Arc 6The Dream Holy Grail War

Mukuro Hoshimiya let a three-on-three Holy Grail War decide whether Earth would be restored or replaced by her dream world, and Heracles’s victory led her to make the dream world real. After returning Chaldea’s group to their own time, she vanished, and Ritsuka Fujimaru, Mash, and Mayuri began investigating the Sixth Singularity and allied with the People of the Mountain.

  • Ritsuka Fujimaru’s team failed to reach Mukuro through Belphegor’s dream, while Belphegor expanded the dream across parallel worlds and Mukuro woke in Trifas.
  • Mukuro rejected the group’s appeal to save Earth at first, then proposed either refilling the Greater Grail to restore Earth or making the dream world its replacement.
  • The group split over Mukuro’s two plans, so Mukuro arranged a three-on-three Dream Holy Grail War to decide Earth’s fate and grant the winners one reasonable request.
  • Mash, Metatron, and Arcueid fought Atalanta, Karna, and Heracles on the lunar battlefield, where Karna defeated Mash’s first decisive attack before Mash later defeated him.
  • Heracles defeated Arcueid and Metatron, then killed Mash and won the war, choosing to materialize the dream world and asking Mukuro to send him to a world where he could save Illya.
  • Mukuro made the dream world replace Earth, entrusted its administration to Gaia, Alaya, and Amakusa Shirou Tokisada, then erased the Chaldea group’s memories and sent them home.
  • In the Sixth Singularity, Ritsuka, Mash, and Mayuri met Hassan of the Hundred Faces, learned that the Lion King had destroyed Jerusalem and built Camelot, and accepted an alliance with the People of the Mountain.
  • Cursed Arm Hassan agreed to let Ritsuka, Mash, and Mayuri accompany an envoy to Pharaoh Ozymandias’s territory, with the group concealing its Chaldea identities unless necessary.
Chapters 126–150 Vol. 2 Read

Ch. 126Battling Belphegor's Phantom Again

Chaldea’s team returned to Belphegor’s nightmare and held off its phantom while Merlin searched for the entrance to the dream’s deepest layer. Ritsuka discovered that Mukuro Hoshimiya’s feelings still shaped the phantom’s attacks and planned to enter with Astolfo and Atalanta to reach her.

  • Ritsuka led Chaldea’s team into the nightmare world, where they confronted Belphegor’s phantom.
  • Metatron, Heracles, Karna, and Mash fought on the front line as the others distracted the phantom and Merlin searched for the third layer’s entrance.
  • Ritsuka noticed that the phantom’s attacks avoided Astolfo and Atalanta, while showing greater hostility toward others.
  • Astolfo told Ritsuka that Mukuro considered him a friend, and Ritsuka inferred that Mukuro’s will and memories still influenced Belphegor.
  • Ritsuka asked Astolfo and Atalanta to accompany him into the deepest layer and help persuade Mukuro to dispel the dream.
  • Merlin continued opening the entrance to the third layer as the battle raged.

Ch. 127The Fall of the Solar System

After Merlin revealed that the nightmare-world door led to a blank space rather than Mukuro Hoshimiya, Ritsuka Fujimaru led the team back to town to regroup. Meanwhile, Belphegor devoured the solar system’s Ultimate ONEs and began opening rifts to parallel worlds in search of an eternal dream.

  • Merlin told Ritsuka Fujimaru that the door opened onto a blank space that could change anyone who entered, and the team’s attempt to reach Mukuro Hoshimiya failed.
  • Ritsuka Fujimaru urged the group to return to town and rest while they considered another plan.
  • Belphegor’s consciousness reached beyond Earth, and the Ultimate ONEs of Jupiter, Saturn, Venus, and the other planets attacked him in turn.
  • Belphegor defeated the Ultimate ONEs, drained their energy, and drew their souls into the dream world to support its structure.
  • Belphegor began draining the Sun, then opened rifts into parallel worlds to seek a dream that would last forever.

Ch. 128A chance encounter at the restaurant

Mukuro Hoshimiya woke in the dream world’s core domain, found money, and went to eat at a restaurant in Trifas. There she unexpectedly reunited with Astolfo and the others, who had been searching for her in the dream.

