Arc 27The Dream Festival

Lumian defeated Hisoka and followed his trail to Tizamo, where he uncovered a recurring dream tied to the Dream Festival and a black boulder in the jungle. The festival began turning the town’s residents violent, and Lumian’s group ended up searching for Amandina after finding her missing from Palm Manor.

  • Lumian exposed Hisoka’s schemes, killed him, and later returned Tevanaco’s head to Camus and Reyasa in exchange for access to the Tizamo files.
  • Lumian questioned Tizamo residents and investigated Tevanaco’s rebuilt house, where he discovered an empty-town dream connected to the Dream Festival and the primitive tribe.
  • Lumian brought Camus and Riya into the dream, where a second Riya attacked them, then learned that Tizamo’s residents had become unusually docile and emotionally subdued.
  • Lumian used the Mystery-Peering Glasses and the Eye of Truth to trace the anomaly to a black boulder deep in the Primeval Jungle, but the Dream Festival began before he could enter the special dream again.
  • Lumian and Riya found Priest Kali proclaiming the festival and urging people to indulge their desires, while Camus fought Loban and found Kolobo missing from the Police Headquarters.
  • Lumian rescued Lugano from Ludwig’s attack, warned Camus and Riya to avoid the Briu Inn, and took them to Palm Manor to look for Amandina.
  • Lumian stopped servants from attacking a maid and disarmed the armed servants at Palm Manor, but learned Amandina had left with Robert before the group found her looking out from Tevanaco’s house.
Chapters 651–675 Vol. 7 Read

Ch. 651A plot that never came to fruition

Camus learned that Tevanaco had infiltrated the Patrol Team, while Lumian uncovered Hisoka’s scheme to exploit the Tarot Club’s trust and attack him. Hisoka’s revenge plot had failed, and Lumian turned to question him about the people who had attacked the Patrol Team.

  • Camus saw Sowu dead and asked Reyasa how Sowu and other Patrol Team members had come under the Rose School’s control.
  • Reyasa said Tevanaco was probably responsible, then explained that Tevanaco had defected from the Rose School, joined the Temperance Faction, and believed in The Fool.
  • Hisoka revealed that he had been a member of the Temperance Faction and claimed he could have killed Lumian if the Tarot Club had sent him to help with the investigation.
  • Lumian deduced that Hisoka had infiltrated the Temperance Faction to serve the Celestial Worthy and planned to exploit the Tarot Club’s trust to get close to him.
  • Lumian explained that his companions and a special trace expert had helped him avoid asking the Tarot Club for a guide, frustrating Hisoka’s plan.
  • Lumian reviewed how Hisoka’s revenge plot had failed, then asked who had caused trouble at the Patrol Team.

Ch. 652"When joy turns to sorrow"

Lumian interrogated Hisoka in a dream, killed him when he began to lose control, and brought his corpse and corrupted Beyonder Characteristic to the others. The Pride Armor then unexpectedly attacked Lumian and the group, leaving them caught in a destructive Storm of Light.

  • Hisoka told Lumian that he had controlled Fallen and confirmed that he had hidden something in Tizamo Town and stolen gold in Devis.
  • When Hisoka began to lose control, Lumian escaped the dream and stabbed him through a detected weakness with a flaming sword, while Hella stopped his Wraith Transformation.
  • Hisoka's Beyonder Characteristic emerged corrupted and fused with his goat-horn remnants, and Hella allowed Lumian to take both it and the corpse.
  • Lumian returned to Franca, Jenna, and Anthony, explained Hisoka's defeat, and proposed having Madam Magician find an Artisan to seal the dangerous Characteristic.
  • Franca returned the Pride Armor, which suddenly attacked Lumian and unleashed a Storm of Light that destroyed crates and shattered Franca, Jenna, and Anthony into fragments.

