• Lugia circled Windswept City in a gentle breeze, gave Li Wei a Silver Wing, and departed amid the citizens’ cheers.
• Ash and the others shared news of the wildfire rescue in the Chat Group, and Lorelei arranged for two Rangers to protect Back Mountain.
• Old Lady Jade told Li Wei how her Snubbull had died saving the key to the Abandoned Power Plant, and Li Wei said he had seen Snubbull’s ghost there.
• Old Lady Jade agreed to revisit the power plant, and Li Wei offered Arcanine or Corviknight to take her up the mountain.
• Lorelei told Zeraora that the Rangers would arrive the next day, while Blue and Yellow left for Viridian City and Ash arranged to meet Dawn in Sandgem Town.

Li Wei and Dawn returned to the Breeding Center after helping Windswept City, and Li Wei planned treatment for the injured Zeraora he had caught. He learned that a video of the wildfire response and Lugia giving him a Silver Wing had gone viral, making Zeraora famous as well.

• After Snubbull's spirit faded, Old Lady Jade reconciled herself with her fear of losing Pokémon and agreed to advise Li Wei about building a power plant at the Breeding Center.
• Li Wei and Dawn flew back to Cianwood City, then took a flight to Jubilife while Lorelei stayed behind to meet the Rangers.
• On the flight, Li Wei planned to have Nurse Joy examine Zeraora and develop a treatment plan for its old injuries.
• At Jubilife Airport, Dayou told Li Wei he had gone viral again, and Dawn guessed the news involved Lugia.

Dawn set off from Twinleaf Town to receive her first Pokémon, but got lost and ran into Professor Rowan, who brought her to the institute. There, Dawn learned that Chimchar and Piplup had run away, leaving only Turtwig available, and she volunteered to search for them.

• Dawn left home with her egg, her mother's first Ribbon, and a plan to choose a Starter Pokémon at Professor Rowan's institute.

Dawn volunteered to find the runaway Piplup and Chimchar but got lost after they fled into the woods. At the Jubilife Breeding Center, Li Wei reviewed Nurse Joy’s report on Zeraora’s longstanding injuries and learned that recovery would take an estimated six to eight months.

• Professor Rowan let Dawn search for the runaway Piplup and Chimchar after she volunteered to become their Trainer.
• Dawn found Chimchar and Piplup fighting in the woods, dodged Piplup’s Bubble, and watched them run farther into the forest.
• Li Wei arranged for Tauros and Rapidash to get used to the Galarian Ponyta’s shed hair before their planned introduction.
• Nurse Joy completed Zeraora’s examination and told Li Wei that the Pokémon had severe old injuries and had resisted human touch.

• Li Wei’s massage helped Zeraora move its right shoulder and leg with less pain, though Nurse Joy said it would need to rebuild its walking habits gradually.
• Nurse Joy placed Zeraora in the Cryotherapy Chamber for five minutes, and afterward Zeraora’s right leg felt lighter and it managed a few hops.
• Nurse Joy said Zeraora’s recovery might take less than a year, planned daily treatment, and arranged further checks after Rainbow Wing and Shaymin helped and after Lance visited.

Lucario and the other Pokémon gave Zeraora a tour of the Jubilife Breeding Center, introducing it to the staff and the Pokémon living there. After the tour, Li Wei was ready to help Zeraora socialize with eight Galarian Ponyta.

• Lucario, Diancie, and the others led Zeraora around the Breeding Center and introduced it to Arcanine and Luxray at the Security Booth.
• Mizuki, Xiao Meng, and the other staff met Zeraora, and Xiao Meng gave it homemade cookies while Lily suggested it become a Pokémon model.
• Milotic and the Water-type Pokémon welcomed Zeraora at Swan Lake as Dayou and Incineroar trained Machoke in Fire Punch.
• Lucario's group introduced Zeraora to Tauros, Miltank, Carbink, Geodude, Chimchar, and Mankey, whose young Pokémon climbed on Zeraora without upsetting it.
• Aerodactyl and ten other fossil Pokémon greeted Zeraora, and Li Wei prepared to begin socialization work with eight Galarian Ponyta.

Li Wei introduced eight Galarian Ponyta to the Breeding Center’s herd, where Tauros, Rapidash, and the other Ponyta accepted them without trouble. After touring the center, Zeraora was impressed by how humans and Pokémon lived alongside one another and began considering Li Wei’s offer to help manage the Pokémon.

• Li Wei and Dayou brought the Galarian Ponyta to meet the herd after preparing the other Pokémon to recognize their scent.
• Tauros and Rapidash welcomed the first Galarian Ponyta, and the rest joined the herd and began playing with the Ponyta.
• Zeraora watched the peaceful integration and told Li Wei it liked the Breeding Center.
• Li Wei offered Zeraora the chance to help manage the Pokémon after recovering, and Zeraora found the idea interesting.

Zeraora helped serve at the Pokémon Restaurant while recovering, and Dawn called Li Wei to recount her first day with Piplup and her meeting with Ash and Brock. Dawn also described seeing a strange pink-headed Pokémon at Lake Verity, which Li Wei and Professor Rowan identified as the legendary Mesprit.

• Li Wei planned to raise the six Vulpix to be affectionate with people so children could safely interact with them at the Little Ranch.

Li Wei detected a nearby Shiny Pokémon and found a Shiny Torterra traveling with two others, carrying small Pokémon on their backs. After learning they were seeking clean water, he pointed them toward the Breeding Center and left them food, hoping they would visit.

• Li Wei left his workshop after detecting a nearby Shiny Pokémon and flew to Misty Mountain with several of his Pokémon.
• Li Wei found a Shiny Torterra leading two Torterra, with Budew, Pichu, and Cherubi living in nests on their backs.
• Li Wei checked the Torterra and learned they were migrating in search of clean water.
• Li Wei pointed the Torterra toward the Breeding Center and offered to take them there, but the Shiny Torterra chose to walk on its own.
• Li Wei gave the group Pokéblocks and Poffins and said he would wait for them at home.

Li Wei welcomed a Shiny Torterra and two other Torterra to the Breeding Center, where they would roam freely in the Wild Area. Their arrival drew the curiosity of Li Wei’s family and the others, and the Torterra settled in by sharing food with the Pichu on their backs.

• Li Wei saw the three hungry Torterra approaching the Breeding Center and went to meet them with Shaymin and Lucario.
• The Torterra joined the Breeding Center without resistance, and Li Wei considered placing them near Swan Lake.

Lance visited Li Wei to help treat Zeraora and praised the care Li Wei gave his Pokémon. After Lance revealed that Lucario and the others trained because they wanted to protect Li Wei, Li Wei better understood their feelings, and he and Lance took Zeraora to the Pokémon Center for a checkup.

• Lance met Li Wei and discussed his refusal to become Kanto's Champion, while Li Wei explained how he supported each Pokémon's preferences and training.
• Lucario and the others gathered when Li Wei arrived, then returned to training after he explained they were treating Zeraora.

• Families from across Sinnoh visited the Breeding Center, where Mizuki explained Bibarel's habits to Xiaoying.
• Aoli, Yuji, and Hideyoshi returned to photograph the changed center and interviewed Lance about his relaxing visit.
• Mayor Luca visited Li Wei and Lance after touring the new Exhibition Hall and thanked Lance for supporting Sinnoh's operation.
