• Vincent tried to save the people of Red Moon Town as Arnold’s Feysac forces attacked, while Edward evacuated Moon Town’s residents and took Vanessa to safety.
• Edward entered the Church of Serenity, where Arianna revealed her gamble as the Evernight Goddess’s vessel, but the Monarch of Decay later killed the Evernight Goddess and gave her Uniqueness and Sequence One characteristic to the Mother of Heaven.
• The Mother of Heaven chose to live as the Evernight Goddess, while George III considered using the Magic Wishing Lamp in his apotheosis ritual and learned that the Church of Evernight was yielding ground to the Church of Storms.
• Amon confronted Klein in Backlund, but Richard Ernst restrained him and Leonard and Pallez extracted Worms of Time from his avatars.

The True Creator confronted God Almighty’s memories and the consequences of his own past while war engulfed the nations and Klein struggled to answer prayers from across the world. The True Creator chose to merge with God Almighty, leaving Edward to tell Klein to come and stop him.

• The True Creator healed Moon City’s hunting squad, told them the Fool had come to bring salvation, and joined them to hunt for food.
• Edward and the Monarch of Decay investigated the Eastern Continent’s seal and its unusual people, while Audrey traveled with Richard through the Highlands.
• George III invaded Lenburg and claimed neighboring lands, but Herabergen fell to Leodero, who then turned his attack toward Intis.
• The True Creator escaped God Almighty’s memories and resolved to protect humanity, while Klein rescued people from the Sunken Laurel and learned that Azik was aboard it.
• Edward altered the True Creator’s dream, forcing him to face his followers’ devotion, the human trafficking they accepted, and his own role in Earth’s destruction.

Klein and his allies struggled to survive as divine battles devastated Backlund and Intis, ending with the God of Steam and Machinery's death and the Hidden Sage's ascension. Klein resolved to pursue greater power and stop George III, while Alger took charge of rebuilding the Sea God Church.

• Klein helped Emlyn rescue Utravsky from the church deacons, but Utravsky stayed behind to clear a path for Emlyn's escape.
• Medici and the God of Steam and Machinery fought Cheek until Klein impersonated Amon through the gray fog and helped drive her away.
