Shinsei developed his chakra and ninja skills, joined an Anbu squad, and survived a mission that led him to confront Tarō Kakumoto again in the Land of Waves. After returning to Konoha, he was hospitalized as the Chunin Exams approached.

• Shinsei learned to form chakra, trained with his grandfather, and befriended Naruto, Hinata, Sasuke, and their classmates.
• After Shinsei’s grandfather brought him a Storm Release scroll at great cost, Shinsei graduated and was assigned to the Special Assassination and Tactical Squad as Hakutaku.
• Shinsei’s squad infiltrated Tarō Kakumoto’s base, freed its victims, and escaped an attack by masked assailants after Shinsei summoned a water kirin.
• Shinsei received credit for an S-rank mission, chose Chidori from the Scroll of Seals, and trained with Kakashi alongside Team 7.
• Shinsei followed Team 7 to the Land of Waves, helped defeat Tarō Kakumoto, and accepted Zabuza as a prisoner before letting Zabuza and Haku go.
• After the bridge was completed and the group returned to Konoha, Shinsei fell ill and stayed in the hospital as his friends visited and discussed the coming Chunin Ninja Exams.

Shinsei survived Orochimaru’s attempt to curse him, then trained Sasuke and Sakura while developing new techniques. The Chunin Exams began, and Shinsei recognized the genjutsu that launched an attack on Konoha.

• Shinsei entered the Chunin Exams with Hashihime and Sai, passed the written test, and advanced through the Forest of Death after defeating a Takigakure team.
• Orochimaru confronted Shinsei and tried to place a Cursed Seal on him, but Shinsei fought him with Water Release: Kirin while Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Rock Lee faced the Sound Ninja.
• Shinsei reported Orochimaru’s attack to Hiruzen, exchanged Water Release: Kirin for a technique from the Scroll of Seals, and chose the Bringer-of-Darkness Technique.
• Shinsei defeated Sasuke in a spar, warned him against relying on Orochimaru, and began teaching him Lightning Release: Lightning Sword while also training Sakura.
• Shinsei developed Heavenly Net, a water-and-lightning mist that sensed moving targets within a one-kilometer radius, and decided not to pursue Sage Mode alone after natural energy harmed him.
• Shinsei, Hashihime, and Sai disguised themselves near the Hokage as Naruto defeated Neji, Shikamaru forfeited to Temari, and Sasuke pierced Gaara’s sand defenses with Chidori.
• Shinsei recognized the genjutsu when feathers fell over the arena, signaling the start of the attack on Konoha.

Shinsei helped end the invasion of Konoha, faced Akatsuki and Orochimaru’s efforts to take Sasuke, and trained under Tsunade as he awakened Storm Release. The stretch left Sasuke in Shinsei’s Anbu team and Tsunade permitting Shinsei to clone White Zetsu cells, provided he used no living people.

• Shinsei killed Kabuto, protected his parents during the invasion, and joined Naruto to stop Shukaku before learning that the Third Hokage had died and Orochimaru had escaped.
• Shinsei raided a Root base, confronted the elders over Danzo’s attacks, and later rescued Naruto from Itachi and Kisame before warning Sasuke about Orochimaru and the Mangekyō Sharingan.
• Tsunade returned to Konoha and became the Fifth Hokage, taking Shinsei as her apprentice and teaching him to develop Storm Release.
• When the Sound Four came for Sasuke, Shinsei helped repel them, defeated Kimimaro, and watched Sasuke become Tsunade’s student alongside Sakura and Hinata.
• Shinsei awakened Storm Release, saw Naruto leave with Jiraiya, and warned Sasuke that the Naka Shrine tablet could have been tampered with after finding White Zetsu spying on him.
• Shinsei brought Sasuke into Anbu as Huoche, and Sasuke joined Hashihime’s team after sparring with Shinsei and admitting defeat.
• Tsunade rejected human experiments but allowed Shinsei to clone White Zetsu after he explained his fears about future threats.

Shinsei led Konoha’s missions against Orochimaru and Akatsuki, mastered Sage Mode, and secured Sunagakure’s cooperation by defeating its fighters. While investigating the Dragon Vein, he and Hinata were pulled into another world, where Shinsei protected her from the Hyuga Main Family and began building a connection with his unfamiliar allies.

• Shinsei joined Kakashi and Sasuke on a mission to destroy Orochimaru’s base, defeated Sasori’s forces, captured Sasori alive, and returned to Konoha with the cloning equipment.
• Shinsei trained at Shikkotsu Forest, mastered Sage Mode, and learned to use Flying Thunder God within the range of his Heavenly Net.
• Shinsei taught his companions the Lotus Visualization Method and negotiated with Sunagakure for missions, wind-style ninjutsu, forbidden techniques, and revised academy textbooks.
• Shinsei defeated Baki, Chiyo, and Gaara in their challenge, subdued Shukaku, and left Sunagakure with its agreement to Konoha’s terms.
• At the ruins of Rōran, Shinsei and Hinata were caught in the Dragon Vein’s eruption and vanished together into another world.
• Shinsei and Hinata reached Konoha’s wartime camp in year 39, proved their identities to Tsunade, and met Jiraiya and Orochimaru.
• As Shinsei worked on a Yin-Yang Seal, Kenta met him and helped him confront Hyuga Main Family men who threatened Hinata with the Caged Bird Seal.
• Shinsei defeated the Hyuga men and forced their elder to apologize, earning praise from Orochimaru as his reputation spread through the camp.
