• Yucheng met Xiao at Wangshu Inn, revealed he knew Bosacius’s final words, and urged Xiao to seek the Anemo Archon’s help for his karmic debt.
• Yucheng met Ganyu in Jueyun Karst and advised her to set work hours and take time off, leading her to claim over three thousand years of back pay.
• Yucheng met Shenhe at an abandoned village, tried to help her face her past through an illusion, and fought her when her baleful energy overwhelmed her.

Yucheng arranged treatment for Shenhe and Xiao, warned Liyue about the Fatui, and helped defend the harbor after Tartaglia released Osial. He gained an Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan through Ningguang’s surrender of the Jade Chamber, then faced a new clan revitalization task while Yelan returned for information about her ancestor.

• Yucheng identified Zhongli as Rex Lapis and arranged an adepti delegation to seek Barbatos’s help purifying Shenhe and Xiao’s Archon Residue.
• Yucheng subdued Yelan, used photographs to secure her cooperation, and warned her and Ningguang about Childe’s plans.
• Yucheng accompanied Lumine to the Rite of Descension, escaped after Rex Lapis’s apparent murder, and exposed Tartaglia’s counterfeit Sigil of Permission.

Yucheng freed Azhdaha, helped him recover his memories, and secured his reconciliation with Zhongli before joining the Jade Chamber reconstruction effort and becoming Shenhe’s boyfriend. He then sailed to Inazuma with Lumine and Paimon, while Shenhe’s masters learned of their relationship and turned against him.

• Ningguang told Yelan that Rex Lapis had staged Liyue’s crisis, while Yucheng advised Lumine and Paimon about reaching Inazuma and confronting Raiden Ei.
• Yucheng contracted Azhdaha as his summon and removed him from his seal, prompting Zhongli and the adepti to search Liyue.
• Yucheng restored Azhdaha’s memories through illusions and persuaded Zhongli to end his punishment, after which Zhongli brought Azhdaha into mortal life as Zhongyuan.
• Yucheng joined Lumine, Paimon, Shenhe, Beidou, and Yun Jin in gathering materials for the Jade Chamber, and Shenhe accepted his proposal to become his girlfriend.

After Yucheng and Ei clashed in the Plane of Euthymia, Sara and Ayato led a confrontation against Kujou Takayuki that ended with Ei facing the evidence of his collusion with the Fatui.

• Yucheng enlisted Yae Miko and Kamisato Ayaka to get evidence about Inazuma’s decline before Raiden Ei, while the Shogun began receiving reports and sweets that prompted her to investigate.
• Yucheng confronted Ayaka over the Yashiro Commission’s neutrality, photographed evidence of the commissions’ collusion with the Fatui, and persuaded Kujou Sara to help expose Kujou Takayuki.
• After the Tenryou Commission arrested Thoma for the Vision Hunt Ceremony, Lumine intervened to save him, and Yucheng attacked the Raiden Shogun before allowing her domain to pull him and Lumine into the Plane of Euthymia.
• Yucheng fought Ei until Yae Miko’s Omamori called on them to stop, then showed Ei reports of Inazuma’s decline and argued that her pursuit of eternity had emptied the nation of its people’s wishes.