Ch. 653Lumian's choice

After defeating Hisoka, Lumian decided to remain in the Southern Continent to pursue Hunter advancement amid its conflicts, while Franca stored the enraged armor and Lumian asked Madam Magician to turn Hisoka’s Beyonder Characteristic into a Sealed Artifact. In Port Pylos, Reyasa and Camus learned that Tevanaco remained at large, and a patrol member announced another visit from the man in the straw hat.

  • Franca retrieved the Full-Body Armor after it stopped attacking, and Lumian explained that he planned to stay in the Southern Continent to pursue the conflicts that would help him advance as a Hunter.
  • Lumian brought Hisoka’s corpse to Ludwig, who drank a mixture of Guadal, the corpse’s eyes, and its blood to gain a lasting increase in spirituality and other effects.
  • Lumian wrote to Madam Magician asking for Hisoka’s Beyonder Characteristic to be made into a Sealed Artifact, and her Doll Messenger carried away the boxed crystal and letter.
  • Reyasa told Camus that the problematic patrol members were being purged and that Tevanaco, both a Wraith and an Apostle of Desire, had not been caught.
  • A patrol member told Reyasa and Camus that the man in the straw hat had returned.

Ch. 654"Bounty"

Lumian collected Tevanaco’s bounty and asked the Patrol Team for access to the Tizamo Town files and a chance to examine Tevanaco’s playing card. After assessing the card’s dangerous Prisoner Pathway abilities, Lumian began reviewing the town’s records, leaving the investigation into Tevanaco’s past underway.

  • Lumian presented Tevanaco’s head to Camus and Reyasa, who confirmed the Apostle of Desire’s death.
  • Lumian asked for access to all Tizamo Town files and to inspect Tevanaco’s playing card instead of a higher bounty, and Reyasa agreed.
  • Lumian questioned Camus about the Patrol Team’s losses and learned that four members had died while Kolobo was recovering.
  • Lumian touched the playing card, stopped its frost and possession effects with blazing white flames, and warned Camus to treat it as a Sealed Artifact.
  • Camus fetched the Tizamo Town files, and Lumian began sorting through them.

Ch. 655Pleasure

Lumian investigated Tizamo Town’s records, shared his bounty with Camus, and asked him to find people who knew the town. In Trier, Jenna offered to help Franca digest her Pleasure potion, but Franca learned that Jenna did not love her romantically and accepted her advances while grieving that distinction.

  • Lumian reviewed Patrol Team files for clues about Hisoka’s Dream Festival but found no records involving dreams or festivals.
  • Lumian gave his bounty to Camus and asked him to bring people with different connections to Tizamo Town to the Aurela Hotel.
  • Ivelista arrived at the hotel and requested to see Lumian.
  • Franca worried about her Pleasure potion digestion and wondered how to find a partner.
  • Jenna offered to help Franca experience pleasure, but said she could not imagine loving her romantically.
  • Jenna kissed Franca, who responded while mourning that their intimacy was not romantic love.

Ch. 656Choosing a reward

Lumian met Ivelista, a Temperance Faction member investigating the Primeval Jungle, and shared information about Tevanaco and Tizamo Town. After Madam Magician praised his findings and warned him about relying on mysterious forces, she offered him a choice between the Iron-Blooded Knight potion formula and clues to the rest of the Abscessed Severed Hand.

  • Lumian met Ivelista and learned that he had dealt with Tevanaco’s contact and was investigating the Primeval Jungle.
  • Lumian told Ivelista about Tevanaco’s activities in Tizamo Town and his possible connection to a Norse Family devil.
  • Ivelista thanked Lumian, offered help in Matani Province, and explained the beliefs behind the upside-down mausoleums of the Balam Empire’s nobles.
  • Lumian wondered whether the Forsaken Land lay on the other side of the world and planned to look for information in New Silver City.
  • Madam Magician praised Lumian’s discoveries, described the Church of The Fool’s internal review, and offered him a choice of reward: the Iron-Blooded Knight potion formula or clues to the rest of the Abscessed Severed Hand.

