With the Queen Mother of the West agreeing to discreetly send King Arthur evidence of Cavendish’s attack, Du Yu went to Mount Unreturning to borrow Chi Ghost, whose blood arts might save Zhan Qisheng.

• Du Yu returned to the Legend Management Bureau, where Dong Qianqiu explained that Cavendish’s devil’s blood had contaminated Zhan Qisheng and caused a severe reaction.
• Du Yu let Chada speak through him to thank Shiranui Asuka, then advised the Queen Mother of the West to send King Arthur Dong Qianqiu’s recording anonymously rather than confront him directly.

• Ramla explained that she wanted Du Yu to prove his strength and planned to marry him, while Du Yu was stunned by her plans to overthrow Zeus and by the gods’ incestuous family histories.
• Ramla revealed that Zeus wanted to marry his daughter Athena, who was also the goddess of wisdom and virginity, and joined Du Yu and Shiranui Asuka on the Teleportation Device.

Du Yu stopped fighting Hera and went with Shiranui Asuka to the Temple of Athena, where they spent the evening with Gorgon. When Poseidon attacked Gorgon, Ramla restrained Du Yu and forced him to watch; after Poseidon left at dawn, Du Yu rushed to Gorgon, who lay gravely injured.

• Du Yu ended his fight with Hera after Dong Qianqiu warned that killing her could bring war, then teleported with Shiranui Asuka to the Temple of Athena.
• Du Yu and Shiranui Asuka rested at the temple while Gorgon prayed to Athena, and Du Yu watched the stars.

Du Yu failed to save Medusa from Athena but warned her of her fate and let her flee, then decided his work correcting Athena’s legend was finished. Back on Mount Olympus, he found the injured Ganymede asking to be thrown into the river of stars, and learned that he would become Aquarius.

• Athena turned Gorgon into Medusa, and Du Yu narrowly escaped being petrified when he met her gaze.
• Medusa set off to hide, while Du Yu warned her that Athena would pursue her and told her how she would die in the future.
• Dong Qianqiu explained that the world corrected contradictions in history and could be destroyed if a flaw proved irreparable.

Du Yu, Qu Xi, and Shiranui Asuka entered the Japanese creation legend to act as the God who guided Izanagi and Izanami. Asuka’s seasickness left Du Yu to improvise, and the pair created their first island, Onogoroshima.

• Du Yu realized the legend’s contradiction: God was said to guide Izanagi and Izanami even though no other gods existed, so the group decided to take on that role.
• Du Yu, Qu Xi, and Shiranui Asuka traveled to the High Plain of Heaven, where Asuka repeatedly vomited from seasickness.

Du Yu suddenly suffered repeated attacks with no visible attacker, and he entered his inner world after hearing two women fighting there.

• Du Yu carried the seasick Shiranui Asuka onto Onogoroshima, where she confirmed the island's name and urged Izanagi to plant his spear.
• Izanagi and Izanami transformed the spear into the Heavenly Pillar, and Shiranui Asuka persuaded them to raise the High Plain of Heaven into the sky.

Back in Takamagahara, the group waited for Izanagi and Izanami to discover the line needed to advance, and Shiranui Asuka celebrated when they said it.

• Chada and Zhongli Chun fought in Du Yu’s inner world until Du Yu stopped them and discovered that Chada had left his Translation Talisman aside.
• After Chada retrieved the talisman, Zhongli Chun learned he was Du Yu’s friend and apologized for attacking him.
• Du Yu told Zhongli Chun she had slept for ten days and warned her that using the strength born from anger could turn her into a Demon and make her forget him.

Du Yu and the others supervised Izanagi and Izanami as they began creating Japan, but their attempt to produce a child went wrong when their comments transformed the newborn into a giant leech. Du Yu was left confronting the monstrous result and scolding the two gods.

• Izanagi and Izanami circled the Heavenly Pillar, praised each other's appearance, and embraced before Shiranui Asuka turned off the image to shield the children watching.

After Izanagi spoke first on their next attempt, the pair gave birth to Japan’s eight great islands and six more, until Asuka rushed to stop them from creating further islands.

• Du Yu and Zhan Qisheng left Izanagi and Izanami after their first child became a leech, then brought the pair to Shiranui Asuka for an explanation.
