Su Yu arrived in the world of One Piece, adapted to its laws, and drifted to the Baratie, where he enjoyed Sanji’s cooking. After paying with gold, he hinted that he and Sanji would meet again, while Zeff warned Sanji that Su Yu was more dangerous than he appeared.
Su Yu opened the Wish-Granting Bar in Sabaody Archipelago, where Silvers Rayleigh arrived to test its expensive liquor and its promise to grant wishes. Their conversation was interrupted by Abeli the Giant Blade and his pirates, who demanded free drinks, leaving Su Yu facing their threats.
Su Yu stopped Abeli and his crew from attacking his bar, then delivered them to the Marines to collect Abeli’s 120 million Beli bounty. After returning, he served Rayleigh a drink, and Rayleigh asked why someone with Su Yu’s strength had opened a bar.
Su Yu explained to Rayleigh that he had opened his bar to gather wish power by granting customers’ wishes. Meanwhile, a boy whose parents were killed by the Fierce Wolf Pirates set out to sea seeking strength and revenge, leaving his future destination unknown.
Su Yu’s bar continued attracting attention as he granted a penniless teenage boy’s request to become stronger in exchange for work. The boy asked for power rivaling the Shichibukai, and the bar’s pirates laughed at him.
Su Yu granted Miland a Pegasus Cloth that he said would give him strength rivaling the Shichibukai. He transformed the tavern into a vast arena so Miland and Abel could test the armor, and their battle began.
Miland tested the Cloth by fighting Abel and discovered it gave him powerful defenses, speed, and reflexes, allowing him to defeat a Marine Rear Admiral with ease. Abel conceded, while pirates began plotting to steal the armor once Miland left the bar.
Miland tested the Cloth’s power by fighting the pirates, defeating Bonecrusher Sada before the remaining pirates attacked together. They pinned him down and shot at his forehead, leaving his fate uncertain.
Miland survived a point-blank shot thanks to his God Cloth and used Pegasus Meteor Fist to kill the pirates who had attacked him. Su Yu gave him a Log Pose to find his enemy, and Miland left the Wish-Granting Bar to seek revenge.
Miland flew toward the Fierce Wolf Pirates while Abel reported Su Yu’s wish-granting power to Fleet Admiral Sengoku. Sengoku called Su Yu to recruit him into the Marines, but after Su Yu declined, Sengoku stopped him before the call ended.
Su Yu set the price of a Cloth for Sengoku, who agreed to trade seven Zoan Devil Fruits for one and sent Kizaru to collect it from Sabaody. The chapter ended with a bloody massacre underway on a small island northwest of the Sabaody Archipelago.
Miland tracked down the Fierce Wolf Pirates and killed them to avenge his parents and the destruction of his village, A Queen. Afterward, he found purpose in returning to work for the boss and flew toward the Sabaody Archipelago.
Abel brought Admiral Kizaru to Su Yu’s tavern to exchange seven Devil Fruits for a bronze case requested by Fleet Admiral Sengoku. Kizaru tried to demonstrate Marine power by attacking the pirates in the tavern, but his move angered someone.
Su Yu released an overwhelming pressure that stopped Kizaru’s attack and forced everyone in the bar to the ground. After Kizaru fled, Su Yu told Rayleigh that he was nearly ten thousand years old, leaving Rayleigh stunned.
Su Yu revealed to Rayleigh that he was nearly ten thousand years old and could be considered a god in the One Piece World. He explained that he came from beyond this world, leaving Rayleigh shaken by the existence of countless worlds before Rayleigh regained his composure.
Rayleigh accepted that Su Yu was a god and told Shakky what he had learned, while Miland returned from his revenge and began settling into life at the bar. At Marine Headquarters, Kizaru reported that Su Yu had overwhelmed him, leaving Sengoku and Garp stunned.
Sengoku and Garp decided the Navy could not oppose the overwhelmingly powerful bar owner and opened the bronze box containing the Cygnus God Cloth. After the Cloth froze Garp and rejected all three Navy officers, a tall, powerful newcomer entered, and they saw a possible solution.
Kuzan touched the Cygnus Cloth and became the second Saint Seiya in the One Piece world, gaining enhanced abilities and the Diamond Dust technique. After learning about the Cloth and its origins, he tested its power against Garp, leaving the training ground frozen and both fighters exhausted.
Aokiji tested the Cygnus Cloth against Garp and proved strong enough to fight him to a standstill before Sengoku sent the Cloth to Vegapunk for study. Meanwhile, Doflamingo learned that a youth had wiped out the Fierce Wolf Pirates and ordered Pica to investigate him.
Doflamingo investigated Miland and the Wish-Granting Bar, then decided to travel to the Sabaody Archipelago with Pica and Diamante. While Su Yu counted the wish energy he had gathered at the bar, several uninvited guests arrived in the archipelago.
Rayleigh brought Sabo, Koala, and Hack of the Revolutionary Army to meet Su Yu and negotiate for armor like Armor Boy’s. Sabo presented seven Zoan Devil Fruits as payment, and the meeting began with the Revolutionary Army’s offer on the table.
Sabo obtained a Cloth chest from Su Yu on Dragon’s behalf, then left with Koala, Hack, and Rayleigh. Doflamingo, Pica, and Diamante arrived at the Wish-Granting Bar, frightening the customers.
Su Yu confronted Doflamingo after he came to demand justice for his men and drove him out of the bar with overwhelming pressure. Doflamingo fled Sabaody with Pica and Diamante, while Miland and the watching pirates were left stunned by Su Yu’s power.
After venting his fury over Su Yu's humiliation, Doflamingo returned to Dressrosa with Pica and Diamante and resolved to seek help from another powerful figure. The chapter ended as Kaido, the Governor-General of the Beasts Pirates, received a call on his Den Den Mushi.
Kaido learned from Doflamingo about a bar in the Sabaody Archipelago that could grant any wish and decided to visit it, hoping to find a worthy fight and perhaps a way to die. He transformed into a Divine Dragon and flew into the clouds, bound for Mangrove No. 13.