Ch. 657Tizamo Town

Lumian chose Madam Magician’s offer to help locate the remaining parts of the Abscessed Severed Hand and planned to investigate Hisoka’s legacy in Tizamo Town. He questioned a merchant from the town about Tevanaco Tupian and learned that Tevanaco returned there every year and stayed in his rebuilt childhood home.

  • Lumian weighed Madam Magician’s offer of the Sequence 4 Iron-Blooded Knight potion formula against help finding the Abscessed Severed Hand’s remains, then chose the latter after remembering his chance to explore the Blue Avenger.
  • Lumian told Madam Magician that he planned to investigate Hisoka’s legacy in Tizamo Town.
  • Camus Castiya brought Lumian three people from Tizamo Town, and Lumian began questioning the merchant about the town’s livelihood, customs, and religious practices.
  • The merchant said Tevanaco Tupian had survived a fire that killed his family a little over six years earlier, then stopped attending Mass and left for Port Pylos.
  • The merchant said Tevanaco returned to Tizamo Town every year and stayed in the house he had rebuilt after the fire; Lumian then asked about the town’s folk festivals.

Ch. 658The yearning deep within

Lumian investigated Tizamo Town and found no evidence of its rumored Dream Festival, while reflecting on his hope of resurrecting Aurora through the Church of the Earth Mother and his need to reach Sequence 4. Franca worried about what would remain of her relationship with Jenna after digesting her Pleasure potion, and Lumian prepared to return to Tizamo with Lugano and Ludwig.

  • Lumian questioned a merchant and two other residents of Tizamo, who described the town's festivals, customs, and recurring clashes with a nearby primitive tribe, but mentioned no Dream Festival.
  • Lumian considered whether Tizamo's residents celebrated the Dream Festival in dreams or whether it belonged to the primitive tribe, and wondered if Hisoka's prank had caused a deadly attack.
  • Lumian resolved to test whether the Church of the Earth Mother could use soul fragments to bring someone back through rebirth, and concluded he needed divinity and Sequence 4 before he could pursue Aurora's resurrection.
  • Franca reflected on her intimacy with Jenna and feared that their emotional closeness might fade when she finished digesting her Pleasure potion.
  • Lumian told Lugano that Tizamo might be dangerous, and Lugano chose to go with him and Ludwig rather than wait in Port Pylos.
  • Camus Castiya arrived by carriage and offered to take Lumian, Lugano, and Ludwig to Tizamo Town.

Ch. 659The pitiful "Monster"

Lumian traveled toward Tizamo Town with Ludwig, Lugano, and Patrol Team members Camus and Kolobo, whose frightening instincts marked the boy as unusually dangerous. Rebels ambushed their carriage on the road, but Lumian and Camus survived the attack, and the group prepared to continue onward.

  • Lumian agreed to let Camus and Kolobo accompany him to Tizamo Town, and he brought Ludwig along because the boy wanted to try the local food.
  • Kolobo told Camus that both Lumian and Ludwig felt dangerously predatory to him, leaving Camus to suspect Ludwig was a powerful and unusual Beyonder.
  • After an hour on the road, Lumian sensed danger and transformed into a shadow as Rebels fired on the carriage, killing or wounding the horse.
  • Camus fought back with his pistol and fireballs, driving the Rebels into the woods, while Lumian chose not to pursue them.
  • Lumian reflected that a surprise rifle shot could still kill him, then told Lugano to check the horse and prepare it to pull the carriage again if it survived.

Ch. 660Inside and outside the door

Lumian and his companions reached Tizamo, where Ludwig raised their dead horse as an undead creature to pull the carriage. In Trier, Franca and Jenna struggled to understand and continue the physical relationship they had begun, while Lumian noticed the reconstructed home of Hisoka Tevanaco across from a restaurant.

