Arc 19Konoha’s New Direction

Ye Feng helped defeat Moryo and intervened during the Nine-Tails attack, then returned to Konoha to support reforms and confront the Land of Fire’s corruption. He left the Daimyō shaken but reassured that Konoha sought independence, not control of the country.

  • Ye Feng restored Miroku’s seal, and they worked together to suppress Moryo, enter his consciousness, and place his energy body in the Divine Realm.
  • Obito and Black Zetsu attacked during Kushina’s delivery, but Minato and Konoha’s shinobi fought the Nine-Tails while Ye Feng’s Shadow Six rescued Kushina and helped seal half of the beast inside Naruto.
  • Ye Feng returned to Konoha, learned that the village had suffered no deaths, and joined Minato in planning reforms that reorganized ninja service and expanded education and promotion opportunities.
  • Uchiha Fugaku led his clan in supporting the reforms, and the other major clans soon followed by registering for Konoha’s new departments.
  • When the Land of Fire’s envoy challenged Konoha’s reforms, Ye Feng urged Minato to free the village from the country’s control and traveled to the capital to investigate its abuses.
  • Ye Feng killed Lord Yoshino and his accomplices after discovering their crimes, then ordered the Konoha ninja who had aided them to return to the village.
  • Ye Feng confronted the Daimyō, demonstrated Konoha’s power with a massive Wood Puppet, and secured the Daimyō’s understanding that Konoha wanted to develop independently while defending the Land of Fire from foreign threats.
Chapters 451–475 Vol. 5 Read

Ch. 451Perish together

Ye Feng used his Rinnegan’s Rewind ability to undo Miroku’s attempt to destroy herself along with Moryo, but the power left him nearly drained. As Moryo advanced, Miroku prepared to sacrifice herself to protect the Land of Demons, and Ye Feng stopped her.

  • Miroku detonated the seal within herself and grabbed Moryo, intending to disappear with him.
  • Ye Feng appeared beside Miroku, revealed that Moryo had survived, and used Rewind to restore her and undo the seal’s detonation.
  • Ye Feng collapsed from the immense cost of Rewind, and Moryo mocked him for having little strength left.
  • Miroku stepped between Ye Feng and Moryo and vowed to seal Moryo again, even if it cost her life.
  • Miroku’s forehead began to glow as she prepared to use the seal, but Ye Feng covered it with his hand and angrily stopped her.

Ch. 452Summoning Help

Ye Feng summoned nine shadow clones to help him fight Moryo while the clones prepared a formation. As Shadow One disrupted Moryo with the Kusanagi Sword and Void Severance, Ye Feng kept him occupied, but Moryo dispersed his remaining dragons before the formation was complete.

  • Ye Feng restored Miroku’s seal with his power and insisted that he would protect her and the Land of Demons himself.
  • Ye Feng summoned nine shadow clones, who joked about getting paid before charging at Moryo.
  • Moryo knocked Shadow One into a mountainside with one slap, then mocked the clones as weak.
  • The eight other clones began forming a formation while Ye Feng blocked Moryo and kept him from interrupting them.
  • Shadow One borrowed the Kusanagi Sword and used Void Severance to cut Moryo’s dragons, letting Ye Feng knock Moryo to the ground and attack him.
  • Moryo dispersed his remaining dragons, and Shadow One raced off, threatening to go after Moryo’s Undead Soldiers.

Ch. 453Suppressing Moryo

Ye Feng and his shadow clones suppressed Moryo with the Four Symbols Eight Trigrams Formation after Shadow One weakened him by attacking the Undead Soldiers. With Moryo pinned only temporarily, Ye Feng said he had a way to deal with him and rested while Miroku comforted him.

  • Moryo ignored Ye Feng's attacks and charged toward a shadow clone, but Ye Feng struck him and Miroku hit him with a beam of white light.
  • Moryo attacked Miroku, and Ye Feng shielded her before collapsing from exhaustion.
  • Shadow One's continued slaughter of the Undead Soldiers caused Moryo agony, giving Ye Feng a chance to knock him down again.
  • Ye Feng's eight shadow clones activated the Four Symbols Eight Trigrams Formation and pressed Moryo into the ground, though Shadow Two warned it would only suppress him temporarily.
  • Ye Feng said he had a way to deal with Moryo and lay down to recover while Miroku rested his head on her thighs.
  • Shadow Ten and Shadow Nine asked to share Miroku's lap, and Ye Feng told the shadow clones to leave and promised they would all get their share.

