Background and History

Li Qingyang grew up knowing Li Xun chiefly as a homebound scientist and musician. Before his Spirit Awakening, Tang San told him that Li Xun’s earlier life—including his violent campaign against nobles—had been kept from the public. Qingyang initially struggled to reconcile that account with the gentle father he knew, then sought out his aunt Li Yingxue to learn more 2 12 14.

His awakening drew attention across the continent. After Tang Wutong revealed twin Martial Souls and level-10 Innate Full Soul Power, Qingyang awakened twin Martial Souls of his own and level-20 innate Soul Power 43 44. He then reaffirmed a wager to duel Yu Tianlong, agreeing without mockery to use only his first Soul Skill in their match 45 46.

Appearance

Qingyang is blond and resembles Qian Renxue as a child. At his awakening, he stands straight and carries himself with unusual poise; a later future scene shows him as a tall youth 2 44 58.

He remains composed when his awakening eclipses his peers’ results and accepts Yu Tianlong’s proposed duel restriction without arrogance. Though he once said becoming a Limit Douluo would satisfy him, he later takes the initiative to ask Li Xun for demanding sword training 16 45 46 77.
