In Konoha: Choose One of Three at the Start

After they finished eating, Liuyun was surprised that Uchiha Mikoto never mentioned last night. She acted as though nothing had happened.

Liuyun smiled a smile only a fellow pervert would understand.

Perhaps the plan that had crossed his mind earlier could become permanent.

Maybe living like a man of Eastern Wu wouldn't be so bad!

"Off to school, Liuyun?"

"Good morning, Liuyun! Good morning, Mikoto!"

It was the same familiar Uchiha Clan Compound, with the same familiar faces. Their attitudes, however, had changed completely.

Liuyun and Mikoto passed through after breakfast.

The Uchiha Clan members who had once mocked and looked down on him now greeted them with smiles, asking after them with almost excessive concern.

Uchiha Fuchu's orders had clearly taken effect.

So this was what strength could do for you, Liuyun thought.

Outsiders called the Uchiha Clan evil, but that wasn't true. They felt things more deeply than anyone.

Their love was simply a little obsessive.

There were plenty of examples: Tobi, Madara, Itachi the Clan Killer, and Shisui, that ambassador of peace. Which of them wasn't obsessive?

Of course, Liuyun was only musing. He brought his attention back to the present.

He gave the clanspeople fussing over them a polite smile.

You weren't there when I needed help. Who are you to show up now that things are going well?

Of course, the ones showing concern were all Uchiha Clan members who had yet to awaken their eyes.

Those whose eyes had awakened were much the same as before, though they no longer looked at Liuyun with disgust.

Perhaps, to them, only those with awakened eyes were true members of the Uchiha Clan.

The Ninja Academy was much the same as ever. The only difference was the hint of approval in Liuyun's classmates' eyes when they looked at him.

He sat down, greeted Kushina, and began his mental training.

His mind truly wandered beyond the world. He truly became a sleeping arhat.

With Wang Tenggang's arrival, another dull day began.

Time passed quickly in his sleep. Before he knew it, the sky had turned gold.

As usual, Liuyun set out with Kushina and Uchiha Mikoto, dropping Kushina off first.

After walking to the end of the street, the three of them arrived at the gates of the Senju Clan Compound once more.

"See you tomorrow, Liuyun! Mikoto!"

"See you tomorrow!" the other two replied.

Liuyun and Mikoto waved. Once Kushina had gone inside, they were about to leave when a clear voice rang out behind them.

"You're Uchiha Liuyun? The one who beat Minato Namikaze, whom Jiraiya has been keeping an eye on?"

Liuyun turned and took a good look at the beautiful woman before him.

She had long golden hair and wore a jonin vest. There was weariness in her face; she looked as though she had just returned from a mission.

Even so, nothing could hide her mature beauty or her graceful, flawless figure.

The faint, alluring scent she wore drew him in like a deadly poison.

The generous curves at her chest were the finishing touch. Once he looked, he could hardly tear his eyes away.

This was Tsunade, the future Fifth Hokage, now in the most beautiful years of her life.

"You little brat! You're a lecher, all right. Just like Jiraiya!"

Tsunade glared at him, her tone sharp. "I asked you a question. Are you Uchiha Liuyun?"

"I am." Liuyun nodded, then said with an earnest expression, "You must be Lady Tsunade. I'm not being lecherous. Any man would react this way when faced with someone as beautiful as you."

"Hah! Sweet-talking at your age? Little girl, you'd better get away from this boy while you can."

"With his personality, he's bound to grow up into a pervert!"

Tsunade pursed her lips in disdain.

"Don't worry, Lady Tsunade. I believe Liuyun isn't like that!"

Uchiha Mikoto spoke with complete sincerity.

"Hah! You've got some tricks, brat. You've already got this little girl wrapped around your finger. You're much better at it than Jiraiya!" Tsunade turned back to mock him.

"Did you need something from me, Lady Tsunade?"

Liuyun changed the subject. If this went on, who knew whether the violent woman might start throwing punches?

"Not really. I just wanted to see what the boy Kushina keeps talking about looks like."

Tsunade touched her chin. "Now that I've seen you, you're nothing special. Just a lecherous little brat."

Pervert this, pervert that. What did I ever do to you?

An inexplicable anger surged through Liuyun, but he quickly forced it down.

He knew he was no match for the violent woman yet.

Give him a few years, though, and Liuyun would make sure the farthest Tsunade ever went was to the bathroom.

He took a deep breath and smiled, about to speak.

Then the system's voice sounded in his head.

The host's perverted soul has been detected soaring to the heavens. He greatly wishes to embark on a journey of enlightenment with Tsunade, but unfortunately lacks the strength.