Ch. 454Ōtsutsuki Isshiki intervenes

Ye Feng combined Miroku’s power with his own to attack Moryo, but the resulting explosion allowed Moryo to escape. Miroku tracked the injured Moryo to Ōtsutsuki Isshiki, and Ye Feng pursued them while struggling to keep up.

  • Ye Feng asked Miroku to lend him her power and formed a light-infused ball of Origin Force to weaken Moryo.
  • Shadow One took the ball to attack Moryo, but it exploded and devastated the surrounding land, swallowing Shadow One in the blast.
  • Ye Feng and Miroku returned to the crater and found no trace of Moryo; Miroku sensed that Moryo was still alive.
  • Ye Feng used his Divine Sense to locate Ōtsutsuki Isshiki carrying Moryo away, then pursued them as Miroku tracked Moryo’s changing direction.

Ch. 455"Divine Realm"

Ye Feng found Moryo abandoned by Ōtsutsuki Isshiki and sealed him before bringing him back to the others. He used the Heaven-Earth-Human Three Talents Formation to enter Moryo’s consciousness and found a chaotic mass of countless minds, preparing to erase it.

  • Miroku told Ye Feng that Moryo had stopped, and Ye Feng found him alone, his energy dissipating as his consciousness lay dormant.
  • Miroku sealed Moryo to halt the energy loss, and Ye Feng returned with him to the battle site, where the others—including Shadow One—had survived.
  • Ye Feng said he would erase Moryo’s consciousness and store him in the Divine Realm, which he believed could suppress Moryo and keep him away from the Shinobi World.
  • Ye Feng and eight shadow clones formed the Heaven-Earth-Human Three Talents Formation, channeling their strength into Ye Feng.
  • Ye Feng entered Moryo’s purple-black inner world and discovered a chaotic mass of countless consciousnesses.

Ch. 456Chasing the Smoke

Ye Feng and Miroku entered Moryo’s consciousness to destroy the purplish-black smoke, whose countless evil consciousnesses overwhelmed Ye Feng until Miroku wiped them out with Light of Judgment. The smoke escaped, and Ye Feng chased after it while Miroku continued ahead, as an unseen voice mocked Ye Feng for being led in circles.

  • Ye Feng fought the black mist with his sword and lightning, but the endless swarms drained him and forced him to retreat.
  • Miroku offered to enter Moryo’s consciousness, and Ye Feng brought her into the “Heaven” position to test her power.
  • Ye Feng lured the black mist around him, and Miroku destroyed it with Light of Judgment.
  • Ye Feng noticed the purplish-black smoke fleeing and chased it with Miroku, but could not catch it while carrying her.
  • Ye Feng set Miroku down and told her to keep going while he tried to trap or redirect the smoke.
  • After Ye Feng disappeared from Miroku’s sight, a low voice chuckled that it was leading him in circles.

Ch. 457The dust settled

Ye Feng and Miroku trapped Moryo and destroyed his energy body, then returned with the exhausted group to the capital of the Land of Demons. Miroku promised the shadow clones a generous reward, and they led everyone there using the Flying Thunder God Technique.

  • Moryo revealed himself to Miroku and tried to force her to merge with him, but she lured him into a formation with Ye Feng’s Energy Orbs.
  • Ye Feng appeared, trapped Moryo inside an energy barrier, and combined his power with Miroku’s to create a ball of light.
  • Ye Feng pressed the ball of light against Moryo, whose energy body vanished in the explosion; Ye Feng later placed the energy body he had secured into the Divine Realm.
  • Ye Feng and Miroku returned to their bodies, and Miroku suggested that everyone rest in the capital of the Land of Demons.
  • After the shadow clones argued with Ye Feng about payment, Miroku promised them a generous reward, and they used the Flying Thunder God Technique to take everyone to the capital.

Ch. 458Kushina came under attack

After Moryo’s defeat, Ye Feng slept in the Land of Demons while Obito and Black and White Zetsu set their plan in motion in Konoha. Kushina Uzumaki was attacked and went into early labor, and Shadow Six arrived as the village prepared for the Nine-Tails’ birth.