  • Lugano found that the horse had died, so Lumian had him stop its bleeding and Ludwig raised it as an undead creature to pull the carriage to Tizamo.
  • Lumian and his companions arrived in Tizamo, where its West Balam-style buildings stood among plantations and spice-scented streets.
  • Franca reasoned that Jenna had offered herself to help digest Franca's Pleasure potion because Jenna cared about her, but Franca remained troubled that Jenna might not love her.
  • Jenna hesitated outside Apartment 702, then decided to continue their relationship until Franca finished digesting her potion and went inside to ask Franca to help prepare dinner.
  • At a restaurant in Tizamo, Lumian looked toward the reconstructed former home of Hisoka Tevanaco across the street.

Ch. 661"Scouting tools"

Lumian investigated Hisoka Tevanaco’s rebuilt house, where Kolobo sensed an unsettling cold throughout the building, but Lumian’s deliberate nap revealed no unusual dreams. He met the local Patrol Team and learned the town had been peaceful for nearly a year, while the team’s mosquito-repellent supplies led him to suspect Ludwig had kept insects away.

  • Lumian searched Tevanaco’s house with Camus, then brought Ludwig and Kolobo inside; Kolobo said the entire house felt cold, while Ludwig detected nothing tasty.
  • Lumian napped on the house’s third floor to test whether the Dream Festival involved dreams, but woke after half an hour without any unusual dreams.
  • Camus introduced Patrol Team captain Maislow, Riya, and Loban, and explained that Lumian was investigating the hidden problems behind Tevanaco.
  • Kolobo told Lugano that Tizamo had a stationed Patrol Team and military Beyonders because primitive tribes often attacked the town.
  • Loban said the town had suffered no attacks in nearly a year, despite the tribe’s past pattern of raids.
  • Maislow gave Lumian mosquito-repellent supplies, and the group realized there were no insects on the second floor; Lumian glanced at Ludwig and accepted the items.

Ch. 662Those Words

Camus and his companions speculated that Louis Berri’s strange aura came from a connection to a deity, while Lumian settled into Tizamo Town and went out to observe its people. He encountered Amandina, and when Camus asked where he was headed, Lumian said he was going to the church.

  • Loban recalled the saying “Do not look directly at a god,” and Camus guessed Louis Berri might carry a divine artifact or aura.
  • Loban asked whether the patrolmen could return to Port Pylos after nearly a year in Tizamo Town, but Camus told him they still had a week to serve.
  • Lumian checked the fortunes of passersby from his inn, then left Lugano and Ludwig to rest while he walked through town.
  • Lumian noticed Amandina, the well-educated daughter of Sir Petit and Mr. Robert’s fiancée, and compared her easy manner to Aurora’s.
  • Camus appeared beside Lumian and asked where he was going, and Lumian invited him to the church to praise the Sun.

Ch. 663Late at night

Lumian investigated Tizamo Town during the day, noticed an abnormality in Priest Kali, and then slept in Hisoka Tevanaco’s rebuilt house to test whether it would trigger the Dream Festival. He woke to find the room changed, with the burned insect remains gone, and checked the time: 11:58 p.m.

  • Lumian visited Tizamo’s church, used Weakness Detection on Priest Kali, and found a faint weakness deep within the priest’s Astral Body.
  • Lumian had Camus guide him around Tizamo Town, including its military camp, plantations, and jungle outskirts.
  • Lumian returned to the inn, then went out late at night to sleep in Hisoka Tevanaco’s rebuilt house and test for a special dream.
  • Lumian questioned Termiboros about the house, but the angel remained silent.
  • Lumian fell asleep and woke in the same room to find the insect corpses he had burned missing, then checked his pocket watch and saw it was 11:58 p.m.

Ch. 664Confirming the boundaries

Lumian explored a seemingly deserted Tizamo Town after entering a special dream by sleeping in Hisoka Tevanaco’s rebuilt house. He encountered an image of Hisoka in the jungle and woke at 1:38 a.m., suspecting the Dream Festival might be tied to December 17.

