Back on Track
Black patted Harry on the shoulder again.
"But don't worry, we'll come to see you often, Harry."
Black winked at Harry discreetly. "Especially around Christmas."
Harry didn't understand what Black meant at that moment; he simply assumed Black wanted to spend Christmas with him.
"That's wonderful, Black!" Harry looked at Black and Professor Lupin with delight. "I really can't wait for that day to come; it's our first Christmas together!"
"Yes, Harry, I hope you have a Christmas you'll never forget."
Early that morning, young Master Malfoy sat on a tree branch by the entrance to the hall, leisurely swinging his legs.
Below, Goyle and Crabbe were fighting over the last piece of Fizzing Whizzbees, while Pansy leaned against a big tree, looking down at the homework Professor Snape had assigned yesterday.
"Oh, look who's here?"
Malfoy spotted the group of Mahoutokoro students who had come for breakfast from afar, and then a shrill voice rang out.
"Kikuchi Tadao! Hey! Your name is Kikuchi Tadao, right?"
Kikuchi Tadao, leading the remaining thirteen men, stopped, looked up at Malfoy, his gloomy eyes filled with rage.
"Hey, haven't seen you for two days, why have you become mute?"
"You idiot! Do you want to try my scimitar?" Tsuruta Gihei was still as hot-tempered as ever. Seeing that Su Yu and the others were not around, he immediately wanted to draw his sword and kill the guy in front of him. However, before he could draw his sword, he was stopped by his teammates.
"What are you Todo Shinsaku? Let me go, let me kill this bastard!"
"Baka! Shut up, you stupid idiot who only knows how to use a knife! Do you want us all to die with you today?" Todo Shinsaku whispered to Tsuruta Gihei.
"But now we have the power of God! Why should we be afraid of them!"
"Fool! That's our hidden power! Revealing it now would jeopardize our future plans for the sake of the French Empire Magic School! You idiot!"
Upon hearing this, Tsuruta Gihei slowly released his grip on his longsword, glared fiercely at Malfoy in the tree, and gritted his teeth, "One day, I will kill you with my own hands, and that day will not be far off."
And just like that, the farce came to an abrupt end.
"Why didn't you take the opportunity to attack him just now? He threatened you so much!" Astoria asked Malfoy as she watched the group from the Mahoutokoro walk away.
"I'm not like the Chief. If I killed him now, it would damage the reputation of the Malfoy family. The Malfoy family can't just kill someone because someone said a few words about us, can we? Potter would have been dead eight hundred times over by now..."
Malfoy wasn't stupid. The Chief was so shameless that the Ministry of Magic was already troubled enough by his presence alone. If a whole group of them appeared, they would truly be labeled a terrorist organization. The Third Dark Lord —he didn't want the Chief to become like that. So, he had been waiting for that group to make their move, but in the end, they held back.
But that's alright. Doesn't he mock Potter like that Tenten? These idiots don't have Potter's verbal attack power. Sooner or later, Malfoy will push them to the edge. When they can't hold back anymore and make a move, Malfoy can then take action without any problem. He's not stupid. He's as smart as Kurama!
After the first match, Hogwarts Academy and Wizardry resumed classes. After all, the most important thing for a student is to attend classes diligently.
In Professor Hagrid's Care of Magical Creatures, Callis, Daphne, and a few other girls were teasing a Niffler who had fallen behind. Watching it frantically clutch its pocket, the girls let out lewd giggles, looking just like a bunch of perverts.
"So that's where my earrings went! You stole them!" Callis said, poking the Niffler's belly, which the Niffler swatted away in disgust.
Professor Hagrid has now built a lost and found at the entrance of his cabin, because the Niffler is too clever; it always manages to steal all sorts of Winky things from the students when they're not looking.
Therefore, Hagrid specifically instructed the students not to wear jewelry or valuables during the Care of Magical Creatures. But if those Slytherin princesses weren't allowed to flaunt their possessions, would they still be Slytherin?
Being stolen from by the Niffler is a way of showing off your strength, isn't it? Look at the Weasley family, the Niffler wants to steal, but there's nothing for them to steal!
"Hey, I found my hair clip too! I spent 50 Galleon to buy it!"
"But the necklace I bought for 200 Galleon is really gone... Has anyone seen it? Can you help me find it? I'm so upset..."
A group of young ladies were silently flaunting their wealth at the lost and found, which made Ron, who was also there for class, feel a deep sense of injustice.
"How can the differences between people be so great?"
Upon hearing this, young Malfoy chimed in, "Actually, sometimes the difference between humans and dogs is even greater, Weasley."
"What did he mean, Harry?" Ron didn't quite understand.
Harry sighed, patted Ron on the shoulder, and said, "I really think you're quite happy sometimes. It's nothing, go have fun..."
Su Yu was squatting under a tree, dragging a Bowtruckle in one hand and holding a lock in the other.
The Bowtruckle carefully nestled in Su Yu's palm and quickly unlocked the lock.
"Wow! It's so smart! It only took five seconds to open this time!" Kurama also lay down beside it, clapping his little hands to cheer on the Bowtruckle.
Then Su Yu took out an electronic lock from his Storage Ring, held it in his hand, and gestured for the Bowtruckle to continue.
The little Bowtruckle looked utterly bewildered. Was this a lock too? Why wasn't there a keyhole? How did it open?
"Can you be a decent human being?" Hermione, carrying a book about the history of Japan magic, walked over to Su Yu, sat down, tilted her head and gave Su Yu a disdainful look, then went back to reading her book.
"Hey! I'm training it, teaching it to adapt to the times! And to experience the wickedness of human nature early on, right, Kurama?"
Su Yu put the Bowtruckle back on the tree, picked up Kurama, and retorted.
"That's right, that's right!" Kurama was still echoing Su Yu; she was Su Yu's number one lackey!
"So, that's why you stole the Kurama cheesecake this morning?" Daphne came over at this moment and sat down with Hermione, sharing the same grievance.
"What?! Su Yu! You bastard! You stole my cheesecake!"
Kurama instantly bristled, pouted, and jumped out of Su Yu's arms. She was never going to be friends with Su Yu again!!
"I'll bite you to death!! Don't run away!!"
