renowned Professor Moody to arrive.

The Slytherin students were particularly interested in Professor Moody's wooden leg, or more accurately, his claws. Malfoy and the others felt that if they were made of iron, the lethality would definitely increase by another level, while Blaise thought it would be better to put them on his arm, so that he could cast spells from a distance anytime, anywhere, and kill his opponent directly at close range.

"Put all your textbooks away!" Professor Moody limped up to the podium, leaning on his cane. "You don't need these things in my class."

Then he took out the attendance list and scrutinized everyone present like criminals, his fake eyes darting back and forth, staring at each student he called out.

"Very good, it seems you are all in a good mood today. I have read Professor Lupin's letter and know what you have learned last year. However, you are all in your fourth year! You have only learned how to deal with Magical Creatures? This is not good. What you should be learning is how to deal with dark wizards! I will spend this year teaching you how to deal with those dark wizards!"

Professor Moody spoke in a rather gruff voice, his white hair flowed freely, and his scarred face occasionally revealed itself, which was quite frightening.

"What? What did you say?" Ron was a little incredulous. Could this really be taught?

Professor Moody stared at Ron, nearly scaring Ron so much that he didn't dare make a sound.

However, a smile appeared on Professor Moody's face, but the scars on his face made the students feel a strange and incongruous feeling, while Ron breathed a sigh of relief.

"You must be Ron Weasley, Arthur's son. I really appreciate your father's help the other day; he solved a huge problem for me. But I promised Headmaster Dumbledore I'd only help him for this year! Then I'll return to my retirement."

Then, Professor Moody began to explain the spell. He was right; to defeat fear, you must first confront it. Otherwise, how can you defend against it, or defeat it, if you've never even seen it?

However, the Slytherin students were getting a little sleepy. It was just Dark Magic, and they were talking as if anyone couldn't use it. They, the Slytherin students, had fought thousands upon thousands of these spells, shouting Avada Chomp-a-Melon until their throats were dry. But there was one thing they really didn't understand: even though they could Nonverbal Spellcasting, they still liked to shout them out involuntarily when they used them. How strange.

"Alright, let's get back to the point. Does anyone here know the Three Unforgivables?" Professor Moody scanned the Gryffindor students from above.

"I've heard my dad mention one, something like the Imperius Curse, right, Professor Moody?" Ron spoke first.

"Very good, your father must know this," Professor Moody said, taking out a glass bottle, pouring out the spider inside, placing it in his palm, and then shouting, "Imperius Curse!"

Then, as if manipulated, the spider became a puppet, dancing in Professor Moody's hands, causing the Gryffindor students to burst into laughter, while only the Slytherin students watched this scene with boredom.

"Do you think this is funny? Laughing so loudly, is this something to laugh about?" Professor Moody said coldly, "If I replaced the spiders I control with you, how would you react? I could control your lives and deaths, make you do whatever you want, even kill the people you love most. Would you still be laughing then?"

None of the Gryffindor students could laugh anymore.

"I remember it from over a decade ago. The Ministry of Magic was incredibly busy back then because so many wizards were controlled by Imperius Curse. Do you know how many people died trying to determine if it was intentional?"

"The Imperius Curse can be resisted with one's own strong will. I'm here to tell you how, but not everyone will be so lucky. So, the best way is to always be vigilant and try to avoid being hit by it!" Professor Moody taught very seriously, and Su Yu admired him. He just didn't know if the original owner of this body would have taught as well, so brilliantly. After all, Barty was one of the few geniuses at Hogwarts with 12 Os. It would be a real waste of talent for him to become Death Eaters.

"Does anyone know any other spells? Does anyone else know any?"

"I...I know one!" Neville stepped forward at this moment. He was a little nervous at first, but after turning to look at Su Yu, he stood up with a determined expression. "The Cruciatus Curse! Su Yu told me about it, and he's the one who healed my parents!"

Professor Moody looked at Su Yu in surprise, as if incredulous, then lowered his head and flipped through the attendance list. "Oh, your name is Longbottom, am I right?"

"Yes," Neville nodded vigorously, clenching his fist.

Professor Moody turned around, took out another bottle, poured out a spider, and said, "Engorgio!"

Then the spider started to grow bigger, and Ron and Su Yu began to back away. Daphne pulled Su Yu back, afraid that Su Yu might accidentally kill the fake Professor Moody in the first class if he got impatient, which would be a huge mess.

Professor Moody, in a moment of folly, picked up his wand and cast, "Crucio!"

The spider immediately began to convulse, its eight legs tucked together, struggling in agony. All the Gryffindor students couldn't bear to watch; they felt the spider was in too much pain and couldn't bear to see it.