  • Belphegor drained magical energy from many parallel worlds as the dream world continued expanding.
  • Mukuro Hoshimiya woke in a Gothic room beside a sleeping, chain-covered Demon King and recognized it as her guardian.
  • Mukuro left the room, found herself in Trifas, and picked up a wallet containing Romanian lei and a note reading, “For the lucky one.”
  • Mukuro went to a family restaurant and found Astolfo, Ritsuka Fujimaru, Mash, Merlin, Jeanne d'Arc, Karna, Semiramis, Amakusa Shirou Tokisada, and Heracles gathered there.
  • Astolfo invited Mukuro to join them and explained they had been discussing how to reach the dream’s core and find her, leaving everyone stunned by her sudden appearance.

Ch. 129Mukuro Hoshimiya Runs Away

Mukuro Hoshimiya learned that her dream world was draining Earth and threatening countless universes, but she resisted taking the danger seriously. After Metatron warned her about the consequences of her absence from the sixth sephirah, Mukuro fled and Belphegor restrained everyone who tried to follow.

  • Ritsuka Fujimaru and the others explained the Great Holy Grail War, Belphegor, and the dream covering the globe while Mukuro Hoshimiya ate a meal.
  • Mukuro said she preferred the peaceful dream world and suggested the others could leave or stay, but she would deal with saving Earth later.
  • Metatron warned Mukuro that her absence as the sixth sephirah could cause countless universes built on the Tree of Life system to collapse.
  • Mukuro recalled Avicebron's words, doubted Metatron, and abruptly left the restaurant.
  • Belphegor's power pinned Ritsuka Fujimaru and the others in place, then released them after Mukuro disappeared into the street.

Ch. 130Caught in the Act

Mukuro Hoshimiya returned to her room and learned from Belphegor that Earth could be restored either by refilling the Greater Grail or replacing the old world with the dream world. She remained reluctant to return to the Tree of Life, then denied Atalanta at the door when Atalanta came to speak with her.

  • Mukuro Hoshimiya ran into Atalanta while fleeing and hurried back to her room.
  • Mukuro Hoshimiya told the sleeping Belphegor that Earth was withering, and Belphegor shared two ways to restore it.
  • Mukuro Hoshimiya considered Metatron's warning that universes could collapse if she did not return to the Tree of Life, but decided she needed to leave with dignity.
  • Atalanta came to Mukuro Hoshimiya's door to confirm she had seen her, and Mukuro Hoshimiya claimed she was not there.
  • Atalanta left after saying she would probably come looking for Mukuro Hoshimiya again.

Ch. 131A conversation about saving the world

Atalanta visited Mukuro Hoshimiya, who already knew the truth about the dream world and explained two ways to save Earth. Atalanta left to report the plans while promising to keep Mukuro’s location secret, and Mukuro accepted that the children needed a real world and Earth needed saving.

  • Mukuro Hoshimiya let Atalanta into her room and confirmed that Astolfo and the others had told her about the Great Holy Grail War, her Spirit Origin Inversion, and Earth’s peril.
  • Mukuro Hoshimiya proposed refilling the Greater Grail to restore Earth, or materializing the dream world and replacing the old Earth with it.
  • Atalanta agreed to relay both plans so the others could choose between them.
  • Atalanta told Mukuro Hoshimiya she cared for the children in the dream because their real-world souls would disappear if Earth were destroyed.
  • Mukuro Hoshimiya asked Atalanta to keep her residence secret, and Atalanta promised before leaving.
  • After Atalanta left, Mukuro Hoshimiya told the sleeping Belphegor that Atalanta was a good person and acknowledged that Earth needed saving.

Ch. 132What Atalanta Concealed

Atalanta told the salvation team that Mukuro Hoshimiya planned to turn the dream world into a physical Earth, prompting Amakusa Shirou to welcome the plan and Arcueid to rage against abandoning Gaia’s real planet. Karna then accused Atalanta of concealing important information, leaving the team waiting for her explanation.

  • Atalanta returned to the base and reported that Mukuro Hoshimiya planned to materialize the dream world as a new Earth, replacing the withered real one.
  • Amakusa Shirou praised Mukuro’s plan as a way for humanity to live without suffering, while Semiramis looked at him gently.
  • Arcueid condemned the plan as abandoning Gaia’s living planet, but the dream world suppressed her power and she could only smash a wall in anger.
  • Karna told Atalanta that she had deliberately concealed important information, and the others noticed her uneasy reaction.

Ch. 133A Rift Between Two Choices

Atalanta revealed that the Greater Grail could restore Earth, prompting the group to choose between repairing the old world and making the dream world real. Amakusa Shirou and Ritsuka Fujimaru’s opposing sides prepared to fight, while Astolfo stayed neutral as a messenger to Mukuro Hoshimiya.

