From Akame and the others' perspective, a great mass of black mist poured out of Divine Abyss's blade. Then two black swords resembling Divine Abyss shot out, hurtling straight toward Mine and Sheele before turning into two black bracelets that wrapped around their wrists.
"Huh? What's this?" Sheele asked blankly.
"Akame, what's going on with your Teigu?" Mine touched the black bracelet on her wrist and looked at Akame in confusion.
"I don't know either. This Teigu is pretty strange. Let's have Boss take a look when she gets back."
After eating, Akame got up and headed outside. Lin Ran hurriedly controlled Divine Abyss to follow her at a leisurely pace, even patting her little head in displeasure to remind her not to forget him next time.
A trace of amusement flashed in Akame's eyes. She grabbed Divine Abyss's hilt and gave it a casual swing, sending a sword ray dozens of zhang long sweeping out.
This was the first time Lin Ran had seen a shocked expression on Akame's face, and he could not help feeling pleased with himself. A mythical-grade Teigu-how could a gaudy slut like Demon Sword Murasame compare!
"Is this the power you possess?" Akame stared at Divine Abyss and murmured.

Lin Ran was still rather curious about what she was planning to do, until several strange fish swam over. Then he saw Akame toss them onto the bank with the speed of thunder that left no time to cover one's ears.
Once Akame climbed onto the bank, she wanted to use Divine Abyss to gut the strange fish, only to sense a feeling of resistance coming from him.
Akame paused, but did not think much of it. Since Divine Abyss was unwilling, she would take the strange fish back to the base and prepare them there!
"Is your name Divine Abyss?"
Sensing an affirmative feeling from Divine Abyss, Akame's lips curved into a smile.
"Those two black swords you split off this morning-were they meant to protect Sheele and Mine?"
This time, Lin Ran directly controlled the sword to bob up and down, then pressed himself against Akame and nuzzled back and forth.

"Divine Abyss, just what kind of Teigu are you? How can you even enhance your wielder's strength?"
"I am the mythical Teigu, Divine Abyss! Now that I've bound myself to you, our minds are connected."
Akame was so startled that she flung Divine Abyss away. Lin Ran steadied himself and floated back into her arms.
"Don't be surprised. I'm far more powerful than the forty-eight Teigu recorded in the history books. Even The Supreme Throne, known as the Guardian God of the Nation, could only be devoured if it met me!"
"Liar! According to the history books, The Supreme Throne stands at the pinnacle of all Teigu."
"Why would I lie to you? Only by growing stronger can you bring out more of my power."
"Can I ask you a question?"
"Go ahead, go ahead. No need to stand on ceremony with me!"
"Why did you choose me?"
"Because I lust after your body, of course! And I'm rather fond of the Curse Poison on Demon Sword Murasame, too."
Akame could not help blushing. One look was enough to tell that Divine Abyss was not a proper Teigu, but the latter half of his words did surprise him somewhat.
"Are you saying you possess Curse Poison?"
"That's right! I can devour other Teigu and gain their powers." As Lin Ran spoke, the power of Curse Poison flowed over Divine Abyss's blade. Akame's pupils contracted, and she instinctively wanted to throw him away.
"Relax, relax. This Curse Poison won't hurt you."
Half believing, half doubting, Akame touched the power of Curse Poison flowing over the blade. Sure enough, she discovered that this power, which she had once feared, no longer hurt her.
After returning to the base, Akame promptly went to prepare lunch. Cooking was her hobby, and Lin Ran thought that was pretty nice. Who could turn down a little loli cook!
Sheele followed in a daze, though she showed no intention of lending a hand. With a thought, Lin Ran instantly transferred to the Blade of Devouring on her.
Black light suddenly erupted from Sheele's black bracelet. A Blade of Devouring that looked ninety percent like Divine Abyss appeared before her, its blade unleashing a terrifying aura.
"Huh? Akame, what's going on with your Teigu?" Sheele tilted her little head and looked at Akame with a adorably blank expression, utterly unable to figure out what was happening.
"Hello, Sheele! I'm Divine Abyss, Akame's Teigu."
Sheele froze for a full five or six seconds before reacting.
"Akame, your Teigu can talk?"
"Yes. Divine Abyss, Divine Abyss?" Akame called twice, only to find that Divine Abyss gave no response at all.
Lin Ran noticed this as well. After transferring to the Blade of Devouring on Sheele, he could no longer speak with Akame through Divine Abyss.
With a thought, Lin Ran returned to Divine Abyss's main body. The Blade of Devouring turned back into a bracelet and wrapped around Sheele's wrist.
"It's fine, I'm here. I was just testing another one of my powers."
Akame smiled and nodded, then continued preparing the strange fish. For some reason, Divine Abyss gave her a very reassuring feeling.
