History

Darkwater Shadow Leopards live in the Mist Marsh of the southeastern Sunset Forest. Dugu Bo recommended one to Ling Yun, who wanted a ten-thousand-year fourth Soul Ring suited to speed or stealth. The beast they encountered was approximately 13,000 years old 14.

It ambushed Ling Yun in the marsh. He wounded it, located its true body amid its mist-born decoys, and knocked it into the shallows. Dugu Bo suppressed its final struggle, allowing Ling Yun to deliver the killing blow 14.

During Soul Ring absorption, the leopard’s lingering will attacked Ling Yun through a Soul Shock. Ling Yun and his Greninja Martial Soul defeated it in the resulting mental confrontation, completing the absorption 15.

Appearance

A nearly four-meter-long leopard-like beast with a dark-blue body 14.

Speed and concealment

• Moves at exceptional speed and favors sudden, explosive attacks 14.

Mist decoys

• Compresses surrounding mist into dozens of hazy leopard shapes, obscuring the location of its true body 14.
