Background

Nüwa resides at Phoenix Perch Mountain with her elder brother, Fuxi. Before joining the Demon Race, the siblings preferred discussing the Dao and sheltering the beings around their mountain rather than participating in the conflicts of the Primordial World. Nüwa had preached there, where several beings had recently reached the Zenith Heaven Golden Immortal realm. 80

She attends Dao Ancestor Hongjun's gathering at Zixiao Palace and is later recognized by Emperor Jun as a future Sage candidate due to the fortune tied to her seat and Primordial Violet Qi. 69 80 82

Demon Race service

Emperor Jun personally visits Phoenix Perch Mountain and offers Fuxi the title of Xi Emperor and Nüwa the title of Wa Empress. Though reluctant to become involved in worldly disputes, Nüwa and Fuxi accept the alliance after considering Emperor Jun's standing and the political circumstances surrounding them. 80 81 83

Nüwa formally becomes the Demon Race's Wa Emperor and receives a share of the race's destiny, strengthening her connection to the Demon Name Record and the Demon Race itself. 116

After the beings of Phoenix Perch Mountain are harmed, Nüwa's normally calm disposition gives way to open wrath. She annihilates an offending Zenith Heaven Golden Immortal, then volunteers to challenge the Golden Immortals of the Origin alongside the Demon Race. 131 132

During the campaign, she uses the Nüwa Stone to overwhelm Tianguang Daoist while Fuxi deduces and disrupts their opponent's movements. Her combat style earns Emperor Jun's description of her as a “War Goddess.” 136

Heavenly Marriage

Nüwa discovers that the Red Bridal Ball contains an opportunity tied to the Heavenly Marriage. She proposes the matter to Emperor Jun, identifies Xihe and Changxi as suitable candidates, and carries messages between the Heavenly Court and Moon Star. 222 223 224

When the sisters ask to jointly hold the Heavenly Empress authority, Nüwa assists Emperor Jun in deducing whether the authority can be divided. After confirming it can, she informs the sisters and later presides over the completed Heavenly Marriage. 226 227 232 233

The merit gained from her role in arranging and officiating the marriage allows her to sever her second corpse, producing Yuelao. 234 235

Creation of the Human Race

Unable to find enlightenment through seclusion, Nüwa asks Emperor Jun to protect her during a journey through the Primordial World. After famous mountains and blessed lands yield no result, she turns her attention to ordinary beings and witnesses their suffering in war. 255 256 257 258

At Mount Buzhou, contemplation of Pangu's form reveals the Innate Dao Body and confirms that her path is to create a new race. Her first attempts fail until Emperor Jun identifies the inadequacy of ordinary soil and provides Nine Heavens Breath Soil and Three Lights Divine Water. 259 260 261

Nüwa successfully creates humanity, first individually and then with the Innate Gourd Vine, stopping at 129,600 humans. The resulting merit lets her become a Sage, after which she asks Emperor Jun to watch over humanity while she stabilizes her realm. 262 263 264

Wa Emperor Palace and Sage preaching

Nüwa creates Wa Emperor Palace in Chaos to replenish the Primordial Heavenly Dao's origin. The Heavenly Dao incorporates the Small World into the Primordial World, and Nüwa uses it as the site for a 3,000-year sermon on the Creation Dao. 274 275

Afterward, she warns Emperor Jun of an uncertain future in which the Human Race rises and six Sages rule the Primordial Heavenly Dao. Her inability to see the Demon Race's future leads Emperor Jun to conclude that its fate may lie beyond even a Sage's sight. 277 278

Sky Support

When Mount Buzhou's burden threatens the stability of the Primordial World, Nüwa joins Emperor Jun's plan to create a new sky-supporting structure. 399 400

Using the Qiankun Cauldron, Creation Law, and the Four Symbols Method, she refines the Giant Turtle into the Four Symbols Heavenly Pillars. She later refines the Five-Colored Divine Stone, which binds the pillars to the Pangu Membrane and completes the Sky Support. 402 406 408
