Earlier Service and the Thanatos Battle

After Li Ming and Gu Jiuge were gravely injured fighting Thanatos, Qingxue helped evacuate them. She carried Li Ming on her back, Chu Ning carried Gu Jiuge, and Lin Luo drove them to the hospital for surgery 42.

Su Bai’s Recruitment

Qingxue attempted to enter Star Sea Middle School carrying two Desert Eagles to deal with the Contaminated Novelist. School security guards caught her climbing the wall, and Sister Yan instructed Gu Jiuge to retrieve her from the police station after handling the ghost 2.

She later fired the iron arrow used in Gu Jiuge’s test of Su Bai, grazing his neck. During the ensuing confrontation, she was visibly astonished when Su Bai identified his Oracle as Wrath 5 7. After Gu Jiuge let him leave, she questioned that decision; Gu Jiuge maintained that Su Bai would eventually recognize his need to join the Grave Keepers 6.

When Su Bai reported for work, he found Qingxue asleep at the squad’s reception desk. Gu Jiuge added finance duties to her existing workload that same day 13.

Hunter Guild Operation

Qingxue joined Chu Ning and Su Bai in the assault on Heavenly River International. She brutally beat a security guard with her sword, then used Angel Wings to protect the team from gunfire inside the casino 20 21.

During their pursuit of the apparent Sister Hong, Chu Ning’s driving battered both passengers before the cars plunged into the water. Qingxue witnessed their target transform into a fish and escape; she and Chu Ning abandoned the chase to save the unconscious Su Bai 24 25.

The pair subsequently entered Su Bai’s interrogation room disguised as policewomen. Qingxue presented forged transfer authorization and removed the surveillance camera so they could speak privately. Su Bai declined their attempt to free him, choosing to pursue his own plan 24 25.

In the final confrontation with Jiang Long, Qingxue served as Su Bai’s hidden sniper. After waiting in ambush for over an hour, she shot Jiang Long with a Barrett rifle, allowing Su Bai to finish him off 31. Headquarters awarded her an overall C+, identifying the sniper ambush as her principal contribution 32.

Suzhou University Incident

Already at Suzhou University when Chu Ning and Su Bai arrived, Qingxue helped investigate a student’s apparent spontaneous combustion. Chu Ning tasked her with notifying Section Seven once the case was classified as supernatural 35 36.

Although frightened by the spider threat, Qingxue accompanied her teammates to confront the mother spider rather than wait for air support. She activated Angel Wings, attacked the weakened Redback Spider with her stringless bow, and flew to Chu Ning when the latter was severely wounded 37 38.

Surrounded by hundreds of spiderlings, Qingxue shielded herself and Chu Ning with her wings until repeated attacks tore gaps through them. Li Ming’s arrival ended the swarm, but the shock of his invocation of Throne rendered Qingxue unconscious. Chu Ning dragged her and Su Bai away while Li Ming fought the mother spider 39 40.

Appearance

Personality

Qingxue is trusting and readily accepts requests from her senior teammates. She obediently agrees when Gu Jiuge gives her additional office duties and takes his request to block the wind for his lighter at face value. Her inexperience also shows when she enthusiastically praises his explanation of Su Bai’s situation while admitting that she understood none of it 6 13.

Her innocent demeanor contrasts sharply with her capacity for excessive violence. During the casino raid, she excitedly knocked down a guard and repeatedly struck his head with her sword, then asked Chu Ning for credit 20.

Despite this aggression, Qingxue is easily frightened by overwhelming danger. She feared Chu Ning’s reckless driving and initially preferred air support to confronting the university’s mother spider. Nevertheless, her kindness and attachment to her teammates led her to fight alongside them and protect the wounded Chu Ning when escape became impossible 23 24 37 39.

She is openly affectionate toward her colleagues, celebrating Su Bai’s S-rank evaluation as excitedly as though it were her own 33.
