Madara and Obito launched an assault on Kumogakure, but Naruto, Hashirama, Hinata, and their allies defeated them and captured both men. As Madara faced his old friends and Obito remained committed to the Infinite Tsukuyomi, Black Zetsu began preparing Indra and Asura as a new route to revive his plans.

• Madara left to carry out his next move while Tobirama warned Tsunade that Kumogakure might be targeted.
• Obito sent the White Zetsu toward Kumogakure, where Naruto, Hinata, and the village’s forces prepared to defend the village.
• Obito broke Kumogakure’s barrier and brought the Ten-Tails into battle, but Naruto, Kurama, Hinata, and the allied shinobi fought back.
• Hinata broke Obito’s mask, and Naruto revealed that Madara had manipulated Obito by arranging Rin’s death.
• Madara joined the battle, fought Hashirama, and attacked the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path before Hashirama and Hinata helped capture him.
• Hashirama and Minato subdued Obito, and Naruto carried both captured men to Kumogakure after the White Zetsu assault was repelled.

While Hashirama tried to show Madara the village, Black Zetsu revived Indra and Asura and recruited them to pursue Kaguya’s revival. Black Zetsu attacked Konoha with Satori and controlled reincarnated shinobi, leaving Itachi and Tenzo fighting as Tobirama joined the battle and a golden streak cut through the attackers.

• Kakashi visited the Memorial Stone after speaking with Obito, then returned home and wondered about the unresolved Impure World Reincarnation caster.
• Hashirama and Naruto took Madara around Konoha, where Madara met villagers, visited shops and the amusement park, and questioned why the Uchiha had never had a Hokage.
• Black Zetsu revived Indra and Asura, told Indra that he wanted to free Kaguya with Infinite Tsukuyomi, and restrained Asura when he refused to help.
• Black Zetsu recruited Mui and used Indra’s chakra to open the Box of Ultimate Bliss, where Mui’s son Muku emerged as the destructive Satori.
• Konoha learned that Black Zetsu had taken the Box, and Itachi, Izumi, and Tenzo investigated the attack while Naruto and Karin sensed the invading force.
• Black Zetsu sent Satori against Konoha, and Naruto, Minato, Itachi, Izumi, and Tenzo defended the village and moved the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path.
• Indra fought Itachi and Naruto with Fire Release, lightning, and his Susanoo, while Naruto struck the Susanoo and Tobirama identified the Satori’s emotion-driven strength.
• Black Zetsu summoned controlled reincarnated shinobi to the battlefield, and Itachi and Tenzo fought to evade their attacks as Tobirama arrived and a golden streak cleaved through several attackers and the forest.

Naruto and the Konoha forces defeated Indra and Black Zetsu, then uncovered Black Zetsu’s thousand-year effort to revive Kaguya. With the moon Ōtsutsuki Clan and Obito involved, Tobirama began planning how to reach and free Kaguya, leaving Kakashi asking Obito to bring her into the Kamui Dimension.

• Naruto, Hinata, Sasuke, Itachi, Hashirama, and the Konoha forces fought Indra, Asura, and the White Zetsu until Itachi used Kotoamatsukami to free Asura from Black Zetsu’s control and Konoha defeated Indra.
• Tobirama interrogated Black Zetsu and Asura, who revealed that Black Zetsu had manipulated Madara and the Shinobi World for a thousand years to revive Kaguya.
• Naruto and Hinata met Toneri, who explained the moon Ōtsutsuki Clan’s ties to Hamura, the Hyuga, and the Giant Tenseigan.
• Tobirama gathered Naruto, Hashirama, Madara, Asura, and Indra to discuss rescuing Kaguya, and Hagoromo appeared and gave Naruto permission to proceed.

Tobirama and his allies rescued Kaguya, learned of the Ōtsutsuki threat, and revived Minato, Kushina, Indra, and Asura through Obito’s sacrifice. As Konoha prepared to unite the villages against future enemies, Naruto began planning his engagement to Hinata.

• Yugito Nii arrived in Konoha with Samui, reunited with Kakashi, and joined the delegation’s discussions about Zetsu and renewed relations.
• Tobirama led a group to the moon, where they used the Giant Tenseigan and Obito’s Kamui to free Kaguya from her seal and subdue her.
• Kaguya explained the Ōtsutsuki Clan’s pursuit of God Tree fruit, her conflict with Isshiki, and her plan to create White Zetsu as an army.
• Black Zetsu revealed that Obito could use Rinne Rebirth to restore the dead, and Orochimaru revived more than a hundred shinobi with Impure World Reincarnation.