  • Ye Feng let Shadow One and his team take credit for defeating Moryo, then went to sleep while Miroku stayed with him.
  • Obito and Black and White Zetsu arrived near Konoha, and Black and White Zetsu said Kushina Uzumaki would give birth that day while Obito searched for a chance to warn Ye Feng.
  • A White Zetsu disguised as Minato Namikaze struck Kushina Uzumaki, but the real Minato arrived and drove the impostor away; Kushina then went into early labor.
  • Hiruzen Sarutobi put Konoha on war footing, and Minato Namikaze arranged to protect Kushina Uzumaki at the delivery room with Jiraiya and Tsunade.
  • Shadow Six killed the White Zetsu impostor outside Konoha, but Black Zetsu learned that Kushina Uzumaki was about to give birth and ordered the plan to continue.

Ch. 459Kushina gave birth

Obito learned that Black Zetsu had forced Kushina into early labor and located her delivery site, where Konoha’s forces were protecting her. As Black Zetsu’s fighters attacked the cave, Obito waited nearby to release the Nine-Tails.

  • Black Zetsu revealed that White Zetsu had attacked Kushina to trigger early labor, and Obito volunteered to find the real delivery site.
  • Obito entered Konoha and met Shadow Six, who told him Kushina was at the outermost site with Jiraiya and Tsunade and instructed him to release the Nine-Tails.
  • Obito returned to Black Zetsu and learned that Black Zetsu would send their remaining fighters to distract Konoha’s defenders.
  • Kushina endured labor while Minato stabilized her seal and Biwako Sarutobi assisted with the delivery.
  • Enemies attacked Kushina’s cave, prompting Tsunade to join the defense while guarding the entrance.
  • Obito watched the battle and realized Black Zetsu had kept the attacking force hidden from him.

Ch. 460The Nine-Tails broke free

Obito abducted Kushina Uzumaki and extracted the Nine-Tails, while Shadow Six rescued her and used Wood Spirit Talismans to treat her. Minato Namikaze arrived and found Kushina alive, but he believed the Nine-Tails’ escape meant she was certain to die.

  • Obito took newborn Naruto from Biwako Sarutobi and threatened Minato Namikaze, who rescued Naruto from the explosive-tagged swaddling with the Flying Thunder God Technique.
  • Obito transported Kushina Uzumaki to a mountain forest, revealed his Sharingan, and extracted the Nine-Tails from her.
  • Shadow Six rescued Kushina as the Nine-Tails broke free and used Wood Spirit Talismans and wood origin to treat her.
  • Minato Namikaze arrived and nearly attacked Shadow Six before Kushina explained that he was helping her.
  • Kushina told Minato Namikaze that she felt well, but Minato believed she was doomed and wept.

Ch. 461The Nine-Tails invaded

After Obito summoned the Nine-Tails into Konoha, Shadow Six worked to keep Kushina alive while Minato returned to the village to confront the beast. Konoha’s clans rallied against the Nine-Tails, and the Uchiha led the first coordinated attack.

  • Black and White Zetsu told Obito to summon the Nine-Tails to Konoha, and Obito vanished using a distortion of space.
  • Shadow Six stabilized Kushina while Minato drew the Nine-Tails away with the Flying Thunder God Technique.
  • The Nine-Tails appeared at the edge of Konoha, and Minato returned to the village after entrusting Kushina to Shadow Six.

  • Uchiha Fugaku led more than a dozen Uchiha Jonin in a Great Dragon Fire Technique that knocked the Nine-Tails off balance.
  • The other clans joined in with large-scale Ninjutsu, temporarily preventing the Nine-Tails from getting back up.

Ch. 462A new Susanoo

The Nine-Tails attacked Konoha, and Minato Namikaze returned in time to divert its Tailed Beast Bomb before the Mask Man ambushed him. As Konoha struggled to hold the beast back, Uchiha Fugaku manifested Susanoo and struck at the Nine-Tails.

  • The Nine-Tails prepared a Tailed Beast Bomb, and Hiruzen Sarutobi summoned Enma to try to stop it.
  • The Nine-Tails knocked Hiruzen aside and fired its bomb at Konoha, but Minato Namikaze returned and transported it elsewhere, limiting the damage.
  • The Mask Man ambushed Minato and nearly pulled him into a spatial distortion, but Minato vanished before the attack could finish.
  • With Minato gone and Hiruzen gravely wounded, Orochimaru prepared to intervene as the Nine-Tails continued its rampage.
  • Uchiha Fugaku manifested an orange-red Susanoo and swung its sword at the Nine-Tails, which reached out to catch the blade.