  • Atalanta explained that the Greater Grail could be refilled and used to restore Earth, then revealed that Mukuro Hoshimiya had offered both plans.
  • Ritsuka Fujimaru, Metatron, and Arcueid supported restoring the original Earth, while Amakusa Shirou, Semiramis, Atalanta, Heracles, and Karna supported making the dream world real.
  • Amakusa Shirou argued that the new world would spare humanity suffering, while Ritsuka Fujimaru rejected replacing the planet as a false salvation.
  • Metatron insisted that Mukuro Hoshimiya must return to her place as [Beauty], leaving only the choice of how to handle Earth in dispute.
  • Amakusa Shirou refused to yield, and Ritsuka Fujimaru accepted that they would have to fight.
  • Ritsuka Fujimaru told Astolfo to remain neutral as a messenger, and Astolfo stepped back before battle erupted.

Ch. 134Metatron Takes Action

Metatron defeated and sealed the opposing Servants, but Belphegor broke Atalanta free and brought her to Mukuro Hoshimiya. Atalanta explained the conflict over the two proposals and admitted she had concealed one option to protect the children, leaving Mukuro and Atalanta uncertain what to do next.

  • Metatron repeatedly overpowered Heracles, then sealed Heracles, Karna, Amakusa Shirou, Semiramis, and Atalanta while Chaldea prepared to negotiate with Mukuro Hoshimiya.
  • Belphegor shattered Metatron's seals and teleported Atalanta to Mukuro Hoshimiya's room, where Mukuro was eating takeout.
  • Atalanta told Mukuro that the sides had fought over restoring the old Earth or materializing a new one, and that Metatron had sealed the others.
  • Atalanta admitted she had only told the others about materializing the dream because she wanted to spare the children from returning to unhappy lives.
  • Mukuro and Atalanta fell silent without deciding what to do next.

Ch. 135Dream Holy Grail War

Mukuro Hoshimiya arranged a Dream Holy Grail War to settle which plan would be used to save Earth, restoring Atalanta, Karna, and Heracles to their strongest states. Both sides chose their three fighters and gathered on a dream version of the Moon, where the battle began.

  • Mukuro Hoshimiya proposed a three-on-three Holy Grail War, with the winning side choosing Earth's salvation plan and receiving one reasonable request.
  • Belphegor restored Atalanta's peak condition and granted her the authority of the Lostbelt Twin Gods.
  • Mukuro Hoshimiya summoned Karna and Heracles, broke their seals, and had Belphegor restore them to their strongest forms.
  • Belphegor created a lunar battlefield in the dream world and brought the Chaldea group there.
  • Ritsuka Fujimaru chose Metatron, Mash, and Arcueid to fight Atalanta, Karna, and Heracles.
  • Mukuro Hoshimiya announced the rules, and the Dream Holy Grail War began.

Ch. 136Two moons

Mukuro Hoshimiya removed the dream’s power restrictions and sent the six combatants into battle on the Moon. As Heracles fought Metatron and Karna tested Mash’s defenses, Arcueid summoned the power of both Earth and the Moon and created a second Moon to crash into the battlefield, leaving Atalanta preparing to counter it.

  • Mukuro Hoshimiya announced that friendly fire was disabled and everyone could use their full powers, then the six fighters charged into battle.
  • Heracles and Metatron exchanged powerful blows that carved enormous craters into the lunar surface.
  • Karna attacked Mash with the power of the Raiment of the Three Gods, and Mash’s shield began to crack as she held her ground.
  • Atalanta and Arcueid sized each other up before Arcueid drew on her full authorities as Earth’s Ultimate One and Crimson Moon Brunestud.
  • Arcueid used Marble Phantasm to create a second Moon and send it hurtling toward the battlefield, while Atalanta drew the Bow of the Firmament to respond.

Ch. 137This arrow pierced the stars!

Atalanta used her empowered Phoebus Catastrophe to summon Artemis’s true Machine God form, which fired a beam that destroyed both colliding moons. Chaldea’s trio survived the resulting shock wave, and Atalanta and Arcueid faced off again amid the lunar debris.

