Background / History

Qian Renxue grew up under Qian Daoliu’s strict expectations that she inherit the Angel God position. As Bibi Dong’s daughter, she also experienced a distant relationship with her mother. She later went undercover in the Heaven Dou imperial family as Crown Prince Xue Qinghe, continuing to handle court affairs even after the Heavenly Screen exposed her future with Li Xun 21 35 93.

In the future she describes to Li Qingyang, Renxue first developed feelings for Li Xun while watching him lead the Imperial Fighting Team to the tournament finals. She then arranged an apparently accidental meeting with him in Spirit City, presenting herself as a vulnerable girl. Spirit Hall’s elders initially opposed their relationship, but the couple later married in Spirit City 13 14 23.

The Heavenly Screen shows Renxue as Spirit Hall’s Pope, the Angel God, and a mother of two. It also shows her opposing Li Xun when his campaign against the nobles threatens to consume him. After their battle leaves her and Tang San gravely wounded, she asks Li Xun to marry her and pursue his vision of an equal world without slaughter. She later promises not to oppose his goals if he spares the innocent 5 9 11 60.

Present-day relationship and departure from the undercover mission

The future revealed by the Heavenly Screen gives Renxue a happiness she had scarcely experienced growing up. Her father, Qian Xunji, had been preoccupied with papal affairs, Bibi Dong treated her coldly, and even Qian Daoliu’s care was constrained by his duties to the Angel God. After seeing her future family, Renxue becomes increasingly afraid of losing that promised warmth and orders her attendants to locate Li Xun 30 35 64.

Investigations into Dugu Bo’s visits to a Li Family residence lead her to Li Xun in Heaven Dou City. She initially visits as Xue Qinghe, presenting her interest as the crown prince’s desire to recruit a promising talent. Li Xun recognizes the romantic intentions behind her disguise. During his later visit to the Crown Prince’s Estate, he reveals that he knows her identity, and she removes the disguise before him 64 66 68 70 88 89.

Renxue catches Li Xun after he exhausts himself driving back Mighty Lion Douluo during a test. She then gives him a Hundred Thousand Year Earth Dragon Emperor Left Arm Soul Bone, and the worshippers’ acceptance of him strengthens their relationship. They continue meeting privately while she remains responsible for her undercover duties 90 93 103.

Eventually, Renxue returns to Spirit Hall and tells Qian Daoliu that she no longer wants to live as the Heaven Dou crown prince. She wishes to stand openly beside Li Xun as herself. Qian Daoliu supports her decision, promising to withdraw their planted personnel gradually, settle the Xue Qinghe identity, and handle Bibi Dong’s objections 123.

Her conflict with Bibi Dong nevertheless deepens when the Pope orders her to accept Yu Xiaogang as her master. Having initially hoped the summons signaled an improvement in their relationship, Renxue instead rejects the demand outright, denounces Yu Xiaogang’s qualifications, and leaves the Papal Hall 127.

Tournament finals and public courtship

In Spirit City, Renxue prepares a pale-gold angel gown for a rendezvous with Li Xun at Angel Square. Although they already know and love one another, they deliberately reenact the supposedly chance first meeting recorded by the Heavenly Screen. On their way to dinner, she makes clear that she wants the unique position of his future wife, while refusing to demand an oath that would endanger his godhood 139 142 145.

Renxue also insists that Li Xun face her at full strength in the tournament finals, seeking to prove that the future Angel God is not inferior to the Asura God. Leading the Spirit Hall Team, she requests a one-on-one duel in place of the team match, and Bibi Dong approves 145 149.

As a Six-Ring Soul Emperor, Renxue initially matches Li Xun’s sword strike despite his being a Five-Ring Soul King. She then forcibly activates her Angel Domain and uses Angel’s Sigh, committing her Soul Power and potential to her strongest attack. Li Xun’s Rolling Dragon Sword Wall suppresses the technique. Exhausted and unable to remain airborne, she falls toward the platform as he moves to catch her, losing the duel 150 151 152.