Ch. 463Everyone's Konoha

Uchiha Fugaku prepared to take the Nine-Tails’ Tailed Beast Bomb head-on to protect Konoha, but Shadow Six intervened and restrained the beast with Wood Release. A mysterious figure then struck the Nine-Tails with a Sword Light that cut its Tailed Beast Bomb in half.

  • Susanoo knocked the Nine-Tails beyond Konoha’s boundaries, but Uchiha Fugaku realized he was too drained and immobile to pursue it.
  • As the Nine-Tails charged another Tailed Beast Bomb, Uchiha Fugaku resolved to shield Konoha, and he declared that the village belonged to everyone.
  • Shisui Uchiha and Uchiha Shinichi ran to join Fugaku, but Shadow Six knocked them down, revealed his face as Ye Feng, and ordered them to stay back.
  • Shadow Six used Wood Release to bind the Nine-Tails just as its Tailed Beast Bomb was ready to fire.
  • A figure appeared above the restrained Nine-Tails and cut its Tailed Beast Bomb in half with a Sword Light.

Ch. 464Convincing Kushina

Shadow Six defeated the Nine-Tails and persuaded Kushina to seal it inside Little Naruto by arguing that Naruto would need strength to protect his future. After Kushina agreed and prepared the altar, Shadow Six released the Nine-Tails nearby, drawing the Third Hokage and Konoha shinobi toward them.

  • Shadow Six's sword light struck the Nine-Tails, and its agonized screams stopped as dust hid what had happened.
  • Orochimaru recognized that the Ghost-Faced Mask Man's attack used Ye Feng's true qi and left, concluding that the masked man was closely connected to Ye Feng.
  • Shadow Six showed Kushina the Nine-Tails sealed in a sphere and urged her to seal it inside Little Naruto, but she initially refused.
  • Shadow Six persuaded Kushina by arguing that Naruto needed strength to control his own fate, and she agreed to let the Nine-Tails be sealed inside him.
  • Shadow Six restored Kushina's strength, and she placed Little Naruto on an altar and asked him to release the Nine-Tails.
  • Shadow Six shattered the sphere and released the Nine-Tails, prompting the Third Hokage to lead Konoha shinobi toward its roar.

Ch. 465Sealing the Nine-Tails

Shadow Six helped Kushina seal half of the Nine-Tails into Naruto, then left before the other Konoha ninja arrived. Black Zetsu questioned who had ruined his plans as an injured Obito appeared beside him and White Zetsu.

  • Tsunade and Jiraiya arrived and mistook Shadow Six for Kushina's captor, but Kushina explained that he was helping her seal the Nine-Tails.
  • Shadow Six silenced the Nine-Tails, and Kushina used her Adamantine Chains to seal half of it inside Naruto.
  • Kushina asked why Naruto received so little of the Nine-Tails' chakra, and Shadow Six said the other half would be left for Ye Feng.
  • Minato arrived, promised Shadow Six his payment, and addressed him as senior before Shadow Six vanished as more ninja approached.
  • Black Zetsu lamented that Shadow Six had ruined his plans, while White Zetsu helped the badly injured Obito recover.

Ch. 466Changing the future

After sleeping through the Night of the Nine-Tails, Ye Feng returned to Konoha and learned that the village had survived with no civilian deaths. He confirmed Minato Namikaze and Kushina were safe and recognized that his actions had changed the future.

  • Obito told Black Zetsu that Minato Namikaze had overwhelmed him, and Black Zetsu decided to rethink his plans after the Ghost-Faced Mask Man saved Kushina.
  • The Third Hokage heard Minato Namikaze’s account and advised him to reward the Ghost-Faced Mask Man and build a relationship with him.
  • Ye Feng woke in the Land of Demons, learned from Shadow Six that the Night of the Nine-Tails had ended, and hurried back to Konoha.
  • Ye Feng told Miroku he had to leave, then arrived in Konoha and learned from the Third Hokage that the village had evacuated civilians and suffered no deaths.
  • Ye Feng saw that Minato Namikaze and Kushina were safe with their newborn Naruto, then returned home and spent the day with Tian Nai and the other woman.

