Background

Hu Liena first meets Dongfang Yu after witnessing him behave improperly toward his summoned martial soul. Appalled by the incident, she introduces herself coldly as his senior sister, shows him the residence Bibi Dong arranged for him, and leaves as quickly as possible 3.

Bibi Dong later brings Hu Liena, Xie Yue, and Yan—the Golden Generation—to meet Dongfang Yu and orders them to judge whether he is qualified to join their group. Hu Liena initially remains hostile because of their first meeting, but Dongfang Yu’s performance against the much stronger Yan forces her to acknowledge his exceptional talent 14.
