Lin En had no recollection of what happened after that.

All I remember is that some people told them to follow him, then placed them in a corner, and the Blood Angels went to continue killing the enemy.

These people were all wearing the same blood-red Power Armor as Tyrennius.

They were wearing helmets, so you couldn't see their faces, as if Tyrennius had come back to life.

Other Chapter, such as the Ultramarines or other Chapter, only retrieve the Gene-seed from fallen soldiers, leaving their bodies on the battlefield or burying them on the spot.

Many Chapter are like this because they feel that the Astartes ' destiny is the battlefield, and staying on the battlefield is equivalent to going home.

But the Blood Angels are not like that.

The Blood Angels take the recovery of the bodies of fallen warriors very seriously and will try their best to transport the bodies back to Baal for burial.

Baal is a planet scorched into a desert by intense radiation, with a less than ideal environment. However, it is also the final resting place of the Archangel Sanguinius, and even in death, they try their best to return there.

With so many Blood Angels present, the battle underground ended quickly.

The Blood Warriors wiped out the demons and Cultists.

Those unclean demons were either burned to a crisp by Bolter and flamethrowers, or blasted into ashes one by one by the Multi-melta of the Dreadnought.

The last struggling Cultists was pinned to the wall by the leading Sergeant's sword, announcing the thunderous wrath of the Blood Angels.

The Warp Rift was sealed by the combined efforts of the Chief Librarian who had accompanied them.

The Golden Light burned away the Chaos runes on the altar, and all the disgusting, dark red stuff vanished from the planet.

The important business is done.

A group of Blood Warriors collected Tyrennius's remains.

Tyrennius was laid flat on the ground, his Chainsword snatched from the demons and placed beside him.

That enormous Dreadnought, the one with the patriarch's rage, wielded a handgun in one hand and a fist in the other. His fist was almost the size of Tyrennius himself. Now, he knelt beside Tyrennius, his massive Power Fist resting on Tyrennius's shattered chest armor, motionless, as if waiting for a heartbeat that could never be heard again.

I wonder who's inside that Dreadnought.

Anyway, he was either the former Company Commander of the Fifth Company or a former regimental commander of the Blood Angels... they were all Tyrennius's elders.

The Chapter of Astartes are all bound together by the same genetic lineage; the Blood Angels are all offspring of Sanguinius, true blood relatives.

The other Blood Angels are doing the same thing.

In their early years Blood Angels were Ghoul Legion that acted like beasts. Later, Sanguinius Sanguinius and truly taught them very well.

They did this quietly, without using machinery or Servitor. A group of Astartes bent down and picked up the pieces of Ceramite, piece by piece, by hand, wiping them clean and placing them into Tyrennius's shroud.

Another one came over.

This one retrieved the empty Bolter and placed it to Tyrennius's right.

The equipment of the Blood Angels is all forged by the Baal Monastery, each piece carrying the Blood of Sanguinius. Even every fragment of their Power Armor is taken home after death, back to Baal, back to the Death World that Sanguinius calls home.

Once Tyrennius's body was mostly recovered, the Dreadnought gently positioned Tyrennius's hands in a sword-wielding posture using its massive mechanical arm.

The Chainsword was placed in front of Tyrennius's chest, and its position was adjusted so that the holy wing relief on the hilt perfectly covered the piercing wound in his chest.

Sanguinius ' wings will heal his wounds.

He then stepped back and patted his breastplate with his hand.

All the Blood Angels behind him did the same thing.

Ceramite slapped Ceramite, bang bang.

Your blood still beats in my heart.

They are worthy of the Blood of Sanguinius.

Cecilia stood next to Lin En.

Lin En heard her muttering something to herself with her head down.

She read it very slowly, and then Lin En realized that it was a requiem from the Sisterhood.

So Lin En clasped his hands together.

Your Emperor, if you can truly hear me, please allow Tyrennius's soul to return to the Golden Throne.

He was a loyal and brave warrior, deserving of all glory.

Please bless Cecilia, please bless Iron Hammer, and please bless every human being in this world.

Lin En added their names to the prayer as well.

A Blood Angels walked over.

He walked up to Lin En and the others and took off his helmet.

All the Blood Angels possessed handsome faces similar to Sanguinius.

They didn't know the name of this Blood Angels, but he had a face that looked very much like Tyrennius.

The Blood Angels's eyes were the exact same color as Tyrennius's. He asked, "You are the Battle Sister, Mechanic, and Early Warning Soldier that Tyrennius mentioned, right?"

Cecilia nodded and said, "Yes."

The Sergeant nodded.

"Please evacuate with the Battle Barge. Tyrennius's remains will be escorted back to Baal by the Chapter."

Lin En and the others nodded and were led onto the Battle Barge by the Blood Angels.

Tyrennius's body and Power Armor were brought up together. The Blood Angels collected every piece of Ceramite Power Armor could find, carefully gathered them up, and four Astartes carried him back on a stretcher.

Lin En followed beside him, watching his silhouette beneath the shroud.

The Blood Angels ' Battle Barge were enormous, large enough to hold the entire monastery and rows of weapon racks.

He no longer wanted to look at the Thunderhawk Gunship hanging from the ceiling, the pure gold Holy Wing reliefs inlaid on the walls, or the neatly arranged armor plates on the floor.

The shroud covered Tyrennius's face. Lin En followed the stretcher in the hangar until all the Astartes turned to look at him, and only then did he realize he was crying.

She must have cried terribly.

But he really couldn't resist.

Those Astartes were probably wondering to themselves where this dutiful grandson of Tyrennius came from.

He just wanted to cry.

As the stretcher passed through the central hangar, all the Blood Angels who were preparing the equipment stopped what they were doing.

They turned around.

Facing the stretcher.

They bowed their heads in silent tribute to their brothers.

The sound of running could be heard from inside.

An Astartes with Purity Seal printed on the forehead of his helmet ran over.

He must be the company's Apothecary.

The four Astartes carrying the stretcher stopped and waited for the Apothecary to examine Tyrennius.

The Astartes have a mechanism for feigning death, but that requires Twin Hearts and brains to be intact. Tyrennius's Twin Hearts broken; he is probably truly dead.

The Apothecary used a very thin probe to insert into the gap in Tyrennius's helmet.

After waiting for a long time, he put away the probe, shook his head, and reached out to pull the shroud up a little, covering Tyrennius's helmet.

He is really dead.

All the Blood Angels in the hangar put down what they were holding and simultaneously punched each other in the chest with their right fists, like Ceramite ramming into Ceramite, with dozens of muffled thuds in unison.

Iron Hammer and Cecilia closed their eyes.

Lin En looked at the Aquila on the shroud and suddenly thought that the eagle was really drawn terribly.

Damn Warhammer, those monstrous Xenos, that Chaos deserves to be torn to pieces...

There were also useless Emperor.

Tyrennius deserves a better life.

O Emperor, do not let Tyrennius return to the Golden Throne.

If we can make an exchange, since we've already brought him to this world, let's exchange Tyrennius for the world he came from.

Let Tyrennius go to our world, which, though crowded, is peaceful and stable.