Ch. 467An uneven split of the spoils

Ye Feng saw the Uchiha Clan growing closer to Konoha’s villagers and visited Kushina, who told him Shadow Six had taken half of the Nine-Tails for him. After learning that his clones were fighting over a large mission payment, Ye Feng split Shadow Six’s spoils among them and then proposed dividing everyone else’s.

  • Ye Feng noticed villagers thanking Uchiha clan members, encouraged by Uchiha Fugaku’s actions the previous night, and considered advancing his plan to modernize Konoha.
  • Ye Feng visited Kushina and Little Naruto, then learned Shadow Six had taken half of the Nine-Tails and intended to give it to him.
  • Black Zetsu, having learned Ye Feng was alive, worried that capturing the Nine-Tails would be harder and decided to teach Obito Yin-Yang Release ninjutsu.
  • Ye Feng reached the shadow clones’ village and stopped the ten clones from brawling over Shadow Six’s mission payment.
  • Ye Feng divided Shadow Six’s cash and supplies among the clones, then announced that it was time to divide their own spoils.

Ch. 468Plans for the Ten-Tails

Ye Feng learned that the shadow clones had received nearly thirty million from the Land of Demons, then agreed to use the Ten-Tails’ energy as a possible path to the Nascent Soul Realm. Back in Konoha, he and Minato Namikaze began designing broad reforms, with the Third Hokage offering his support.

  • The shadow clones split the nearly thirty million they had received from the Land of Demons, and Shadow Six took about three million as his share.
  • Shadow Six suggested that Ye Feng absorb the Ten-Tails’ energy to advance to the Nascent Soul Realm, and Ye Feng accepted the plan while deciding to keep the reviving Three-Tails under his control.
  • Ye Feng returned to Konoha and found the Third Hokage in the Hokage Office with Minato Namikaze, who said the Third Hokage supported reform.
  • Ye Feng and Minato Namikaze planned four branches for Konoha’s ninja, new education options, and promotion paths for ordinary people.
  • Ye Feng and Minato Namikaze called in Shikaku Nara, Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Orochimaru, and the group finalized the reforms late into the night.

Ch. 469The Uchiha came flooding in

After Konoha announced reforms that opened its departments to ninja, Uchiha Fugaku backed the changes and urged the Uchiha to leave the Military Police Force and join other departments. Hundreds of Uchiha then flooded the registration area, eager to enlist.

  • Konoha officially announced the Hokage's reforms, but few ninja came to register before noon.
  • Uchiha Fugaku told the gathered clan members that the reforms offered the Uchiha a chance to expand their influence, and he declared his support for them.
  • Uchiha Fugaku urged clan members to choose departments freely and work to make the Uchiha admired across Konoha.
  • Uchiha Fugaku and the elders left the meeting hall, and the clan members decided to head to the Hokage Office Building to register.
  • Hundreds of Uchiha arrived at the registration tables, asked to join departments, and lined up as the registration ninja eagerly helped them.

Ch. 470The Land of Fire's Envoy

Konoha's clans and ninja registered for the Hokage's reforms, while the Land of Fire's envoy arrived to challenge the policy. Shikaku Nara confronted the envoy and his samurai at the gate, and the envoy entered Konoha after backing down.

  • The Sarutobi, Mitokado, Mito, and Hyuga clans joined the Uchiha in supporting the reforms, prompting the remaining clans to register as well.
  • Tsunade, Jiraiya, Orochimaru, and Ye Feng accepted nominal or specialized roles in Konoha's institutions and Anbu.
  • Ten days later, the Land of Fire's envoy arrived to demand an explanation, and Shikaku Nara received him in place of the Fifth Hokage.
  • The envoy accused Konoha of seeking secession, and Shikaku Nara threatened to arrest him for sowing discord.
  • The envoy's samurai surrounded Shikaku Nara, but twenty Konoha ninja appeared and surrounded them in turn.
  • The envoy withdrew his samurai, rejected Shikaku Nara's offer to arrange a meeting, and entered Konoha after being warned to obey its rules.

Ch. 471The darkness behind prosperity

Ye Feng told Minato Namikaze to make Konoha self-sufficient and went to the Land of Fire Capital to confront the Daimyō. After seeing the city’s abuses, he checked into an inn, where he paid two women to guard his door.

