Sakura Haruno picked up a Scroll beside her, strode over to Aogetsu Hyuga, and said irritably, "Cangyue-sensei, I've chosen!"

What made her angriest was Cangyue-sensei's Mu attitude, as though nobody else mattered to him.

Aogetsu Hyuga glanced at the snake summoning Scroll in Sakura Haruno's hand and smiled faintly. "Good. Katsuyu, then."

Sakura Haruno opened the Contract Scroll, pointed at the portrait of Manda, and snapped, "A snake! A snake Summoning Animal!"

She had ultimately chosen a snake Summoning Animal because they were powerful and could spray poison over a wide area.

"Of course I know. The kind of Katsuyu that looks like a snake, right? They're both crawling beasts, after all. They do look alike." Aogetsu Hyuga tossed the snake Contract Scroll behind him, picked up the Katsuyu Contract Scroll, and placed it in Sakura Haruno's fair palm.

"A snake... Oh, fine. Katsuyu it is." Sakura Haruno was speechless.

Why did Cangyue-sensei insist on giving me Katsuyu?

Sakura Haruno picked up the little Katsuyu and greeted her politely. "Hello, I'm Sakura Haruno."

Katsuyu suddenly spotted Aogetsu Hyuga standing there with a faint, relaxed smile. After a stunned moment, she cried, "Cang... Aogetsu Hyuga?!"

Aogetsu Hyuga took out a bag of salt and looked coolly at the little Katsuyu. "Let's keep this short. Where's that madwoman Tsunade? Lie to me and I'll sprinkle salt on you."

The little Katsuyu glanced at the salt in Cangyue's hand and shrank back in fright. "I'm sorry, Lord Cangyue. I haven't seen Lady Tsunade in a long time."

Aogetsu Hyuga tossed the bag of salt behind him. "Useless little wretch. Train properly with my student. If she can't summon your main body within five days, I'll dunk you in a vat of salt."

"Y-yes!" The little Katsuyu answered at once, then muttered, "That depends on the girl's aptitude..."

"Hmm?" Aogetsu Hyuga glanced at Katsuyu.

"N-nothing!" the little Katsuyu said in a panic.

"Incredible."

The members of Team 7 watched the little Katsuyu cower in terror, then looked at Aogetsu Hyuga with admiration.

Even Summoning Animals from another dimension have to show Cangyue-sensei respect?

He really is amazing!

"Cangyue-sensei, I've chosen too! I want to make a contract with this powerful, awesome guy!" Naruto Uzumaki ran up to Cangyue, clutching a large Scroll, his face full of anticipation.

"Just you wait, Sasuke! The guy I picked is strong, looks awesome, and can even turn into a weapon that stretches and shrinks!" Naruto Uzumaki shot Sasuke a smug look. He had gone through every Contract Scroll before settling on a summon that was both powerful and cool.

"Dead last," Sasuke Uchiha sneered.

Idiot.

Powerful Summoning Animals are usually hard to call forth.

Cangyue-sensei might be able to force a contract between Naruto and a Summoning Animal, but actually summoning it will depend on Naruto's own ability.

"Enma?" Aogetsu Hyuga took the Scroll, opened it, and studied the portrait of Enma inside.

The Nine-Tails brat may be stupid, but he has a good eye. He actually picked Enma, king of the apes, the Sarutobi Clan's secret Summoning Animal and the strongest in the Shinobi World.

Enma is formidable, and he can turn into a weapon.

Apart from the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, he's probably the strongest Summoning Animal in the Shinobi World right now. He's also the Third Hokage's greatest trump card.

That old man Danzo sure can steal. He even got his hands on the method for summoning the Sarutobi Clan's secret summon.

Naruto can make the contract, but at his current level, it'll probably take him months to summon Enma.

The Side Mission had a seven-day limit. Given Team 7's current strength and aptitude, they could probably master summoning in five days, provided they chose ordinary Summoning Animals.

"Hmph. Idiot." Sasuke Uchiha sneered. He had already suspected Cangyue-sensei would make Naruto choose again. How could an idiot like Naruto summon something so powerful as a Summoning Animal?

He was relieved.

If Naruto managed to summon Enma, Sasuke would be the one left looking bad.

Sakura Haruno glared at Naruto Uzumaki. "Are you stupid? We've only just started learning the Summoning Technique. Of course we have to start with the basics!"

She had seen Enma too, but had ruled him out immediately.

The Scroll said Enma was currently the strongest Summoning Animal and the hardest secret summon to call forth.

"Aw, and I finally found one that looked so cool." Naruto Uzumaki grumbled as he frantically searched through the Contract Scrolls. He was terrified Cangyue-sensei would refuse to teach him summoning.

He could learn the Summoning Technique himself with all these Scrolls lying around, but without Cangyue to intimidate the Summoning Animals, even making a contract with one would be difficult.

Toads were the exception, of course.

Naruto had the blood of the Fourth Hokage in his veins.

"Found one!" Naruto Uzumaki picked up a Contract Scroll he had examined earlier but passed over, then hurried back to Cangyue.

"Cangyue-sensei, is this toad Summoning Animal okay?" Naruto Uzumaki asked glumly.

He had noticed the toad Contract Scroll earlier because it bore a name he deeply respected.

But Naruto still wanted Enma. Enma was strong and looked cool.

"You've got a decent eye, fox brat. The Fourth Hokage used this summon." Aogetsu Hyuga picked up the dark Kurenai Scroll and studied the names written on it.

The pervy old man's Summoning Animal, huh.

He passed them to the Fourth Hokage, and after the Fourth died, Naruto got them.