  • Atalanta fired a guiding arrow that summoned the Lostbelt’s goddess of the moon, Artemis, in her Machine God form.
  • Artemis transformed into a giant bow and fired a golden beam that pierced and shattered both moons.
  • Mukuro Hoshimiya’s power protected the spectators as Metatron, Mash, and Arcueid combined their defenses to shield Chaldea’s trio from the shock wave.
  • The shock wave subsided, leaving the battlefield among the debris of the destroyed moons, with all three Chaldea combatants still standing.
  • Atalanta praised Arcueid’s endurance, and Arcueid answered that she would not be gentle with her next move.

Ch. 138The One Who Presides Is Omniscient and Omnipotent

Metatron and Heracles unleashed their strongest attacks after the two moons were shattered. Metatron’s holy-light bombardment overpowered Heracles’ barrage of golden arrows, leaving the battle’s outcome unresolved as the arrows were engulfed.

  • Metatron summoned her complete throne and sat upon it, freeing her power from the limitations of Jeanne d'Arc's body.
  • Heracles replaced his club with Apollo's divine bow and golden arrows, then used the War God's Belt to fire eighty-one arrows at Metatron.
  • Metatron transformed into the image of the noblest angel humanity could imagine and released her Noble Phantasm, a pillar of holy light.
  • Heracles' barrage collided with Metatron's holy light, vaporizing the remaining debris and creating a vast display visible from dream Earth.
  • Metatron's holy light began to overpower the golden barrage, engulfing and destroying the arrows one by one.

Ch. 139Human Order Measurement Cannon

Heracles deflected the remnants of Metatron’s light cannon with Athena’s Aegis, while Mash unleashed her fully charged ultimate weapon against Karna. The chapter ended with Mash’s human-history-powered beam colliding with Karna’s threefold divine attack.

  • Heracles dismissed Apollo’s Divine Bow, used Hephaestus’s golden breastplate and Athena’s Aegis to withstand Metatron’s weakened light cannon, then raised the bow again.
  • Karna recognized that Mash was waiting for an opening to use her ultimate move and stopped attacking so she could unleash it.
  • Mash transformed her shield into the Black Barrel Replica and fired the Sword of Human Order at Karna.
  • Karna gathered the triple divine flames at Vasavi Shakti’s tip and launched an orb of light at Mash’s beam.
  • Mash’s blue-white beam and Karna’s crimson-gold attack collided in the void.

Ch. 140Thou Art the Radiant Light That Shines upon All!

Karna stopped Mash’s Sword of Human Order by sacrificing two unexpected Noble Phantasms, leaving Mash unable to fire again immediately. Arcueid stepped in to protect her as Atalanta summoned Apollo’s Machine God and prepared another attack.

  • Karna used the Nine-Grade Lotus Platform to delay Mash’s Sword of Human Order, then absorbed the rest of its power with the Jade Purifying Vase with Willow Branch, which shattered after stopping the attack.
  • Mash realized her shield needed time to reload, and Arcueid told her to retreat while she took over the front line.
  • Arcueid used Marble Phantasm to move toward Karna and Atalanta, who approached from the flank.
  • Atalanta’s Phoebus Catastrophe cooldown ended, and she fired a golden guiding arrow with the Bow of the Firmament.
  • Apollo’s golden Machine God emerged from a rift, transformed into a sunlike sphere, and began his True Name Release.

Ch. 141The end of the Hero of Charity

Mash and Arcueid charged the Human Order Measurement Cannon while Metatron shielded them from Apollo’s corona, then Mash’s second shot defeated Karna’s greatest attack. Karna reappeared in the spectator area, unharmed by the dream world’s lack of death, and admitted his defeat.

  • Apollo unleashed an omnidirectional corona that engulfed Chaldea’s group, and Metatron protected Mash and Arcueid with her wings until the attack receded.
  • Mash’s Shield of Human Order finished charging, and Arcueid poured planetary life force into the cannon to strengthen its second shot.
  • Karna overloaded his three divine cores and unleashed Vasavi Shakti against Mash’s Human Order Measurement Cannon.
  • After a prolonged clash, Mash’s blue-white beam shattered Karna’s attack and struck him, causing his Spirit Origin to collapse and his body to vanish.
  • Karna revived in the spectator area in his original Servant form and acknowledged that Mash’s strike had defeated him.

Ch. 142Twelve Labors

Heracles activated the blessings of the gods and fought Metatron and Arcueid across the solar system, destroying several planets while they avoided Earth. As Atalanta and Mash remained locked in a stalemate, Heracles launched his all-out Noble Phantasm at Metatron and Arcueid.