  • Lumian left Hisoka Tevanaco’s house and found Tizamo Town empty, including the Giant Anaconda bar, Briu Inn, and Saint Sien Church.
  • Lumian used Spirit World Traversal to test the dream’s boundaries, finding a dangerous, misty limit on the road to Port Pylos and a shifting dreamlike boundary in the Primeval Jungle.
  • Lumian ventured deeper into the jungle, where fractured scenes showed Hisoka Tevanaco among people in dark robes before the dream shattered.
  • Lumian woke in Hisoka Tevanaco’s house at 1:38 a.m. and confirmed that the insects and mosquito corpses had returned.
  • Lumian connected the dream images to the Dream Festival and the primitive tribe’s attack on Tizamo Town, then checked the date and found it was December 11.

Ch. 665Clues

Lumian investigated the Dream Festival in Tizamo Town and learned from Madam Magician that two parts of the Abscessed Severed Hand were likely hidden in Morola, while another was in the Underworld. Franca reconnected with the telegram group and arranged a meeting with 007 before sending Lumian a letter; the chapter ended as his messenger lingered after delivering it.

  • Lumian told Camus Castiya that Tevanaco had mentioned the Dream Festival and asked the Patrol Team to collect local dream legends.
  • Madam Magician wrote that two parts of the Abscessed Severed Hand were likely in Morola and warned Lumian to assemble the body there, after finding the part in the Underworld.
  • Madam Magician told Lumian he would have an opportunity to enter the Underworld within three months.
  • Franca received a message from Madam Hella saying 007 had been unable to contact her, then rejoined the telegram group.
  • Franca arranged to meet 007 about Moran Avigny and an exchange for the story of a Humanoid Sealed Artifact, then sent Lumian a letter.
  • Lumian received Franca's letter from the Penitent Bainfel, who lingered instead of returning to the Spirit World.

Ch. 666New information

Lumian investigated Tizamo Town’s recurring deaths and mass hysteria with Camus and Riya, uncovering patterns that pointed toward an approaching danger. He brought them to Hisoka’s house to enter the special dream where the Dream Festival might be held, and Camus awoke there to Lumian’s greeting.

  • Bainfel told Lumian that the night concealed the flowing sin before vanishing, and Lumian wrote down the story of the Humanoid Sealed Artifact for Madam Magician.
  • Camus and Riya reported that Tizamo Town’s deaths and attacks by a primitive tribe clustered in the months after mid-December, while cases of imagined possession and pregnancy recurred in the first half of the year.
  • Riya told Lumian that she had been captured and sold after the Kingdom of Loen’s army attacked her Wind tribe, and that she believed her people were all dead.
  • Lumian invited Camus and Riya to experience the special dream at Hisoka’s house, where sleeping late at night allowed entry.
  • Camus woke beneath the crimson moon inside the dream, and Lumian welcomed him to the Dream Festival.

Ch. 667Gradually growing gentler

Lumian tested the special dream with Camus and Riya, learning that Tizamo's residents gradually lost their warmth under its influence. After leading the Patrol Team members into the Primeval Jungle, they were attacked by another Riya.

  • Camus and Riya confirmed that the empty, silent town was a dream, and Riya recalled having occasional dreams like it before.
  • Riya described Tizamo's residents as unusually docile and lacking warmth, then realized her own emotions had grown subdued during her year in town.
  • Camus said few reinforcements would arrive, as only Captain Reyasa had offered help from the Patrol Team and the General's Guard had declined to send more forces.
  • Lumian led Camus and Riya through the dream town and into the Primeval Jungle, where he told them about a possible mark left by the Apostle of Desire.
  • A second Riya appeared in the trees and shot a lightning-wreathed arrow at Camus.

Ch. 668Dream Person?

Lumian, Riya, and Camus woke from a dream that seemed to contain extreme versions of people’s suppressed emotions, then confirmed they were back in reality. As Camus and Riya chose to stay and confront the Dream Festival problem, Lumian received Madam Magician’s demand for an additional fifty thousand pounds’ worth of gold in exchange for information about a Grade 1 Sealed Artifact.

