Background and History

Winter first meets Su Yi after she and her younger brother, 108, kill Rag. Su Yi offers information on Mad Dog’s weaknesses and fifty Void Abyss Coins in exchange for their help. She accepts, then plans the fight around Mad Dog’s poor agility and vulnerable exoskeleton 6 9. Their cooperation grows into an ongoing partnership: Winter organizes missions, maintains the Players’ connection to Su Yi and helps them secure work with the Revolutionary Army 24 26.

As leader of the Ten Pioneers, Winter advises veterans on handling newcomers, protects information about Su Yi from potentially reckless Players and coordinates operations across faction lines 68 113 174. Her battlefield observations after Diamond City’s victory lead Su Yi to offer her command of the Moon-Drinking Azure Wolf’s planned first fleet, which she accepts 224 225.

Winter later becomes one of Su Yi’s closest technical collaborators. Their work combines her hacking with his Binary Magic, eventually giving her access to planetary computing resources and then a portable Binary Magic core 184 331 393 418. When Su Yi warns her of an impending stellar detonation, she trusts their private signal and leads the fleet away rather than returning for him 423.
