Tokiomi summoned Mayuri, whose power shaped the first night of the Holy Grail War and drew the other Servants into a harbor standoff. After Artoria defeated Lancelot and killed Kariya, Mayuri rescued Sakura, while Kayneth prepared to withdraw Sola-Ui and reached out to Waver.

• Tokiomi Tohsaka summoned Mayuri, who identified herself as the Angel of Wisdom Cherub and described her powerful Noble Phantasms.
• Tokiomi and Kirei staged an attack by Hassan of the Hundred Faces so Mayuri could display her power and make Kirei's withdrawal from the war seem credible.
• Artoria and Diarmuid fought at Fuyuki Port until Iskandar and Gilgamesh arrived, and Mayuri revealed herself as a fifth Servant.
• Berserker attacked Mayuri, who fought him with the Thunder Sanctuary before Kariya's failing mana forced him to retreat.
• Artoria attacked the Matou residence, defeated Berserker, and used Avalon to survive Lancelot's final strike as his Spirit Origin collapsed.
• Artoria killed Kariya, but Mayuri rescued Sakura from the ruins with the Thunder Sanctuary in vulture form.
• Kayneth sent Sola-Ui away from Fuyuki, addressed the damage around the Matou residence, and sent Waver a letter offering him safety if he withdrew.
• Mayuri met Gilgamesh in Fuyuki's shopping district, and Iskandar and Waver joined them.

Mayuri challenged Iskandar and Gilgamesh, defeating both with Spacequake and the Sword of Blazing Flame as the Holy Grail War shifted around her. After removing the Lesser Grail from Irisviel, Mayuri’s attack destroyed much of Einzbern Castle, Kiritsugu died, and Artoria found Irisviel beginning to wake.

• Iskandar invited Mayuri, Artoria, and Kid Gil to a banquet, where the kings explained their wishes and Iskandar condemned Artoria’s regrets about her rule of Britain.
• Mayuri defended Artoria, challenged Iskandar to a fight, and awakened her Astral Dress when Iskandar’s kingly pressure surged her Spirit Origin.
• Tokiomi cleared Mayuri’s drunkenness and sent Hassan of the Hundred Faces to support her retreat, but Iskandar answered with Ionioi Hetairoi and his army destroyed the Assassins.
• Mayuri fought Iskandar in his Reality Marble, used Spacequake to collapse it, then erased him and Gordius Wheel with a second Spacequake after Diarmuid intervened.
• Kiritsugu attacked Kayneth’s hotel and workshop, but Kayneth survived the destruction and Kiritsugu’s Origin Bullet before Artoria rescued Kiritsugu from the battle.
• Mayuri defeated Kid Gilgamesh with the Sword of Blazing Flame, destroying Vimana and eliminating Archer from the Holy Grail War.
• Kayneth and Tokiomi agreed to a contract that directed Lancer and Caster to eliminate Saber, while Diarmuid engaged Artoria at the Einzbern forest barrier.
• Mayuri removed the Lesser Grail from Irisviel and entered Kiritsugu’s room, but Artoria drove her away with Excalibur, and Mayuri’s lightning attack destroyed much of the castle, Kiritsugu died, and Irisviel began to stir.

Mayuri won the Holy Grail War, gained a human body, and rescued Tokiomi and Sakura before settling into life with the Tohsaka Family. Later, summoned as Leviathan to guard the Grail in Singularity F, she watched Chaldea’s group gather allies and then unleashed Leviathan against Medusa’s beasts.

• Artoria renewed her contract with Irisviel, defeated Diarmuid, then fell to Mayuri’s charged attack after releasing four of Excalibur’s seals, while Avalon protected Irisviel.
• Zouken attacked Tokiomi, but Mayuri purified him with holy lightning, entered the Greater Grail, and wished for a real body.
• Mayuri destroyed the Grail to stop Angra Mainyu’s black mud, rescued Tokiomi and Sakura, and left Kayneth to help with the aftermath.
• Mayuri helped Irisviel take Illya from the Einzbern main house, then stayed in Fuyuki as Tokiomi began making amends to Sakura.
• The Counter Force summoned Mayuri to guard the Holy Grail in Singularity F, where she became Leviathan and concealed Lev’s death from Shirou Emiya.
• Ritsuka Fujimaru, Mash, and Olga Marie explored ruined Fuyuki, allied with Cú Chulainn, and met Heracles, who transferred his Spirit Origin into Illya to save her.
• Shirou warned Mayuri that Medusa’s beasts were approaching, so Mayuri unleashed Leviathan, which devoured the beasts, Medusa, and the Holy Grail before returning to its pit.

Mayuri left Singularity F for Chaldea after Olga Marie freed her from its Holy Grail, while Shirou remained behind to guard it. Mukuro Hoshimiya joined the Black Faction in the Great Holy Grail War, where her spatial powers helped turn back the Red Faction’s assault and made Jeanne identify her as the war’s greatest problem.

• Mayuri challenged Goetia with Leviathan, then used her Flaming Sword to shatter the Grand Temple of Time and returned to Fuyuki, where Chaldea withdrew without the Holy Grail.
• Olga Marie returned to the Great Hollow and used Medusa’s Holy Grail to bind Mayuri to a new anchor, then brought her to Chaldea while Shirou stayed behind to guard the Greater Grail.
• Darnic assembled the Black Faction’s Servants, including Mukuro Hoshimiya as Caules’s Archer, and the Great Holy Grail War began.
• Mukuro demonstrated her spatial gates and enhancements, sealed Heracles’s Mad Enhancement to help him care for an injured homunculus, and aided Siegfried during his clash with Karna.
• Mukuro’s spatial attacks helped the Black Faction fight the Red Faction, and she sealed Achilles’s Akhilleus Kosmos after Heracles held back its descending world.
• The Red Faction launched an assault from Semiramis’s Hanging Gardens of Babylon, but Mukuro redirected Karna’s attack into space and sealed the gardens’ flight, causing the fortress to fall apart.
• Amakusa Shirou escaped with the Red Faction’s surviving Servants, Mukuro sent Spartacus into space, and Darnic secured Fiore’s Command Spells after Vlad III’s death.
• Jeanne d’Arc arrived at Millennia Fortress and asked to see Mukuro, whose identity Jeanne could not fully read and whose presence she recognized as the war’s greatest problem.
