The three EVAs launched to rescue Zero, but seven Puppet Mass Production Models armed with Replica Lances of Longinus blocked their way. Asuka kept fighting to reach Zero, though the battle remained deadlocked hundreds of meters from the Cross.
Asuka, Kaworu, and Rei struggled to hold off the Puppet Mass Production Models while the black fog disabled NERV’s defenses. Shinji used the light Zero had left him to pilot Unit-01, and the chapter ended as a purple figure rushed to save Asuka from a Replica Lance of Longinus.
Shinji awakened and piloted Unit-01 to save Asuka, then fought the Mass Production Models while trying to revive Zero. The Mass Production Models hurled their Replica Lances at Unit-01 just as the Final Angel broke into NERV’s underground base, leaving humanity in grave danger.
The Ultra Brothers arrived to defend Earth from the Puppet Mass Production Models, and Ultraman fought one in Hong Kong. He destroyed it with a series of attacks and a Specium Ray, while the other Ultra Brothers battled across the world.
Ultraseven arrived in Shanghai and fought a Mass Production Model that was about to attack a shelter full of civilians. He destroyed it, leaving the rescued people cheering and Huang Zhetian deeply impressed by his courage.
Ultraman Jack arrived in Singapore and defeated the rampaging Mass Production Model. After destroying its body with his Ultra Bracelet, he annihilated every fragment with an Ultra Ray.
Ultraman Ace defeated the Mass Production Model threatening the United Nations building in New York, while Taro destroyed another one in San Francisco. After making sure the monsters’ remains could not regenerate, both heroes headed back into the sky.
Ultraman Leo, Astra, and Ultraman 80 defeated Mass Production Models in London, Paris, and Dubai, then flew toward Tokyo-3 hoping Zero was safe. The chapter ended with the author apologizing for slow updates and promising a steadier schedule.
Ultraman Mebius fought a Mass Production Model in Toronto to protect the people hiding in an underground shelter. He destroyed it with his Flame Brave form and flew away after reassuring the shelter.
Ultraman Hikari fought the Mass Production Model in Moscow and, after Arb’s blessing gave him the Armor of Courage, destroyed it with the Rainbow Knight Beam. He then flew toward Tokyo-3.
Zoffy and Pedanium Unit-03 battled the Mass Production Models while the other EVAs rescued Zero. After the Ultra Brothers assembled to free him, the Final Angel appeared over Tokyo-3, setting up their next confrontation.
The Final Angel overwhelms the Ultra Brothers and forces Shinji and the others to retreat without rescuing Zero. At NERV’s base, the injured survivors regroup, and Shinji asks Riku Asakura why he is there.
As the Ultra Brothers and the others regrouped after failing to rescue Zero, Takeshi Yamato and Dan Moroboshi comforted Shinji and Asuka and urged them to keep believing in him. Shinji found the resolve to trust Zero, while Kaworu and Rei reflected on the bond between humans and Ultraman.
Riku Asakura learned that Zero’s life-energy signature had vanished and rushed to support him, while sending Laiha and PeGa toward Z’s universe. At NERV, Ritsuko’s teacher secretly replaced Lilith with a decoy, and Ultraman Geed arrived as the Final Angel headed for Tokyo-3.
Riku transformed into Royal Mega-Master Geed and destroyed Galactron MK2, but the black fog left him critically weakened. He collapsed while trying to reach the underground NERV base and was rescued by NERV staff, with two armored figures helping carry him.
Riku explained how he had reached the base, and Hayata Shin revealed that the Ultra Brothers had arrived quickly with energy given by the Land of Light and the Plasma Spark Core. The Ultra Brothers had sealed the Final Angel temporarily, while the group prepared to rescue Zero, and a familiar voice suddenly spoke through Shinji.
White Belial emerged from Shinji’s pocket and offered to help rescue Zero in exchange for energy, while Riku agreed to supervise him. Belial revealed to Shinji and Asuka that transforming again would leave him trapped in the capsule, a fate he chose because guilt over his past crimes tormented him.
Shinji asked the Ultra Brothers to let him fight alongside Belial so he could help save Zero, and they agreed after hearing his reasons and securing Belial’s oath to protect him. Hikari then brought up the battle plan as the rescue deadline approached.
Mirai reassured Kaworu Nagisa and Rei Ayanami that the Ultra Warriors could heal their bodies after Zero returned, then showed them a recording of his former teammates. Rei began to understand Zero’s advice to seek out bonds.
The humans and Ultra Warriors prepared a plan to rescue Zero while holding off Xeronus, whose power threatened the universe. As the Final Angel broke through the seal, Geed Ultimate Final and Infinite Mebius faced him, beginning the final battle.
Geed Ultimate Final and Infinite Mebius fought Saberuno’s Final Angel while the other heroes tried to free Zero. Shinji broke the Angel’s AT Field with the Lance of Longinus and transformed Unit-01 into White Belial, who joined Ultimate Force Zero to continue the rescue.
Belial fought the Mass Production Models with the Ultimate Force Zero, then summoned the Ultimate Battle Nizer and destroyed the three attacking him. He entered Zero’s Mindscape with Shinji to help revive him, leaving the other fighters to continue hoping for Zero’s return.
Belial and Shinji entered Zero's Mindscape and found him trapped in Angel flesh and under Saberuno's control. After Saberuno revealed how he had turned Zero into a puppet, Dark Zero prepared to fight Belial.
Infinite Mebius and Geed Ultimate Final fought the Final Angel to buy time for Belial and the others, but its layered A.T. Fields and bizarre attacks overwhelmed them. Mebius was gravely wounded and buried beneath rubble, leaving Geed alone to face the Angel.
Geed Ultimate Final evolved under pressure and joined Infinite Mebius in a powerful assault on the Final Angel Saberuno. The Angel was struck and pinned, but the chapter ended with Infinite Mebius near the limit of his fusion and unsure whether the battle was over.
