Chapter Summaries

Meihui returned to find Naruto badly beaten by Dosu, Zaku Abumi, and Qin, and swiftly overpowered the Sound Ninja. After he sent them fleeing, Sasuke woke up.

• Dosu, Zaku Abumi, and Qin attacked Naruto while Sasuke lay unconscious, and Qin used a bell-tipped needle to disorient Naruto before the others beat him.
• Qin held a kunai to Sasuke's throat, forcing Naruto to stop fighting as Dosu and Zaku Abumi continued to hurt him.

Sasuke woke with Orochimaru’s Cursed Seal activated, but Meihui frightened him into suppressing it and then sealed it with a slap. The group headed for the Central Tower with Kiba, Hinata, and Shino, while Hinata tended to Naruto and Meihui watched jealously.
