As Spirit Hall's Holy Maiden, Bibi Dong loved Yu Xiaogang and supported his martial soul research. She secretly supplied him with Spirit Hall's theoretical books and information about operations such as its expedition to Sea God Island 16 330.

Qian Xunji imprisoned her after learning about their relationship. When she insisted that she would abandon her position to remain with Yu Xiaogang, he knocked her unconscious and sexually assaulted her. He then threatened to kill Yu Xiaogang unless she ended the relationship. Her confinement prevented her from attending their planned reunion in Yelin City 330.

Bibi Dong eventually killed and devoured Qian Xunji. This act opened the Rakshasa Secret Realm to her, while her hatred of the Angel Clan suited the Rakshasa God's requirements for an inheritor 39.

Rise to Supreme Pontiff

Unlike Qian Xunji, Bibi Dong lacked the Qian family's entrenched support within Spirit Hall. She secured papal authority with difficulty and personally handled a large administrative workload. Under her leadership, Spirit Hall's influence grew close to surpassing that of the Two Great Empires 38 154.

She gradually brought almost every Titled Douluo below the Worship rank under her banner, weakening Qian Daoliu's influence. Their cooperation concealed opposing intentions: she refused to surrender the authority she had built, while he intended to restore control to Qian Renxue after her Angel God inheritance 38 39 226.

Her political judgment can be calculating rather than purely vindictive. She tries to use Qian Daoliu against Tang San, avoids attacking Xiao Yan when doing so could reunite him with Tang Hao, and later considers exploiting Xiao Yan's companions as leverage 39 208 298 306.

Her attachments to Yu Xiaogang and Qian Renxue remain emotionally painful. She sometimes spares Yu Xiaogang because of their past and breaks down after her daughter's confrontations. After surviving her first death, she openly declares that she wants revenge against everyone in the world; she ultimately identifies the destruction of Spirit Hall and the Angel Clan's foundations as the purpose of her decades-long inheritance 191 206 330 376.
