Arc 9The Battle for Tarrok

Cheng Mingrui defeated the World Devourer, built up the Fengrao system, and led a vast Ork fleet through the Warp to Tarrok. After reaching the system and driving the Tyranids back, he found himself trapped with Khorne’s forces in a crimson region of space as Chaos Space Marines boarded Boss Slick’s Ship.

  • Cheng Mingrui and the Orks destroyed the World Devourer, and Rottooth joined the Screw Clan as the Tyranids withdrew from Fengrao.
  • Cheng Mingrui organized the Fengrao system’s development, planned an Ork Battle Star, and promoted Crooked Mouth to Big Mek while upgrading Boss Slick’s Ship.
  • Cheng Mingrui left Fengrao with five thousand warships, and the Waaagh! Field guided the fleet through the Warp toward Tarrok despite daemonic dangers.

Arc 10The Sleeping Boss

Cheng Mingrui defeated Angron but fell into a coma after a crimson thread entered his heart, while the Screw Clan fought the Tyranids and Necrons across the Tarrok System. Three years later, Daft destroyed a World Devourer with the Mighty Big Boss, but the Great Devourer possessed a Slaughter Tyrant and advanced on the unconscious Boss Slick.

  • Boss Copperhead and the Screw Clan crushed Khorne's forces across the Abyss worlds, while Cheng Mingrui's blood summoned Angron aboard Boss Slick's Ship.
  • Cheng Mingrui drew on the Orks' Waaagh! energy to fight Angron for three days, killed him, and mounted his skull on his Boss Rack before collapsing in his Medical Pod.

Boss Slick awakened, gathered the Screw Clan’s forces, and led them into Octaria, where they broke through the Tyranid fleet and conquered Ork V. As Boss Slick prepared to face the fortified Tyranids at Number 2, Kuka won Kundra’s permission to show the Blood Axes the Great Waaagh.

  • Hols awakened Boss Slick, who rallied the Orks, protected them from the Tyranids’ attacks, and defeated the Slaughter Tyrant.
  • Ovisus described a prophecy of a crimson-bathed Ork demigod, while Rottooth told Boss Slick that Octaria had fallen and rival Warbosses claimed the title of New Great Warboss.
  • Boss Slick organized his forces across the sector, gathered fifty thousand warships and three billion Orks, and prepared to attack Octaria.
  • The Great Devourer rejected Tzeentch’s offer of aid and evolved the Tyranids for an all-out war, while Magnus mobilized the Thousand Sons’ cults.

  • Kuka’s battle broadcasts drew Kundra’s Waaagh! toward Octaria, while Grem and Goldtooth ended their feud and joined Boss Slick’s Great Waaagh.
  • Boss Slick led the Orks in a costly war against the Tyranids, destroyed World Devourers, and used salvaged resources and Waaagh! energy to rebuild the Matter Generator.