Host, please choose one of the following options.

1. Get Tsunade to kiss you. Reward: Chakra doubled!

2. Get Tsunade to give you a tight hug. Reward: stamina doubled.

3. Get Tsunade to kiss and hug you. Reward: mental energy, Chakra, and stamina each doubled!

Those rewards are fucking incredible. Liuyun stared at the options in his mind and swallowed despite himself.

No wonder Tsunade was one of the women countless fans of the original story dreamed of having.

The rewards spoke for themselves. One set of Tsunade's options was worth two days of effort.

"Brat! What are you thinking? Keep looking at me like that and I'll send you flying!"

Tsunade rolled her wrists and spoke through gritted teeth.

"Nothing! Nothing! You've got the wrong idea, Lady Tsunade!"

Liuyun hurriedly waved his hands, his eyes darting about.

An idea immediately came to him. The three options looked difficult, but if you knew Tsunade's personality, they were practically free points.

Without hesitation, Liuyun chose the third option, which offered the greatest reward.

He gave her an amiable smile, looking like a sly little fox.

"I've heard you're Konoha's God of Gamblers, Lady Tsunade. I may not be much, but I'd like to challenge you."

"God of Gamblers?" Tsunade raised an eyebrow, and her eyes lit up.

Her hostile expression vanished at once. She patted Liuyun on the shoulder, clearly pleased with the title.

"That's right! I'm Konoha's God of Gamblers. So you want to challenge me?" she asked proudly.

"Yes! Everyone says your gambling skills are incredible, but I don't believe them!" Liuyun said with a straight face.

"No problem! Today I'll show you what Konoha's famous God of Gamblers can do!"

The fatigue vanished from Tsunade's face, replaced by excitement.

"Lady Tsunade, Liuyun's still young. He can't gamble!"

Uchiha Mikoto spoke up. She twisted the corner of her clothes between her fingers, her small face tense.

"Don't worry, Mikoto. We won't bet money. We're just having a friendly match!"

"Exactly! Just a friendly match! Don't worry, I won't make your little boyfriend lose too badly!"

Tsunade patted her chest magnanimously, then casually pulled three dice from it.

Now that was ample storage.

Liuyun curled his lip to himself. She thinks she won't lose to me? Does she have no idea how bad her luck is?

Uchiha Mikoto stared wide-eyed at Tsunade's chest, her dark eyes full of envy.

"All right, brat! Let's start. What are we playing?" Tsunade could hardly wait to show off in front of her new little admirer.

"Let's keep it simple. Highest total wins!" Liuyun said with an easy smile.

"Very well! As Konoha's God of Gamblers, I ought to act like a senior. You can go first!"

Tsunade handed him the dice, every inch the confident expert.

Liuyun crouched by the gates of the Senju Clan Compound and tossed them. The three dice landed and spun rapidly across the ground.

A moment later, they stopped: one, one, and two. Four points in total!

"Four points!"

Mikoto gave Liuyun an odd look, then secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

Fortunately, this was only a friendly match. If they had wagered anything, Liuyun would have lost badly!

Tsunade was nowhere near as restrained as Mikoto. She laughed so hard she could barely close her mouth, her chest shaking along with her.

She looked nothing like the princess of Konoha.

"Four points! Four points!" I thought my gambling luck was bad, but his is even worse.

"It's not over yet, Lady Tsunade. Your turn!" Liuyun's expression did not change.

"Brat, today I'll show you why they call me Konoha's God of Gamblers!"

Tsunade snatched up the dice and threw them to the ground, brimming with confidence.

The three dice spun. Before long, the first stopped, showing a single red pip: one point.

Tsunade's expression did not change. She folded her arms. "Relax. There are still two dice."

The second die stopped. Another single red pip appeared.

The confidence began to fade from Tsunade's face. Her voice was flat, with a trace of tension beneath it. "No need to panic. There's still one left!"

Inside, she was frantic. Please don't be a one. Please don't be a one.

The heavens apparently had not heard Tsunade's prayer. They went against her without a moment's hesitation.

The last die came to rest on one as well.

One, one, one. Three points in total—one less than Liuyun.

Uchiha Mikoto's mouth fell open. She looked at Tsunade strangely. This was Konoha's God of Gamblers?

She had thought Liuyun's luck was bad enough. Somehow, Lady Tsunade's was even worse.

Liuyun had known how it would turn out, so he was not surprised at all.

He shook his head slightly, his eyes filled with undisguised disappointment.
