Background / History

Emperor Jun transmigrated from another world and awakened as the Three-legged Golden Crow Emperor Jun, a being nurtured by the Sun Star. His inherited memories identify the Sun Star as having formed from Great God Pangu's eyes, making Jun a descendant of Pangu by origin. He initially struggles with fear and isolation, then accepts that strength is the only reliable protection in the Primordial World. 1

Knowing the original Emperor Jun's fate—death alongside Taiyi during the Lich conflict and the loss of nine of ten children—he resolves to avoid that path. Rather than pursue the Lich War, he aims to build the Primordial World, accumulate merit and fortune, and eventually reshape his destiny. 1 19

After leaving the Sun Star, Jun travels through the Primordial World to test his abilities, study diverse Dao paths, and seek the direction needed for his breakthrough. His experience in the Dao-Devil Conflict develops his combat methods, speed, formation knowledge, and understanding of deduction. 2 8 9

Hongjun's sermon leads Jun to break through to Zenith Heaven Golden Immortal. During this breakthrough, he hears a call from the Heavenly Realm and recognizes it as his fated destination. He consequently shifts his objective from merely avoiding the title of Demon Emperor to becoming the Heavenly Emperor. 18 19

Jun ultimately accepts both the Demon Emperor and Heavenly Emperor mandates. He establishes the Heavenly Court as a system of offices and authority rather than a simple faction, delegates governance to the Four Great Emperors, appoints Star Gods, and uses the Grand Heavenly Star Formation to benefit the Primordial World. 200 201 204

Appearance

In human form, Emperor Jun wears a Gold-Flow Robe bearing a Golden Crow pattern. His natural presence is regal and domineering, though he commonly restrains it to appear unremarkable. After prolonged tempering, his majesty gains a gentler warmth without losing its authority. 2 3 44

  • Three-legged Golden Crow by true nature. 1
  • Golden Crow pattern on his Gold-Flow Robe becomes prominent when he releases his aura. 2 3
  • Golden light can appear in his pupils. 3
  • His Moon Star manifestation is a silvery-white body condensed from moonlight essence. 50
  • A purple lightning emblem appears on his brow when he manifests Heavenly Punishment authority. 494

Personality

Jun is cautious, calculating, and intensely survival-oriented. Early in his life, he considers escape and concealment a valid response to danger; the Rainbow Transformation Art is his most valued divine ability because living long enough is necessary to pursue the Dao. 2 9 12

He is highly independent and rejects roles or conflicts that do not serve his own path. He refuses Hongjun's initial appointment as Demon Emperor, declines Eastern Lord Duke's invitation to join his faction, and repeatedly avoids being dragged into others' ambitions. 48 71 89

Despite his low-key preferences, Jun is not passive. He develops a sovereign path of commanding myriad laws, plans over vast spans of time, and accepts the burdens of the Heavenly Emperor position when it becomes necessary to fulfill his larger vision. 19 194 201

He can be ruthless toward genuine threats. He tortures and erases Daoist Lihuo's remnant soul after discovering its attempted possession, yet he also avoids needless killing when it would cause karmic consequences, such as crippling the Celestial Court rather than slaughtering it. 32 381

Grand Heavenly Star Formation

A formation created and mastered by Jun, tied to the Primordial Starry Sky and later the Heavenly Court.

  • Breaks the Ten Thousand Immortals Formation with a single punch at Golden Immortal of the Origin level. 63

  • Absorbs Demon Path laws with the Law Demon Wheel to control the expanded realm. 214
  • Reflects his mental world onto reality for suppression and trapping. 214
  • His Mind Realm eventually becomes a world distinct from the Sage-created Small Worlds governed by the Heavenly Dao. 318

Myriad Laws Path

Jun's personal Dao centers on commanding and governing myriad laws.

  • Enables him to identify and exploit points where opposing laws are chaotic or weakest. 19 431
  • Allows precise division of Heavenly Empress authority without damaging its foundation. 233
  • Supports his ability to coordinate formations, worldly systems, and different Dao paths. 431

Three Corpses and Incarnations

Jun severs the Evil, Good, and Self Corpses, using them as connected but distinct extensions of himself.

  • His Evil Corpse manifests with a ferocious and imposing temperament. 157
  • He can merge the Three Corpses after using them to withstand tribulation. 168
  • A severed corpse unifies with the Hetu Luoshu Diagram and becomes the Heavenly Realm's spokesperson on the Throne of Law. 174
  • His soul incarnation is later severed from his original body at the level of karma and fate. 396
  • One incarnation cultivates the Nine Revolutions Mysterious Technique using Ancestral Witch Essence Blood. 397 431