  • Lumian, Riya, and Camus woke in Hisoka’s house and discussed whether the dream had turned Tizamo’s suppressed emotions into more extreme dream people.
  • Lumian confirmed he was awake after finding Ludwig eating at the Briu Inn, and he questioned Ludwig and Lugano about their dreams.
  • Camus explained to Riya that he would stay to help maintain order and repay Reyasa, while Riya said the Church and Patrol Team had helped her rebuild her life.
  • Riya criticized Camus for pitying her despite his past support for Feynapotter’s invasions and colonial expansion, and Camus connected the plantations’ less docile residents to their time spent in Port Pylos.
  • Madam Magician replied to Lumian’s letter and demanded that the Church of the Eternal Blazing Sun add fifty thousand pounds’ worth of gold to its offer for information about a Grade 1 Sealed Artifact.

Ch. 669Indulgence

Lumian sent Madam Magician’s requirements to Jenna through the Chazot Rabbit, then taught the rabbit to shoot before spending the afternoon in Tizamo with Camus and Riya. That night, Lumian began investigating the abnormalities in Hisoka’s house with the Mystery-Peering Glasses, seeing a distorted view of the surroundings.

  • Lumian summoned the Chazot Rabbit, gave it Madam Magician’s letter, and offered to teach it to shoot as payment for Jenna’s postage.
  • After teaching the Chazot Rabbit in the Primeval Jungle, Lumian went to Bunia’s café, where he met Camus and Riya and learned Reyasa had arrived to help watch him that night.
  • Camus admitted he was attracted to Amandina but would not pursue her because she was engaged, and Amandina introduced herself to Lumian.
  • The Chazot Rabbit delivered Lumian’s letter to Jenna and told her he had taught it to shoot; Jenna offered it an underarm holster and custom bullets as further payment.
  • Lumian, Reyasa, and Maislow gathered at Hisoka’s house, where Lumian put on the Mystery-Peering Glasses to search for the source of the abnormalities.
  • Through the glasses, Lumian saw venomous insects in the sky, circling walls, and a lightless pool of underground water.

Ch. 670Out of nowhere

Lumian investigated the anomaly around Hisoka's house, confirmed its connection to a black boulder in the Primeval Jungle, and tested whether he could enter the special dream by sleeping near the jungle. As candles lit across Tizamo Town, Riya encountered a strangely altered Bunia at the café.

  • Lumian used the Mystery-Peering Glasses and the Eye of Truth at Hisoka's house, learning that the anomaly was linked to a black boulder deep in the Primeval Jungle.
  • Reyasa told Lumian that residents would remain in Tizamo Town through the Dream Festival, and Lumian noticed new visitors arriving at the Briu Inn.
  • Lumian slept near the jungle region corresponding to the dream's overlapping fragments but did not enter the special dream, so he returned to town with Reyasa and Maislow.
  • As Lumian walked back through Tizamo Town, his vision blurred briefly and candles began lighting in houses throughout the streets.
  • Riya went to Bunia Café for food, where Bunia smiled strangely and remarked on her breasts.

Ch. 671The opening

Lumian and Riya found themselves lucid in a violent dreamlike version of Tizamo Town, where locals turned on one another. They reached Saint Sien Church, where Priest Kali declared that the Dream Festival had begun and that all taboos and restrictions were lifted.

  • Bunia attacked Riya, but she kicked him away and held him at arrowpoint until he pleaded that he had lost control.
  • Lumian noticed Reyasa and Maislow had vanished, then fought off a hunting guide and the leather artisan’s axe-wielding son as the town turned violent.
  • Lumian used Shadow Transformation to escape and rejoined Riya, who had also remained lucid; he suggested they were in a dream and they headed toward the church after hearing its bell.
  • Lumian and Riya reached Saint Sien Church, where Priest Kali appeared in a black robe and announced that the Dream Festival had officially begun, urging everyone to unleash their desires and commit any act.