Future journeys and divine faith

In the future broadcast, Renxue accompanies Li Xun to other worlds. On the Five Elements Continent, she explains the local Yin-Yang Mage system and the rival Light and Darkness Alliances. After witnessing Lie Yan sacrifice herself to save Ji Dong, she asks Li Xun to intervene, leading to Lie Yan’s revival 69.

She later travels with Li Xun, Gu Yuena, and five other women to the Divine Realm. The Goddess of Life explains that Renxue, Li Xun, and the Sea God have earned a year’s leave. Renxue visits the Angel God Temple and subsequently accompanies Li Xun to Bibi Dong’s Rakshasa God Temple, where the distance between mother and daughter persists despite their divine status 98 101 103 104 105.

On the Sacred Demon Continent, the world’s strong affinity with light immediately nourishes her Angel God position. Following Li Xun’s advice, she manifests above Holy City to establish faith before the planned campaign against the demons. The inhabitants’ worship strengthens her divine foundation, and she bestows healing holy light across the city. Holy City is subsequently renamed Angel City, while the Six Great Temples prepare their forces for war 110 112 114 116.

At Demon Suppression Pass, Renxue confronts the Demon God Emperor. Even a Demon Sword empowered by the origins of sixty Demon Gods cannot break her defenses. After purifying the demonic energy and restoring her shield, she launches a spear of divine judgment through the sword’s destructive domain 119 121.

Future Spirit Pagoda

Renxue welcomes Li Xun’s invention of Soul Spirits as a way to ease the conflict between Soul Masters and Soul Beasts. When he names their new organization the Spirit Pagoda, he assigns Renxue and her people to prepare its rules and branches. Its completed city and Main Tower stand beside the Star Dou Great Forest under joint human and Soul Beast governance 133 139.

At the Spirit Pagoda’s gathering, Renxue uses her divine presence to dispel the hostility between the assembled human and Soul Beast factions. Speaking on Li Xun’s behalf, she publicly explains that Soul Spirits form symbiotic bonds without requiring Soul Beasts to be killed. She announces the Spirit Pagoda’s responsibilities: regulating contracts, preventing enslavement, matching willing Soul Beasts with suitable Soul Masters, overseeing cultivation, and continually improving the system 140 145.

Later broadcasts show Renxue traveling with Li Xun, their children, and Tang Wutong aboard Spirit Hall’s private Soul Guidance Plane to Mingdu. She accompanies him at the airport reception, where his future disciple, Empress Xu Changle, welcomes them 155 159.

Appearance

Renxue has long golden hair, bright golden eyes, luminous fair skin, and a cool, noble bearing. Removing her Xue Qinghe disguise reveals a sacred aura distinct from the crown prince’s gentle appearance 15 88.

Personality

In public, Renxue is composed and commanding; in private, she is affectionate, playful, and easily embarrassed when the Heavenly Screen broadcasts moments with Li Xun. The future it shows appeals to her partly because she can set aside her disguise and responsibilities 17 18 30 39.

She pursues Li Xun deliberately, yet places a clear moral limit on her support for him: he must spare innocent people. With their children, she is attentive to milestones and safety, setting aside Spirit Hall business for Qingyang’s awakening and checking on him after he absorbs a soul ring 11 23 38 73.

Beneath her pride and apparent determination to replace Bibi Dong as Pope, Renxue longs for her mother’s affection. Her undercover service was partly an attempt to earn Bibi Dong’s approval. The future’s continued estrangement hurts her deeply, even as she becomes more willing to reject her mother’s demands in the present 104 127.

Renxue is confident in her own beauty, talent, and status, often regarding other women interested in Li Xun as unable to displace her. Gu Yuena’s appearance unsettles that confidence. Nevertheless, she distinguishes between jealousy over individual encounters and her insistence on being Li Xun’s only wife; she trusts his promise without allowing him to complete a destructive vow 22 23 66 97 145.

Her affection does not erase her competitiveness. She demands an earnest duel with Li Xun rather than an easy victory, willing to overdraw her strength to demonstrate that she can stand beside him as an equal 145 150 151.