  • Heracles completed his long preparation and received the blessings of the gods, empowering his body and picking up his olivewood club.
  • Heracles battled Metatron and Arcueid across the solar system, and their clashes destroyed Mars, Mercury, Venus, and Pluto while damaging Uranus and Neptune.
  • Atalanta and Mash resumed fighting in the lunar debris field, but neither could break through the other's defense.
  • Heracles, Metatron, and Arcueid fought among Uranus's debris as Heracles gained strength and Arcueid's planetary resources dwindled.
  • Heracles abandoned his defense, invoked Shooting a Hundred Gods, and fired nearly a hundred golden meteors at Metatron and Arcueid.

Ch. 143The Last Arrow

Heracles defeated Arcueid and kept Metatron and Mash under pressure as Atalanta used her final Phoebus Catastrophe. Metatron sacrificed herself to deflect Artemis’s attack and save Mash, while Atalanta’s Spirit Origin collapsed; both returned to the spectator area, leaving only Heracles and Mash on the battlefield.

  • Heracles struck Arcueid with two rounds of Shooting a Hundred Gods, defeating her and forcing her to reappear in the spectator area.
  • Atalanta fired her third Phoebus Catastrophe, knowing it would collapse her Spirit Origin, and summoned Artemis’s true machine body.
  • Artemis unleashed a planet-annihilating beam toward Mash, and Metatron intervened to shield her.
  • Metatron deflected the beam away from Mash but was engulfed and disappeared, while Atalanta’s Spirit Origin collapsed after her attack.
  • Metatron and Atalanta reappeared in the spectator area, and Ritsuka Fujimaru noted that only Heracles and Mash remained on the battlefield.

Ch. 144The Hero's Answer (Remastered)

Heracles defeated Mash in the Dream Holy Grail War, then chose to save Earth by materializing the dream world and overwriting the old Earth. Mukuro Hoshimiya accepted his choice and confirmed the plan.

  • Heracles's eighty-one arrows failed to stop Mash's Sword of Human Order, which destroyed his defenses and branded his Spirit Origin with death.
  • Heracles charged Mash and overwhelmed her with a relentless series of club strikes until his final blow killed her.
  • Mash reappeared in the spectator area, where Ritsuka Fujimaru comforted her as Heracles was declared the victor.
  • Mukuro Hoshimiya revealed herself and told Heracles that the winner could choose how to save Earth and make one reasonable request.
  • Heracles confirmed that he wanted to materialize the dream world and overwrite the old Earth, and Mukuro agreed.

Ch. 145A materialized new world

Mukuro Hoshimiya transformed Earth by materializing the dream world and merging it with Gaia, then appointed Gaia, Alaya, and Amakusa Shirou Tokisada as administrators of the new world. After agreeing to send Heracles to another parallel world to save Illya, Mukuro finished handing over the world’s permissions and began reverting from her inverted state as she prepared to part with Belphegor.

  • Mukuro Hoshimiya had Belphegor spread the dream world over Earth and create false planetary shells around worlds whose energy had been drained.
  • Belphegor assimilated Gaia into the dream world, and Mukuro preserved Gaia’s consciousness and recruited it to help administer the new world.
  • Mukuro chose Gaia, Alaya, and Amakusa Shirou Tokisada to share administrative authority and keep one another in check.
  • Mukuro honored Heracles’s winning request by agreeing to send him to a parallel world to save Illya and help her find happiness.
  • Belphegor transferred administrative permissions to Gaia, Alaya, and Amakusa Shirou, who pledged to do his best in the new world.
  • Mukuro told Belphegor to stop draining energy from other worlds, said goodbye to him, and began returning from her inverted state to normal.

Ch. 146The final farewell and departure

Mukuro Hoshimiya sealed the Chaldea group’s memories and sent them back to Chaldea, then closed the world’s links to parallel worlds and resolved the remaining possession. She sent Heracles to another world, said farewell to Atalanta and Astolfo, and vanished back to her own world.

  • Mukuro Hoshimiya immobilized the Chaldea group, sealed their memories, returned Ritsuka Fujimaru, Mash, and Merlin to Chaldea, and cut off the route between the worlds.
  • Mukuro Hoshimiya sealed the rifts to parallel worlds, freed Laeticia from Jeanne d'Arc and Metatron, and sent Laeticia away.
  • Mukuro Hoshimiya opened a portal to the Fifth Holy Grail War and sent Heracles through to reunite with his Master.
  • Mukuro Hoshimiya gave Atalanta and Astolfo keys to contact her and assured Atalanta that the children would remain safe.
  • Mukuro Hoshimiya said goodbye to Atalanta and Astolfo, then used Lataib to vanish.