Ch. 672Bigger trouble

Lumian and Riya realized that the Dream Festival could cause injuries and deaths in dreams to manifest in reality, then found Camus fighting his teammates in the Patrol Team headquarters. Lumian learned that Kolobo had also been drawn into the dream and hurried to the Briu Inn after hearing Lugano scream.

  • Riya aimed an arrow at Priest Kali, but Lumian stopped her and explained that harm suffered in the dream could affect victims after they woke.
  • Riya concluded that dream deaths might lead to irreversible deaths over the following months, and Lumian speculated that a jungle tribe helped conceal them as real deaths.
  • Camus woke to find Kolobo missing and Loban attacking him, so he used Mental Piercing and shot Loban in the knee before finding Kolobo hiding in a storage compartment.
  • Lumian and Riya arrived at Police Headquarters, where Camus asked why they remained lucid; Lumian suggested they had entered the dream early by sleeping in Tevanaco's house.
  • When Camus confirmed Kolobo was in the dream, Lumian warned that this meant there could be bigger trouble and used Spirit World Traversal to reach the Briu Inn.
  • Lumian heard Lugano scream in pain and terror outside his suite.

Ch. 673The art of "sealing"

Lumian rescued Lugano from Ludwig by severing his bitten arm, then kept Ludwig occupied with food and spiritual materials, effectively sealing him in the suite until the Dream Festival ended. After warning Camus and Riya to avoid the inn, Lumian set out to investigate Tevanaco’s house, while Riya questioned why Lugano was lucid in the dream.

  • Lumian found Ludwig devouring Lugano’s arm and used a sword to cut off the bitten forearm before teleporting Lugano to the suite doorway.
  • Lumian distracted Ludwig with pastries, provisions, and spiritual materials, keeping him eating while Lugano treated his wound.
  • Lumian teleported himself and Lugano to the Police Headquarters stairwell, leaving Ludwig surrounded by food in the suite.
  • Camus and Riya saw Lugano’s injury, and Lumian warned them to stay away from the Briu Inn and the suite’s doorway.
  • Lumian told Camus and Riya he was going to Tevanaco’s house, and Riya asked why Lugano was lucid too.

Ch. 674The manor

Lumian brought Lugano along while he and the Patrol Team members investigated the Dream Festival, then took them to Palm Manor to help Camus find Amandina. The group split at the manor when Riya ran to stop several slaves from assaulting a maid.

  • Lumian questioned Lugano and learned that, unlike most Dream Festival participants, he remained lucid despite never having entered the special dream before.
  • Lumian decided to keep Lugano close and go with Camus and Riya to Palm Manor rather than search for Captain Reyasa and the others.
  • Camus chose to go to Palm Manor to find Amandina, and Lumian teleported the group there through the Spirit World.
  • At Palm Manor, Camus headed into the main house while Riya ran toward the garden to intervene as several slaves assaulted a maid.

Ch. 675Evil

Riya rescued a mixed-race maid from an assault, only for the maid to attack her and reveal resentment toward Amandina. Lumian and Camus searched Palm Manor for Amandina, learned she had supposedly gone on a date with Robert, and then spotted her watching from a third-floor window at Hisoka's house.

  • Riya drove off the servants attacking a mixed-race maid, but the maid stabbed at Riya before Lumian disarmed her with a Fire Raven.
  • The maid told Lumian that Amandina was asleep in her third-floor room, while Riya insisted she would keep helping people despite their faults.
  • Lumian and the others entered Palm Manor, where they found Madame Simone indulging herself and armed servants exchanging fire with Petit and his butler.
  • Lumian disarmed the servants with fiery birds, then led Camus, Riya, and Lugano up the exterior of the house to search for Amandina.
  • Camus found Amandina's maid holding a bloody dagger and learned Amandina had left an hour earlier on a date with Robert; the group found no trace of her in the manor.
  • Lumian teleported the group to Hisoka's house, where he spotted Amandina looking out from a third-floor window.