  • Minato Namikaze questioned Ye Feng’s treatment of the Land of Fire’s envoy, and Ye Feng told him to focus on developing Konoha and breaking free of the Land of Fire’s control.
  • The envoy checked into a hotel, reported Konoha’s defiance to the Capital, and vowed to repay the humiliation once the Daimyō acted against Konoha.
  • Ye Feng overheard the envoy’s plans and traveled to the Land of Fire Capital, where his divine sense revealed widespread exploitation and abuse.
  • Ye Feng shut off his divine sense and went to a Hot Spring Inn before his planned meeting with the Daimyō.
  • Two women offered Ye Feng their services, but he shut the door and told them to guard it; after one woman explained they feared losing their job, Ye Feng offered them 10,000 ryō.

Ch. 472The Honey Trap

Ye Feng let Wada Mitsuko and another woman into his room despite knowing they were part of a honey trap, then faced the nine men who came to rob him. After their search found no money, the men tried to carry him away, but discovered he was too heavy to move easily.

  • Ye Feng sensed that Wada Mitsuko was frightened and let her and the other woman into his room, where he revealed that he knew their accomplices were waiting nearby.
  • Wada Mitsuko warned Ye Feng that the men had Jonin-level subordinates, but he said he would handle the situation and asked her name.
  • The scar-faced bald leader and eight other men burst into the room, demanded Ye Feng's money, and searched him and the room without finding anything.
  • The leader ordered his men to take Ye Feng away, but the first two could not lift him and fell; four others then managed to raise him only with great effort.

Ch. 473An unexpected gain

Ye Feng killed the men running a brutal criminal compound, freed its victims, and spared a well-dressed man so he could draw out the people behind it. He waited for the mastermind, Lord Yoshino, whose party arrived and threatened him.

  • Ye Feng deliberately grew heavier as the lackeys carried him, exhausting them before they reached their base.
  • After the mustached man approved of torturing Ye Feng for money, Ye Feng killed him with a sudden strike.
  • Ye Feng saw the abuse and killings in the compound, unleashed his murderous aura, and killed the evildoers with earthen spikes while sparing a well-dressed man to lead him to their leader.
  • Ye Feng told the victims to leave the Land of Fire Capital or seek refuge near Konoha, helped those who could not walk, and watched Wada Mitsuko and the other woman leave that night.
  • After waiting an hour, Ye Feng saw a party arrive carrying the exceptionally fat Lord Yoshino in a sedan chair, and a steward demanded that Ye Feng surrender.

Ch. 474Taking out the trash

Ye Feng confronted Lord Yoshino and his entourage, uncovering the Konoha ninja’s complicity in Yoshino’s abuses. He ordered Konoha’s protectors to leave the Land of Fire and then killed Yoshino and the remaining guilty men.

  • Ye Feng unleashed his aura, crushing the weaker subordinates and terrifying the rest as he singled out the obese man.
  • Lord Yoshino offered Ye Feng money and a high-ranking position, revealing that he was the Daimyō’s younger brother.
  • A Konoha ninja threatened Ye Feng with retaliation, but Ye Feng revealed his Konoha forehead protector and questioned the ninja about his role in Yoshino’s crimes.
  • The Konoha ninja confessed that he had accepted bribes, captured Yoshino’s enemies, and helped Yoshino obtain women; Ye Feng ordered him to return to Konoha with the other protectors.
  • Ye Feng asked the Konoha ninja to identify anyone uninvolved, but the ninja shook his head, and Ye Feng cut down the remaining people, including Lord Yoshino.

Ch. 475Wood Puppet

Ye Feng confronted the Daimyō about leaving Konoha’s development free from interference, then demonstrated the overwhelming power of his Wood Puppet. The Daimyō fell silent at the threat to the capital, while Ye Feng assured him Konoha would still defend the Land of Fire from foreign enemies.

  • Ye Feng entered the Daimyō’s residence, put the guards to sleep, and introduced himself as Konoha’s envoy, Uchiha Yefeng.
  • Ye Feng told the Daimyō that Konoha wanted to develop without interference but would protect the Land of Fire from ninja-related war.
  • The Daimyō boasted of the Land of Fire’s armies, so Ye Feng carried him to a remote forest to demonstrate Konoha’s strength.
  • Ye Feng summoned a massive Wood Puppet that devastated the forest and carved a huge crater and trench with its axes.
  • Ye Feng asked what would happen if the Wood Puppet struck the capital, and the frightened Daimyō fell silent.
  • Ye Feng reassured the Daimyō that Konoha wanted no authority over the Land of Fire and would defend it against foreign enemies.