Ch. 147First arrival at the Sixth Singularity

Chaldea classified the Sixth Singularity as EX and sent Ritsuka Fujimaru, Mash, and Mayuri to Jerusalem in AD 1273, where they found the region transformed into a desert. After Mayuri used the Leviathan to stop a sandstorm, the group encountered a black-robed procession led by a masked woman who ordered her followers to attack.

  • Olga Marie set the Sixth Singularity’s Human Order Foundation rank to EX after Dr. Roman reported extreme distortions and divine-level presences.
  • Ritsuka Fujimaru, Mash, and Mayuri transferred to the area near Jerusalem and discovered that it had become an empty desert.
  • Roman and Olga Marie confirmed the transfer location and directed the group west toward signs of water and a possible settlement.
  • Mayuri summoned the Leviathan to negate an approaching sandstorm, which collapsed and buried the group in sand.
  • The group encountered about twenty black-robed people transporting a covered cage, and their blue-haired leader in a skull mask ordered her followers to stop them.

Ch. 148Confrontation on the dunes

Ritsuka Fujimaru and her companions encountered Hassan of the Hundred Faces and her armed escort in the desert, where Mayuri summoned Leviathan and nearly caused a massacre. Hassan recognized Mash’s armor as belonging to Camelot and explained that the Lion King had destroyed Jerusalem and built the Holy City in its place.

  • Hassan of the Hundred Faces ordered her warriors to attack Ritsuka Fujimaru’s group, intending to escape with the captive in their cage.
  • Mayuri summoned Leviathan, whose immense presence terrified Hassan and the People of the Mountain warriors.
  • Ritsuka stopped Mayuri from letting Leviathan eat anyone, and Mayuri ordered the beast to stay still.
  • Fou climbed onto Leviathan’s head while Mash and Ritsuka approached the defeated escort party.
  • Hassan identified Mash’s armor with the Holy City and told Ritsuka that the Lion King had destroyed Jerusalem and built Camelot on its ruins.

Ch. 149The Lion King

Ritsuka Fujimaru and Mash Kyrielight learned from Hassan of the Hundred Faces about the three factions in the Singularity and the Lion King's brutal Holy Selection. After agreeing to visit the People of the Mountain's camp, the group left with Mayuri, whose enormous Leviathan had frightened Hassan and her warriors.

  • Ritsuka Fujimaru explained that she, Mash Kyrielight, and Mayuri had traveled from another era to repair the Singularity, and Hassan of the Hundred Faces decided to trust them.
  • Hassan of the Hundred Faces described the Lion King, King Arthur wielding the Holy Lance, and the slaughter of people not chosen in the Holy Selection.
  • Hassan of the Hundred Faces explained that Pharaoh Ozymandias protected his own territory while the People of the Mountain sheltered refugees fleeing Camelot.
  • Hassan of the Hundred Faces revealed that her group had kidnapped an important woman from Ozymandias's territory to use as a hostage and seek his aid against Camelot.
  • Olga Marie advised Ritsuka Fujimaru to accompany the People of the Mountain to their camp, and Mayuri recalled Leviathan into a spatial rift before the group departed.

Ch. 150The People of the Mountain's camp

Ritsuka Fujimaru, Mash, and Mayuri reached the People of the Mountain's hidden camp and agreed to a temporary alliance with Cursed Arm Hassan. They planned to travel with a Hundred Faces envoy to the Pharaoh's territory the next day to learn about his faction and the Singularity.

  • The party camped in the desert, where Mash took the first watch and Mayuri relied on Leviathan to keep watch while she slept.
  • Ritsuka Fujimaru, Mash, and Mayuri arrived at the People of the Mountain's canyon camp and were given a stone house to rest in.
  • Cursed Arm Hassan explained that the People of the Mountain were threatened by both the Holy City and the Pharaoh, and proposed a temporary alliance.
  • Ritsuka Fujimaru accepted the alliance on Chaldea's behalf.
  • Cursed Arm Hassan said a Hundred Faces envoy would go to the Pharaoh's territory for formal talks, and Ritsuka Fujimaru asked to accompany the envoy.
  • Cursed Arm Hassan agreed, requiring Ritsuka Fujimaru, Mash, and Mayuri to represent the People of the Mountain and conceal their Chaldea identities unless necessary.
