Background / History

Childhood and the Infiltration Plan

Qian Renxue grew up as Spirit Hall’s heir, but Bibi Dong treated her coldly and transferred her hatred of Qian Xunji onto her. Her father, by contrast, was affectionate toward her; she remembered him carrying her through the sky with his angel martial soul before losing him at seven 1 2 87.

At nine, she began demanding training in Heaven Dou etiquette, language, and court behavior. Using an Angel Head Soul Bone to disguise her appearance and martial soul, she assumed Crown Prince Xue Qinghe’s identity and spent six years undercover. The assignment left little time for cultivation, while its secrecy prevented her from explaining her slow progress to most Spirit Hall elders 2 3 13.

Cheng Ran and the Break with Bibi Dong

Cheng Ran entered her body while her own consciousness remained present. Presenting himself as an “Evil God,” he convinced her of his knowledge by identifying her Angel God Seed, her Xue Qinghe disguise, and her family’s secrets 1.

When Bibi Dong and the elders condemned her cultivation, Cheng Ran took control, exposed the Infiltration Plan, and announced that she was abandoning it. His confrontation with Bibi Dong escalated into a three-year duel agreement to settle their mother-daughter relationship. Qian Renxue herself was initially terrified by what he had committed her to 3 4 5.

Afterward, Qian Daoliu told her that Qian Xunji had raped Bibi Dong to keep her in Spirit Hall. Learning the reason for her mother’s resentment did not immediately erase her grief, but Cheng Ran’s support helped her begin rejecting the belief that she had to earn maternal affection through obedience 6.

Building an Independent Following

With Cheng Ran’s medical knowledge, Qian Renxue secured Dugu Bo and Dugu Yan’s allegiance through poison treatment. She framed the arrangement as cooperation rather than subordination. Their expedition to the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well also supplied immortal herbs for her physical tempering and martial soul evolution 10 11 12.

She then pursued resources connected to Tang Hao’s family. While Qian Daoliu lured Tang Hao away, she recovered the Blue Silver Emperor and its hundred-thousand-year right leg bone. Cheng Ran left a threatening message through her body under the false identity of Tang Sect Disciplinary Elder Tang Laoya 19.

Qian Renxue later persuaded Qian Daoliu to simplify six cultivation techniques and distribute them through Spirit Hall’s branches to Angel God believers. Their spread gave ordinary people access to cultivation while building the faith reserves that accelerated her divine inheritance 28 36 52.

Slaughter City and the Divine Trials

In Slaughter City, she developed practical combat experience through repeated arena matches. An ambush outside the arena taught her to maintain constant spiritual surveillance. Over time, her initial uncertainty gave way to enthusiasm for treating dangerous opponents as sources of cultivation experience 31 32.

She also pursued materials for Cheng Ran’s physical reconstruction, identifying Crystal Blood Dragon Ginseng after researching his requirements herself. After clearing Hell Road, she obtained the Divine Slaughter’s Domain and returned to hunt her sixth and seventh soul rings 37 38 40 44.

Her growing faith power triggered the Angel Nine Trials. She rapidly passed the first two, then continued through divine baptism, combat assessments, and psychological trials. She also undertook Sea God trials to obtain Sea God’s Light for Cheng Ran, spending two years on Tidal Body Tempering 52 53 55 58 84 91.

Pope and Angel God

On the Three-Year Pact’s deadline, Qian Renxue confronted Bibi Dong as a level-ninety-nine powerhouse. She countered Bibi Dong’s twin martial souls with spiritual attacks, teleportation, converted enemy energy, and her combined sword technique Angel Asura. Bibi Dong responded by burning her blood essence to force herself into the Quasi-God Realm 105.

By the aftermath, Qian Renxue had become Spirit Hall’s Pope. She then completed the Angel inheritance, confronting her remaining emotional attachments without accepting that godhood required abandoning her grandfather 110 111.

Her former infiltration subsequently became a political weapon against Spirit Hall. Tang San revealed her Xue Qinghe identity to Xue Ye, admitting he lacked direct evidence, and accused her of poisoning the Second and Third Princes 112.

Later Conflicts and Blue Star

Qian Renxue defended Spirit Hall against the Myriad Demon King, Xiong Jun, and Zi Ji, overwhelming their combined assault. After their defeat, their rings strengthened the Gatling Bodhisattva manifested through her body 115 116.

After honoring a promise to leave Tang San alone for five years, she confronted him at Sea God Island. Their battle ended with Tang San dead, while Qian Renxue survived alongside Cheng Ran 119 120.

In the side story, she asked to accompany Cheng Ran to Blue Star. Its skyscrapers, vehicles, traffic lights, and advertisements bewildered her, while passersby mistook her for a cosplayer and requested photographs 125.

Appearance

Qian Renxue initially appears as a girl of about fifteen or sixteen with an angelic face, fair skin, long golden hair, and a long white dress 1.

• Golden eyes: Her eyes turn gold when her angel martial soul is released 4.
• Angel wings: Initially six golden wings; after evolution, eight platinum-feathered wings 4 12 13.
• Strengthened feathers: Her external soul bone gives the platinum wings a translucent clarity 47.
• Divine equipment: Upon attaining godhood, she wears rune-inscribed platinum Angel Holy Armor and carries the crimson Sun God Sword 111.

Personality

Qian Renxue begins as dutiful, lonely, and desperate for her mother’s approval. She tolerates unfair criticism because her assignment is secret, and she fears Bibi Dong even while Cheng Ran speaks defiantly through her body. The confidence displayed during their first public confrontation is therefore not initially her own 2 3 5.

Cheng Ran’s protection gives her an unfamiliar sense of security. She becomes more assertive, adopts some of his teasing language, and increasingly enjoys combat-driven advancement. Nevertheless, she shows caution with valuable resources, waiting for his advice before absorbing a hundred-thousand-year external soul bone 6 10 32 47.

Her loyalty is expressed through concrete commitments: researching Cheng Ran’s reconstruction materials, providing a home for Dugu Bo and Dugu Yan, and teaching Xiao Wu to fight. She is also stubbornly independent when family honor is involved, insisting on personally facing Tang Chen and Tang Hao rather than relying entirely on her protectors 37 48 49 61 87.

By her final Angel trial, she no longer considers Bibi Dong worth dwelling on. She does not, however, equate emotional maturity with severing every attachment: she openly refuses to abandon her grandfather and promises to seek a divine inheritance for him 110 111.
